I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation…✓ Discontentment begins when my desires are distorted.James 1:14-15 (ESV) But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.✓ Discontentment magnifies what is past and vilifies what is present.Exodus 16:1-3 (MSG) On the fifteenth day of the second month after they had left Egypt, the whole company of Israel moved on from Elim to the wilderness. There are so many things out of our control, and our natural response is to think about those things a lot we cant help it. Not only do we think about the things in our lives that we can't control, but we also worry when things in our lives don't go the way we expect them to. But the word tells us to worry less and pray about it, lets make it a natural habit that when are faced with situations that trouble our hearts and make us anxious we should take it to the Lord through prayer. Worry is often a go-to method of parenting, but it is not beneficial at all. But when we pray, God does more than we could think or imagine. He has provided everything you need, you just have to go out and claim it as yours and trust him. When we acknowledge our fears and decide to trust God anyway, big things can change in your life.
