What if you lost everything you have in life?
In this episode I talk about how I really messed up remembering people's names today. Shame on me! I have to be better.
Sorry I got this episode up later than I wanted. In this episode I talk about the upset in the NCAA March Madness tournament and how we can apply what events happened in basketball to our own lives.
In this episode I talk about what I learned from sitting in a conference this past week. I got to hear some people who were addicted to drugs speak and it gave me another perspective in life.
In this episode I talk about a number of different topics including the power of asking for free food at Starbucks.
I have a couple different thoughts on working out and Twinkies
In this episode I give my thoughts about what I am experiencing with failure. I have failed enough times in my life that each time I've failed in the longer run has given me more confidence to go after the things I want to pursue. I attribute this due to the fact that I know that whenever I fail I have the opportunity to rise above my circumstances.
In this episode I share my thoughts on the benefits of being able to be concise and not using big words
In this episode I talk about the benefits and examples of being able to solve people's problems in life.
In this episode I talk about how I wish I learned the world revolved around sales earlier in life.
I went to get a hair cut tonight and I had an enlightening conversation with my stylist. She used to be a cop for 10 years and she told me she loves watching murder mysteries every night. The more she spoke I realized this was a classic example of how you become like the five thoughts you spend your most time thinking about. On a side note I want to send a shout out to all police officers. A number of my friends are police officers and in my opinion they have one of the most difficult jobs on the planet. Without them our country would not be what it is today.
In this episode I talk about how tempting it is for me to talk about this one person behind their back. I don't talk about people 99% of the time but with what this person has been saying lately I noticed an increased desire to want to talk negatively about him to other people. I'm not perfect and with this situation I see an area for me to improve. Who in your life do you talk about negatively behind their back?
I'm currently taking care of my parent's 15 year old dog and it's changing my routine. I wasn't able to go to the gym today, the dog is barking at me and pretty soon I know my place will start on fire. The good thing is that when our routines get interrupted, life gives us the opportunity to adapt to change and rise above the obstacles.
This is the self discipline podcast- as I'm recording this episode I have a massive craving for cookies and ice cream. However, I am making a vow to refuse to give into it. In this episode I talk about the benefits I get from ice cold showers. Taking a ice cold shower won't turn you green like the hulk but it will make your mind stronger with being able to handle adversity. Taking a ice cold shower is unpleasant but if you are in there long enough you come out feeling refreshed. Just like in life the best things are a result of periods of being uncomfortable

This episode I talk about the challenges one faces when starting a new habit. For myself I am getting in the habit of creating a daily podcast that adds value to people's lives. While there are some things I do well in my life, the action of creating a new habit I still have ups and downs. Perhaps the same is with you if you are tying to lose a couple pounds, put on more muscle, stay away from tempting foods etc.. If we love the process and remain dedicated to our crafts eventually we will master our habit!
In this episode I talk about how thankful I was for the phone call I had with a friend who moved away recently. It's the small things that make our lives and the hour phone call put me in a good mood to start the day Who have you lost touch with that you would like to get into contact with?

Drinking Alcohol outweighs exercise for long life. In this episode I provide my thoughts on a study that just came out to make that claim

It's amazing how quickly our health can get taken away from us
Today I rebound from a bad dinner yesterday (ramen noodles) and am eating a healthier lunch.
In this episode I talk about what I'm eating tonight for dinner and why it may not be the best idea in the long run
