Luke Lezon's ministry path hasn't followed a straight line. Fresh out of college, he received several unique preaching opportunities – only to watch them quickly disappear. Later, in the wake of a painful church split in Orlando, Luke was thrust into the lead pastor role at just twenty-nine years old. This week, he joins Nate Dewberry to talk candidly about seasons that tested his faith and leadership, and the lessons God used to shape him through it: learning humility, balancing work and family, and finding a renewed willingness to understand and forgive others.Segments/chapters0:00 Intro/Luke's upbringing and call to ministry7:57 Humbled by the Lord in a season of youthful arrogance12:40 Luke's unusual path to his current role in ministry21:08 Leading a church in a big city/Mentors and role models30:28 Raising a family while running a church34:54 What's on Luke's current reading list39:52 Regular practices for spiritual growth44:56 A key message to listeners: “Don't be Peter Pan”Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. Join us as Pastor Justin shares an encouraging word titled “Built for more: Redeemed and Transformed.” In it, he reminds us of God’s purposes for our lives, no matter where we are in our spiritual journey. God’s plans are always bigger and better than we can imagine for ourselves. We just have to remember that we are saved by His Grace and then Redeemed and Transformed to be more like Christ. Worship and study with us.

Chris Morris is an author, speaker, and ministry leader helping others navigate depression, suicidal thoughts, and emotional pain through the integration of theology, therapy-informed tools, and spiritual formation. In 2020, Chris reached a breaking point. After a suicide attempt, he experienced a life-altering encounter with God—one marked by a simple but radical message: “I still love you.” That moment became the foundation for his healing journey and a renewed approach to mental health, faith, and community. A graduate of Northern Seminary, Chris brings depth, humor, and theological insight to complex mental health conversations. He is the author of Resilient and Redeemed, Trucking Toward Tenacity, and By Faith, and is a sought-after speaker at national events, including the Disability and the Church Conference. In this episode, Chris and host Erin Kerry talk honestly about rock-bottom moments, what the church often misses in mental health conversations, how community reshapes our healing stories, and practical rhythms—like morning routines—that support emotional resilience and hope. If you've ever wondered whether your mental health struggles disqualify you from God's love, this conversation is for you. Isaiah 62 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. 2 The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give. 3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. 5 For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. 6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, 7 and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth. 8 The Lord has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “I will not again give your grain to be food for your enemies, 11and foreigners shall not drink your wine for which you have labored; 9 but those who garner it shall eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.” 10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; clear it of stones; lift up a signal over the peoples. 11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.” 12 And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.
As sinners, it is only through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by His death and resurrection that He can call us the redeemed and rescued from hell.

Jesus paid for you and bought you with His blood - He redeemed you to Himself eternally!
Pastor James continues our new series, Redeemed, walking through the book of Ruth. This week we looked at Ruth 2 and saw that God's redemption is motivated by His love.
Under the covenant of grace, we no longer need to depend on our own efforts to earn God's approval like the people had to do under the law. Because of our belief in Jesus and in His finished works, God has already approved of us and declared us righteous. All that remains for us to do now is to respond to what has already been done. The new covenant calls for the effort to stay rooted in grace when everything around us tries to pull us back into performance. Living under grace doesn't mean the absence of labor, but laboring to remain at rest when the devil tries to distract us with the world's doubts, fears, and anxieties. Pastor Ray Bentley reveals a portion of Revelation where John, the earthly author, was tearful. John's tears represent the tears of all God's people throughout all the centuries. No wonder John wept so fervently. If no Redeemer could be found to remove the curse, it meant that God's creation was forever consigned to remain in the hands of Satan. But then all of a sudden, everything changed.

In this passage, Paul introduces us to God's very special vocabulary.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley looks to revelation for the Lord's plan of redemption. The Book of Revelation has comforted the church that there is a plan. There is an unfolding of the divine will of the father in heaven. And the central theme is the sun. And it's going to a conclusion. And the conclusion is that the very title deed of the earth that was lost and forfeited is to be reclaimed spread.
Pastors spend their days shepherding others through crises, temptations, and mental health battles, but who helps them carry those same burdens? This question led Josh Turner to launch Project 10Ten, a ministry devoted to helping pastors confront their own struggles, stay mentally healthy, and thrive for the long haul. This week Nate Dewberry sits down with Josh to unpack how 10Ten weaves rigorous academic research into practical support and counsel for church leaders. Josh opens up about the lessons he's learned along the way as well as how raising a daughter with a rare special needs condition has reshaped his perspective on life. (3:15) Bible Study: Isaiah 29:17-24 Redeemed and the world to come. Matthew 9:27-31 What does this passage mean really? (21:39) Break 1 (23:21) Letters: Is there a difference between someone who sins and someone who is a regular sinner? How does the gift of tears relate to the other gifts of the bible? Father answers these and other questions, send him a letter at simon@relevantradio.com (32:16) Break 2 (33:44) Word of the Day Santa Claus (37:02) Phones: Diane - In the New Testament it says 'many are called but few are chosen'. What does it mean that, 'few are chosen' Alonzo - The priest at Mass today said the Matthew that wrote the Gospel is not the same Matthew who was an Apostle. Is this true? Joseph - I want to push back against the letter you received about sin. Wouldn’t it be the case that if someone aims at a different target, they still miss the target so 'Hamartia' could still apply? Rich - In the New Testament the historic Jesus says he is not allowed to associate with the Canaanite woman. What is your interpretation of this passage? I think Jesus is rejecting Catholicism here because Catholicism comes from the Etruscans.
These biblical principles will change your life forever. In this series, Dr. Jerry Savelle reveals what it truly means to be redeemed and blessed. It is normal for a believer to walk in everything Jesus paid for—peace, healing, and more—every single day. This revelation transformed Dr. Jerry and Dr. Carolyn Savelle's lives—and it can transform yours too. The apostle Paul called this message the most important truth he ever delivered to the church. As you watch, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the significance of the cross and the power of Jesus' victorious resurrection. His finished work is the foundation for God's power and the fullness of His blessing operating in your life today. Get this revelation—and watch your life begin to change before your eyes. Discover what happened at Calvary and how it applies to you as a believer right now.
