We’re reading through the Bible this year together. This week, we ended Leviticus (and all God’s people cheered “Amen!”) and jumped right into Numbers — the book of family trees. Because humans are like trees — rooted in faith by streams of water.

We’re reading through the Bible this year together. This week: welcome to Leviticus, the book that challenges Bible readers everywhere. As weird as it seems, Leviticus is all about the holiness of God. If all the blood, guts, and fire have you scratching your head, this is going to be a great Sunday.

God begins to more fully introduce himself to his people, the people of Israel are fleeing slavery in Egypt, and we’re witness to the first Passover.

Why do we make such a big deal of Jesus’ birth? Because God’s whole story finds its climax in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of the Christ; the God-man, Jesus. Join us as we walk through John’s Gospel this December!

Solomon (Qoheleth) continues dispensing wisdom as we make our way to the 11th chapter of Ecclesiastes. This time, he’s got some unique and valuable lessons for the younger generation out there. For example, "let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes" (Ecclesiastes 11:9)... but be sure not to leave off the next verse as you’re studying this passage!

From this ancient book of the Bible to Alanis Morissett’s 90’s anthem, the misalignments of life have always bothered us. Teaching pastor Chad Sparks digs into Qoheleth’s perspective on what it means when life doesn’t work out like we might hope and how God’s sovereignty changes our perspective. Ecclesiastes 8:14-11:16
