We bring Jack back, and he brings his Dungeon Master for the Roleplaying game built on the bones of Wizards of the Coast's Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition. Jack's Dungeon Master, Ryan, tells us about all the hard work he has put into his creations and lets us peek behind the curtain into his creative insights.

Delving further into the minds of the players is turning out to be fun! This week Grant and Nathan discuss Babbs, a character played by Amber from Nathan's campaign that has been pivotal to many of the group's decisions. 

Duel On is over! Well it's been over for a while, but this was just as the dust was settling and the adrenaline was wearing off.  Grant and Nathan decided to reflect on Duel On, and the crazy Dungeons and Dragons session in particular.

After our break preparing for Duel On, we are back! As the Duelists gather in a little town in North Carolina, the Dungeon Master for the weekend reveals his plan to praise and punish his players.  Nathan walks through the backgrounds and plans of each Player Character for Duel On 2021, and we promise to show you how it all went down next week!

While the group fiddles around with some new audio settings, Grant, Nathan, and Dakota share their world building insights. The discussion leads to adventure planning and gives some insight to how each Dungeon Master (or Game Master) runs the game, and uses player creativity to aid in their world creation.

How do you best plan for a campaign? As the Dungeon Master it's hard often an overwhelming (see our earlier episode for help there) task to plan the world for your adventures. Sure you could just use a preplanned setting, but what if you wanted... a whole new world.

Grant and Nathan discuss character creation for any roleplaying game. This is what to do after your Session 0 goes off without a hitch and you and your players are building your next duelist together!

How do we deal with overwhelming board games? How do we deal with players feeling overwhelmed? Kick them out of course! We actually have a good discussion about player community and the responsibilities of everyone to make sure everyone has a good time.

We jump ahead in our schedule and talk about the Season 2 Finale of the Mandalorian and the applications and uses it has for us as story tellers.

Nathan takes us on a little journey through Collectable Card Games and Living Card Games. We discuss the different aspects of some of the titans in card gaming communities and what we think they offer us.

In this episode we talk about D&D and why it is loved so much. We take a winding path through some of our campaigns and Grant possibly convinces Nathan to talk more about RPGs.

We're back! Again! We take a look at what happened in 2020 and try to move on. We plot a course we hope to take in 2021 and how you guys can participate in things with us!

Grant gives a bit of his personal experience on his two favorite RPGs: Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons, and he gives some of the capabilities and highlights offered by the systems.
