In Part 2 of our captivating four-part conversation with LPGA star and major champion Donna Andrews, we dive into the early years of her professional journey and the pivotal moments that defined her rise on tour. She walks us shot-by-shot through that memorable week at Columbia Edgewater and relives the nerves, the fighter jets overhead, and the broken window that helped ease her tension en route to victory. Her momentum builds as she quickly validates her breakthrough with a second win in Tucson just months later, then rides that confidence into her career-defining triumph at the 1994 Nabisco Dinah Shore. Donna candidly recounts the drama of that Sunday showdown with Dame Laura Davies, the wrong club that nearly derailed her, and the clutch putt that sealed her first major title. And yes—she tells the story behind restarting the now-iconic tradition of jumping into Poppie's Pond. With warmth, humor, and deep insight, Donna reveals how her belief in herself evolved, how friendships and rivalries shaped her, and how the unique spirit of women's golf in the 1990s continues to resonate today. This episode is a must-listen for fans of the LPGA, major championship lore, and the timeless stories that define the game.Give Bruce & Mike some feedback via Text.Support the showFollow our show and/or leave a review/rating on: Our Website https://www.forethegoodofthegame.com/reviews/new/ Apple Podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/fore-the-good-of-the-game/id1562581853 Spotify Podcasts https://open.spotify.com/show/0XSuVGjwQg6bm78COkIhZO?si=b4c9d47ea8b24b2d About "FORE the Good of the Game” is a golf podcast featuring interviews with World Golf Hall of Fame members, winners of major championships and other people of influence in and around the game of golf. In this explosive exposé, Tara connects the dots between Iran's nuclear ambitions, street-level chaos in America, and the Democratic Party's increasingly radical alignment. Highlighting bombshell comments from John Kirby, Marco Rubio, and Tulsi Gabbard, she reveals how Iran is actively funding anti-Israel protests in the U.S., while the Biden administration releases known terrorists and violent criminals into sanctuary cities. Tara digs deep into Democrats' decades-long backdoor support for Iran's nuclear program, starting with Obama's $1.7 billion cash delivery and continuing under Biden, who has allowed over 1,200 Iranians and 99 terror-watchlisted individuals into the country. She slams the mainstream narrative downplaying Iran's nuclear intent and exposes Iran's alliance with progressive movements that display rainbow flags but ignore the regime's brutal oppression. Plus, a shocking ICE case from Denver: left-wing activists helped a child rapist evade federal capture, underscoring the depth of Democrat protection for violent illegal immigrants. Tara argues this isn't incompetence—it's a calculated strategy to reshape the electorate, using mass illegal immigration, crime tolerance, and foreign influence to cement power. With Trump as the last bulwark, she warns: the threat isn't just abroad—it's already inside the gates.
I talk with producer, Kevin Carter, about the new movie they just launched called 'Animal'. This movie seeks to set the record straight about the benefits of the carnivore diet and what the 'Proper Human Diet' for humans really looks like. It sets out to debunk so many of the untruths about meat and animal products that are proliferated by the plant based community. It imparts the information in such a relatable way and provides us with, what I called, a 'toolbox of comebacks' so that we can have meaningful discussions with people who seek to disseminate misinformation about what we should be eating. The film features so many of the people who have graced our stages as speakers at many of our events. Icons like Dr Robert Cywes, Dr Robert Klitz, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Ken Berry, and Sally Norton are all featured in the movie. The film just launched on June 20 in select theatres and released that day to streaming as well. It is available on pretty much all platforms where you can watch streaming content. The most interesting thing for me that came out of our conversation was the fact that people can arrange screenings in local theatres and even places like church halls on an ongoing basis. I was very excited to hear about that and encourage everyone out there to try to do something in their town or city. Not only will you be helping to get this message out but you can put together an amazing community event and really do something real to make a difference. Just go to the website and then scroll down and click on 'Host a screening'.
