We are a group of teenagers that are just so passionate about sharing the the word of God and the experiences that we have faced in our short journey with Christ so far. The main goal is to create a community of God fearing young adults that are not afrai
There are so many things out of our control, and our natural response is to think about those things a lot we cant help it. Not only do we think about the things in our lives that we can't control, but we also worry when things in our lives don't go the way we expect them to. But the word tells us to worry less and pray about it, lets make it a natural habit that when are faced with situations that trouble our hearts and make us anxious we should take it to the Lord through prayer. At the end of the day we cant change our situations but God can, so just breathe, pray and trust that God will take care of it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message
Culture has created a belief that as a teenager you can love Jesus and not act like it. Following Jesus changes everything about life, and true spirituality makes us weird to the world. We stand out from our peers. We lose friends. We have crucified coolness and we will never be popular. We have to understand as teenagers is that being a follower of Christ is not something you get to turn off everyday and only turn back on a Sunday , it's an everyday thing, it's a lifestyle; a commitment. To daily take up a cross means requires a selfless life of service. Following Jesus requires living each day as He lived, giving into God every day, offering a daily sacrifice to do His will. This does not imply a life of poverty and problems. It doesn't mean that dreams cannot come true, or that one will be left alone and abandoned. God promises health and prosperity, and has adventures in store for those who commit their hearts and lives to Him. You can't serve two masters at the same time, you can't serve the flesh and God at the same time it doesn't work like that. The culture we a growing up in wants us to believe that it's okay to satisfy your flesh and still be in the right standing with God but that's not true. The bible instructs us on how we are supposed to live as sons and daughters of The Most High. If you have fallen short of the mark and sinned it's not too late to turn to God in fact Luke 5:32 says l have not come to get those who think they are right with God to follow me. l have come to get sinners to turn away from their sins. Jesus came just for you and me and no matter how deep your sin is His grace is deeper so don't let the enemy lie to you that you can't be saved because the King of Kings came from Heaven so that He can save you --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message
Sometimes it's very difficult to be consistent in serving the Lord and seeking His face, firstly we have to understand that it is normal to have a phase in your life were you are not consistent. The key to always be consistent is staying connected with our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and how do we do this? We stay connected to Him by being in daily communication with Him through prayer and reading the word. The strength of waking up everyday and carrying your cross will come from Him because if we try and run on our own fuel it will definitely run out. The other thing is we should be on this journey of serving the Kingdom of God for the right reasons, when we serve God everyday for who He is and what He has done for us on the cross we will be motivated to wake up everyday and serve Him no matter what but if we are expecting a transnational relationship were if He gives me that and this then l will serve Him it wont work because in a season were God does not give us all we ask for we will no longer be consistent in serving Him because we based our whole relationship with Him as You give me this and l serve you faithfully but it shouldn't be like that. So lets stay connected to the Him and trusting that He will see us through. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message
God's attributes change the way we live. when we see God's holiness and glory we automatically change. we shouldn't be scared to know Him because we do not want to change but we should seek Him and He wil reveal Himself to us. so we really need to ask ourselves if we really want to see God in our lives because when we see Him we change and that's a commitment. When we see God's holiness we are responsible for what we see and it put's us in a different bracket compared other people. As believers we should not compare ourselves to people that are not chasing kingdom glory like we are because that puts us in a position were we end up doing things to satisfy the flesh but just because your freinds are doing it that doesn't mean you should as well. so yeah let's focus on seeking God and asking Him to reveal Himself to us because there comes change in seeing His holiness. If you look in the bible people that had an encounter with God automatically changed a good example would be Paul on his way to Damascus when he met God his life completely changed after that --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message

After 4 weeks we finally come to the end of our SIN SERIES and we hope that after listening to these 4 episodes you guys now have more knowlegde on SIN and if you that person that has been struggling with ongoing sin or if you are addictted to something we want you to know that there is a way out. We can't truelly change ourselves but God can, it's hard to change and stop doing certain things that had become so normal to us but by giving our hearts to God He can change our hearts, desires, mindset so that we can become who we are mean't to be and fulfill our God give purpose. Sin affects our purpose because it takes us off the road that God wants us to stay on to fulfill our different purposes. We all have God given purpose and the enemy will not rest until you fall and feel like you have messed up way too much to even fulfill you purpose. That's why it is important to RUN TO THE FATHER when we fall and confess, like we said in our previous episodes (But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9) there is so much power in confessing our sins to God but the enemy wants us to feel like we are so dirty and we can not RUN TO THE FATHER but God wants us to come to Him all the time, in fact He has His arms wide open waiting for you to run to Him. This is what Mati and Kee-Vonne are going to be talking about in this last episode ( SIN VS OUR PURPOSE & RUNNING TO THE FATHER) --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message

In week 2 of our series we are going to be focusing on 2 points which are> HOW DOES SIN DESTROY OUR LIFE AND HOW DOES OUR SIN AFFECT OTHERS. Most of us are aware that our sin destroys us in many different ways and if we do not destroy our sin it will end up destroying us. We should stop underestimating sin and the damage it brings in our lives, the word itself says that our spirit can be willing but our flesh is weak. So it's important to expose ourselves to sitiuations that will lead us to falling in sin. Again our sin just doesn't have negative effects on us alone it also affects other people we around us and so when you're even in private our sin is affecting our mood is affecting our attitude and our behavior towards other people and by either living in sin or rejecting sin from our lives we can either be a positive influence or negative influence on the people that we interact with. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message
Hey guys Firstly we just want say thank you very much for listening to our podcast and watching our content for the last couple months. The goal here @TC is to help people grow spiritually and get closer to God through sharing our own personal experiences with Christ. We have seen God work in our lives and we believe that can happen to you too if you fully seek to Him (Matthew 6:33). This year let's make it all about God's will in our lives and not ours, His plan for our lives and not ours. For this year we are starting with a series entitled SIN. There are so many questions about SIN and hopefully we can manage to help you by answering them in this series. In this first episode we are going to be focusing on two points which are, WHAT IS SIN? AND HOW THE ENEMY USES SIN TO DISTANCE US FROM THE FATHER. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message
In this mid-week we talk about three things. What we are letting into our house , what we are keeping in our house and who we are letting into our house. Corinthians 6:19-20 says we are the living temple of God and we do not own ourselves we belong to God. So what are we letting into God's house. Is it light or darkness . Luke 11:34 says our eyes are the lamp to our bodies when our eyes are healthy out bodies are full of light. But if our are eyes are unhealthy then our body is full of darkness. What are we choosing to see that is filling our house with darkness? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message

When build your foundation in Jesus it's not that the storms dont come or wont face hardships in your life, the storms do come but you will stand firm because you built your foundation on a rock (Matthew 7:24-25) But if you build your foundation on anything that's not Jesus when you face storms in your life you will fall hard and crumble because you built your foundation on the sand and we know that sand is easy to destroy. Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace. Well then, since God's grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Romans 6:12-16 NLT --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message
Trusting and allowing God to set your direction without him giving you any details(OBEDIENCE). Being a Christian means we have to be obedient. A good example of obedience would be Abraham when he was told by God to sacrifice his only son , he did not complain but he just did what God told him to do and because of that he was rewarded and his generation was blessed because he was obedient. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-chapter/message

We have already started with God by giving our lives to him. And we have had more time to spend with our father but now we need to stay in his presence as things start to slowly go back to the norm. Don't chase clout/fame because there are conditions like you have to be good at something, you have to achieve something great and then people can give you the clout and they can also take it because they gave it to you. But if you chase the kingdom of God you don't have to be perfect, there are no conditions to God's love.
