Jake is someone who's dealt with Psychosis under the supervision of the system for 8 years. In the last 2 years, Jake has drastically improved his life and perspective, which he claims, is predominantly due to his friendship with Me and Jamie Hurst. Rather than being surrounded by people who can't give the correct care or attention, while prioritising medication over education, He's responded greatly to strong relationships with people who're educating themselves and living healthier lifestyles through independent experiences. That's right, just through love, guidance and friendship, he's learning how to improve his life holistically and sustainably.

With an overwhelming supply of issues, drip fed to us through the media and negative energy poisoning the world. I give my thoughts on a subject that seems to repeat itself over and over. With such a complicated matter, it's difficult to come close justifying my true feelings, so consider that while listening. I invite anyone's opinion in response to my own. https://longlifehealth.net
Social anxiety can poison the best of us. I believe it's one of the most common issues we suffer as people. Whether it's a mild case occasionally or a severe case frequently, you shouldn't have to suffer. In this episode, I offer some real, useful advice on how to deal with it. You can also read my article for more information. https://longlifehealth.net/2017/08/31/3-ways-to-help-with-social-anxiety/
For the first time, in episode 44 I talk about something that isn't Health specific. I'm a giant fan of Conor McGregor, and with absolutely everyone writing him off for the fight, I've had to voice my opinion. I go out on a massive limb and give my prediction which seems to defy all the odds. I look forward to more current affair episodes in the future.
Think of the people that inspire you the most, or have become successful. It's more than likely those iconic individuals are admired for their ability to be themselves. Concentrating on others and comparing your own abilities to theirs is a waste a time and dis-service to yourself. Finding out who you truly are and projecting that to the world is something we should all aspire to do.
Poor Mental Health is as real as it gets. In this episode, I offer my insights towards; why things get so bad and how you can make subtle changes to get positive results. If you feel I have mentioned something that has caused you to feel a certain way, good or bad, get in touch with me and share your thoughts via the link below. Express your feelings, don't depress them! www.longlifehealth.net
Understanding the ego is something we should all look to do. This episode goes into a little more detail after my recent article on the subject. I give my thoughts on what I believe it is and some of the problems it can cause. https://longlifehealth.net/2017/07/23/what-does-ego-mean-is-yours-a-problem/
The "Surroundings" component of my H.I.S.S.T.S. philosophy explained verbally. I also wrote an interesting article on longlifehealth.net, so go and read that as well.

I continue to break down the HISSTS philosophy in this episode. Highlighting the importance of Serenity and why nothing is worth doing if you do not enjoy the process. Every component in the philosophy is equally dependent on another in order to achieve the best life you can.
My present insight on all things relating to distress is; it only happens when you remove your mindset from the present moment. So, logically bring your attention back to what matters, which is the NOW and prevent your mind drifting off worrying about worst case scenarios. I hope to deliver some value to those that suffer with "uncontrolable"
Another ramble about something that may seem obvious, but wouldn't hurt to reiterate.
I felt it was the right time in my life to have this experience, so I went for it. I started on a baby dose of 1.5 grams. Really, it was nothing but a positive experience for me. It's difficult to put into words right now, but I try my hardest to explain my view on the whole situation. Nothing will justify what happened, not even close. Allow this episode to be a catalyst for you to make your own explorations and research.
The need for an immediate result can lead to many issues. Often it's why we give up or look towards short term solutions. I explain it in detail here and waffle on about human observation.
As I get further into the book, here's an update on it. The idea you set out with initially is often a completely different one from the final product. I'm quickly learning this!
I knew I had to do something to change up my routine. So a good option was to go live with my Grandma in Spain. I ended spending 26 days there. I learnt a lot and I got what I needed. Here's my review of it after being home for over a week.
Moving forward is crucial. But, what's the point if it's not in the direction YOU want to go. Learning to accept who you are, and displaying it for the world to see is the start to achieving the best life possible. Failing to do so, not only does yourself a disservice but can also lead to dire consequences.
In the second installment of my philosophy breakdown series. I talk about the ever growing problem that is mental health. It seems to be pushed aside, and less of a priority in relation to physical health. I beg to differ! This is a serious topic that I want to take seriously, as I mention at the end. Please do contact me if there's anything I can do to help.
Long Life Health is built around a philosophy. You can learn more about this philosophy at www.longlifehealth.net I begin the breakdown series of each component of that philosophy in this episode. Starting with Physical Health. I am also working on a book. The book will define in detail each component, and act as a manual for those interested to better their lives.
Negative thinking is a big issue. We are all prone to it. There's a lot you can do to work on it and gain control. Here's one suggestion. Once you learn to fully accept the moment you are in, and practice a few positive techniques. You will acelerate your personal progression in all areas. Plenty more over at www.longlifehealth.net
Impulsive creativity could be the key to releasing some of your best work. Whatever your craft, try it and see how it works for you. *Sorry for the sound quality.
I'm here in Spain. Listen to hear why. I also explain what I'm doing in life and further breakdown what Long Life Health is.
Hello. In this episode, after a short break, I talk about where I've been and my plans for 2017. I head to Spain for an unset period of time
Intense 3 minute episode explaining the science behind heartbreak.
The key to helping others, is helping you. Find a balance in everything to optimise yourself and progressively work on improving YOU on a daily basis. Be ok with everything, including failure. We are defined by our reactions to things, not our thoughts, emotions or intentions. Be selfish in a polite way and you will learn a lot about those who "care" for you.
I was in a flow state about learning how to be in a flow state. I've realised and had another breakthrough...In order to optimise your time even more, you need to optimise your thought processes in the actual process of figuring it out.
Here's my advice on how to deal with colds and flu. Always prevent rather than treat. Being consistent all year round is important, but over compensating when needed is sometimes necessary. You can get a daily greens supplement here https://www.xbrain.co.uk/onnit-products/food/egn-black-cherry More supplement for immunity - https://www.xbrain.co.uk/onnit-products/shroomtech-immune-2
Sleep is one of the most important things when considering Health, performance & functionality. We do it for around 8 hours a night every night so it can't be overlooked. In this episode I go over some quick tips to improve the quality of your sleep. For more tips, stay tuned to future episodes or read the book "Sleep Smarter" by Shawn Stevenson. Find out more about mattresses here... http://sleepexposed.com/home/ A good go-to supplement to aid in sleep can be bought here... https://www.xbrain.co.uk/onnit-products/newmood
Here's the follow up to my first experience in a float tank, also known as a sensory deprivation tank. The list of benefits can be found anywhere online. For me, what I found most obvious was the fresh feeling afterwards and how relaxed I felt. I'm definately booking again to get more practice in on learning to switch off. I recommend anyone trying it. I went to a place local to me, you can visit their site at http://www.cornmill-healthcentre.co.uk/contact.htm
Removing Sugar from my diet and following Ketosis was the first domino I tipped over to get on the path of success. I describe how sugar makes you fat and why healthy fat helps you lose it. Reach out to me if you want to know more. Visit www.longlifehealth.net
Some things to think about. I believe you become who you are by what your exposed to. Start asking yourself honestly..."Are you doing what you can and living in a way that will help you achieve your goals?" Once you become honest with yourself, you've set yourself up to manipulate what your exposed to in order to strive. Not just removing the negative, but replacing it with the positive. Don't aim for perfection. Progression a day at a time is what you are after.
My advice to stop smoking is simply...get a grip. Be strong, understand you control your limbs that cause you to smoke. Get control of that and set your body up to deal with the adjustment. Make swaps in your routine so your aren't just removing the problem, but tackling the pattern that lead you to smoke. Here's where you can get the Daily Greens supplement I mentioned, as always I praise Onnit and their products. https://www.xbrain.co.uk/onnit-products/egn-black-cherry
I advise everyone listening to this episode to go to longlifehealth.net to read a detailed explanation of my view. I talk about how the current system causes more problems and why to start changing your resources to get real change and solutions.
My reasons to Podcast. My present feelings on the whole thing and my unique view on an approach to change.
You really should start implementing this habit into your routine. Start at a level your comfortable with. Maybe just turn it cold near the end of a shower and build from there. Providing your breathing is under control, you can handle it. This is just the start to something that can cause a positive change in your life. So if you are interested further, look at the power of breathing techniques, along side cold exposure and research everything to do with Wim Hof. Visit my website www.longlifehealth.net to find out many more ways to make sustainable, positive changes and see the notes for this episode.
So as always, prevent rather than treat. Hydrate before, during and after a drinking binge. Whilst in a sober mind frame, before you drink, take a high quality Glutathione supplement. Take as advised and find what work for you. Drink equal water to alcohol and stay take vitamin C capsules in periods of the drinking session. A high nutritious meal before starting will also set you up for a happier morning. Good quality vitamins can also be taken in the form of a multi-vitamin or each on their own, depending on your budget. Go to www.bulletproof.com - For a high quality Glutathione supplement.
An attempt to read a loud my post, about myself. Summarising a short back story, where my inspiration comes from and a little more. I'm not the best auditor, but it's practice.
Replace empty calories with Nutrient rich food. We are being led down a rabbit hole with this theory about calorie awareness will get you to a state of sustainable health. Our body needs nutrients, give it everything you can and you will be everything you can be. A true health specimen.
As I delve deeper into branding my Philosophy, everything keeps getting clearer. I explain what I mean by HISSTS and how taking it into account will help you reach your potential. My Blog/Website will cover everything I explain and more, including a fully written philosophy and a bit more on who I am and where my inspiration comes from. Apologies for the mic & sound issues, my bad (Still learning)
This is really working for me. Designing a day to get the most out of your life is a practice. As you do it you will find you get much more done and learn so much doing so. As I mentioned, I use an app called Wunderlist. Shouts to the dog (Trixie) in this episode.
This is me thinking out loud on a topic that could cause some opposition. But, this is the Talk Thought Podcast and I'm just thinking out loud, expressing my views on happiness.
Do your best to 'prevent' rather than 'treat'. Firstly, if you can, avoid an environment that will trigger your symptoms. Look for cleaner air. Get into a daily ritual of taking an antihistamine in the most cost affective way. Go to your chemist and ask for the unbranded version that's at least 10mg of; Cetirizine Hydrochloride or Loratadine. Take in evening to avoid drowsiness. Once under this habit, if you still occasionally feel signs of an episode about to occur, then try a nose spray. I've used Prevalin before and has at times helped. If no further luck, then go for a reduction approach at the time symptoms are bad and ask for "chlorphenamine maleate" at your local pharmacy. Keep tissue up your nose to stop irritation whilst your body gains control.
How you can make coffee work for your health, rather than against it. Start by removing the sugar and milk and letting you pallet adjust. Removing Sugar from your diet is the best way to begin optimising your health. Get a good source of Coffee so the taste is as good as it gets, then start replacing the sugar with clean, healthy fat sources such as Grass fed butters, MCT oils and other nootropics. Take the things you ingest seriously and your have a seriously healthy lifestyle. Visit www.xbrain.co.uk to see where I get all my Onnit products. The UK's exclusive distributor for Onnit. To find out more about Onnit, which I highly recommend you do, to take your health and the attitude towards it seriously go to https://www.onnit.com
Summary; Do not ingest fluoride & go for trusted brands you can access on your financial budget. Look for a high PH level you can trust. Don't be too concerned over plastics, as long as they aren't kept out of direct heat/light sources, not damaged and are in date. Go for one you can access regularly and stock up on. Take advantage of the morning and drink up to half your daily amount. If budget isn't an issue then here is a brand you can order with the highest PH level i've seen. http://www.icelandspring.com
Something i've really considered lately is the issues that arise if you done have any form of expression or outlet. I find it leads to a lot of negative behaviours so finding a way to start expressing yourself in small ways can lead to a change in direction, towards a more positive life.
The initial step, out of my comfort zone. Putting it all out there. In search for the best way to express myself and synergistically easy for others to listen to. I do written posts & videos on instagram, link in bio.
