Do you know yourself to be an empath? If so, what does that mean? How do you then need to manage your energy in ways that empower you rather than deplete you? In all the years now that I’ve worked with people and their energy, I’ve seen a lot of empaths struggle with how they manage their energy, how they can get lost in all they hold and feel and sense in the world around them. As one who senses and feels so much, it’s easy to get stuck in the fullness of it, to the point of harm. To the point of feeling out of balance and misunderstood. So let’s talk about being an empath and how to manage your energy. A few things I cover:Energetic boundariesCreating clarity on your beliefs about how 'energy' works in the world for you.Why you need to be capable of modulating your energy (and your ideas) to be in the ebb and flow of life... and how your energy responds. How being too open energetically impacts your grounding. To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
When it comes to making changes and working with your energy and expanding beyond what you know and do, it’s easier to go big. Believe it or not, your energy can settle into a bigger leap... when you find your zone of energetic potential. There’s a sweet spot that’s on the other side of where you are – in thinking, in what you believe, and what you can energetically maintain … that is the next stage of your growth. It’s as though your body, your energy, and your nervous system recognize it. And even though it may seem like a big leap that’s scary, you soften into it. It’s your next stepping stone on your path. If you’re looking to create change, you want to find that step and go for it. Because to stop shy of it feels off energetically. In this episode, I’m chatting about how you can find this energetic zone and how you relax into that energy. I chat a bit too about resistance, because going big isn't always easy... but oh so much better on your energy. If you're looking to create change, you'll want to check this episode out.A few things I cover:How to sense where your energetic zone of growth and change is.How to recognize the way you relax into bigger levels of expansion. Why resistance can be your friend and guide. To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
Have you ever picked a word for the year and come July totally forgotten about it? I have. Lots of people do.Staying with our process can be challenging. Resistance is real. Life gets in the way. The next thing takes over our thoughts. But what if you had a way to stay with it? A bit of a system? In this episode, I’m chatting about how you can stay with the core ideas that matter to you, to track your evolution, to keep an eye on how you are growing and who you are becoming in relationship to this word of yours - this growth you seek. And it begins with a few simple questions to ask yourself to get you back to what you know so you can work from there. How might you grow if you had a plan to stay with your process as the year unfolds? Hmmm. What if you set time aside every week to keep coming back to the word you picked for the year or the core ideas you are working with? What if you had a way to keep moving that forward in your awareness? That’s what I’m talking about here.A few things I cover:My favorite questions to get me back in connection with the core ideas I am exploring in my life. Prompts to move me forward.A step by step approach, to stay with your process so you don’t lose the thread of your growth. A few creative ways to take your awareness to a new level, to usher in new information. My way of anchoring in new energy and ideas via a breath tool.To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
There’s a fun way that I like to call in new things, a manifestation tool I guess. And as we wind down 2020, when so many of us begin to think about what’s to come in the new year – and I dare say even what we want to create for ourselves – I’m playing with this very magical way of tapping into what I want to call into being… and why. It’s a game. It’s playful and creative… my kind of energy work. So, if you’re thinking about creating a vision board, this may be something to do instead. A more potent way to tap into the energy of what you wish, and what becomes important around the need to create it.A few things I cover:- A fun and creative way to create some manifesting magic - my step by step process- Focusing on core growth to manifest what you need, your evolution, over ordering-up things you want- How changing the language of affirmations (how you speak to the universe) can help you move into the vibration of what you seek- Florence Scovell Shin's book, "The Gane of Life and How to Play It.'To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
Today, in the quiet hours of the morning, I was thinking about all the stressors we’re each dealing with, quite aware that mine are different than yours - people are struggling in many ways. And of course, the holidays are here where even in a normal year, they can be stressful. This year, stress is playing a role in our lives in ways we may not even totally be aware of.And sitting with my thoughts on the world and the different forces that are challenging us, I was guided into a journey of my chakras. And there I found a whole story of stress that I was holding in my chakras, what I had picked up simply by being human, and what was mine to look at. Stress was tucked away in places I’d not normally go looking for it. And so, in this episode, let’s go on that chakra journey… an exploration into the energies that are tucked away, maybe adding to, or a result of, all that the world is tossing your way right now.A few things I cover:- A simple way to do some inner work and healing - chakra by chakra- Simple, core ideas about each chakra, to help you with a road map for how to work with your chakras- Why you don't need to know about chakras to do this type of healing work (it's not about chakras, but you!)To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
Finding a word for the year is a popular thing. It can be empowering to choose a word that feels aligned with where you want to grow or who you know you are becoming. But we all know that life can take us on a ride, where Spirit lets us know it has an entirely different level of growth and awareness for us to focus on.2020 felt like that. I feel like we have all lived a lifetime in this year. So much has happened that it’s almost overwhelming to think back through what we have been asked to look at, own, and step into. And so when I started seeing the posts about who has a word for the new year, I wasn’t ready to go there. I’m not done with this one. And words didn’t feel like a starting point to lean into how this year has changed me, to even know what I needed from 2021.But color did.In this episode, I share a way to play with color to help you tell the story of your year. To see a colorful story of you.A few things I cover:- Why, even though we want to kick 2020 to the curb, we may want to sit with this year a bit longer.- The steps I took to playfully work with spots of color (paint or digitally) to connect with my inner wisdom. It told an eye-opening story of healing.- How creative exercises like this can direct you more than say, picking a word for the year.To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
There are these 3 little words that get in our way whenever we are feeling stuck. They show up when we feel lost, out of sorts, and confused. I hear them all the time when I take clients into their inner world, where they meet with their intuition to find their way. And these 3 little words shut down their inner wisdom in the most potent of ways, locking them in a battle for what will guide them forward. So, in this episode, I’m talking about these 3 little words, and how you can speak something new. Something much more empowering on your healing journey. A few things I cover:-Exploring the motive behind these 3 words that block you -How to work with the resistance to move beyond the stuck point-How a single phrase can help guide you to explore and integrate in a new wayTo leave a comment, head to the show notes here
You are intuitive. Within you is everything you need to engage in this lovely process of communication and awareness with the energy around you, the information you’re looking for. And yet it’s so easy to feel separated from this wisdom, this ability - and the personal power it supports.I’ve come to believe that empowerment is the work of our intuition. And the more we can come to know how to listen within and trust our own wisdom, use that in ways that work for us, the more empowered we become. The more we step onto the path that is ours. And the more we connect with a world beyond what we know, but a world that guides us in all we do So, in this episode, I’m talking about intuition and empowerment… you and me, claiming both. A few things I cover:-How you can give your intuitive power away to certain ideas.-How you can show up to your intuitive process - your guides and angels - to get the most out of your connection with them.-Where you can fall into a powerless trap of waiting for information. To leave a comment, head to the show notes here
Manifesting… creating. We don’t will things into being, we co-create what feels aligned with us, what serves us in some ways. And when we can slow down and feel into the energy around us to create with, we’re all the more powerful.Seasonal shifts are potent times to be aware of the energy and how we dance with it. When we use this energetic knowledge to help us shift our energy and find our way, we amplify our creative process. We amplify the creative energy that available to use through Nature’s cycles and seasons, to find a flow.Whether you’re creating something with your work, your business or with your life, tuning into this seasonal rhythm that’s upon us can offer you a way through with more ease.So let’s talk about how to align with the energy of spring to create more... to dance with the energy in a way that serves you best.
What do you do when it seems like the universe has a big ask of you… where you recognize that something big and new has to happen in your work, in your life, and you’re looking at it and thinking, this is big… and scary? This week my guest is Robin Funsten. She and I talk about a pretty big ask that the universe had of her with her business. We talk about how to move into trust of that, saying yes, and how to keep saying yes through the ups and downs. There’s a whole lot of good juicy ideas in this episode. Take a listen.
There's no doubt that we are living through an awakening, a shift in consciousness and energetic awareness. Over the past years, there's been an incredible new language set into place with energy work and healing work. More and more people are reaching out for activations and attunements to step into new vibrational states... awareness. In this episode, I call bull-s#*t on some of that. You don't need the activation, trust me.Listen to this week's episode and step into your power around your energetic process work. You already have what you need to create clarity, healing and the new awareness you seek.
Going on a healing journey — a journey of awareness — is never a linear process. And when you work with your intuition and inner wisdom as a guide into that process, most likely you'll be shown a starting point that makes you question what "that" could possibly have to do with what you're wanting to change.Trusting the non-linear way your inner wisdom and spirit work can help you get into a level of healing your head has no knowledge of. But one that will change you more quickly, and more deeply, than you could ever dream of. And, that's a good thing. This week I talk about trusting this and going deep...
Nature is constantly speaking to you, offering messages of inspiration and healing. Nature also has a lot to say about the questions you have about your work and your life... when you feel stuck and need direction. This week, my guest Angie Mattson Stegall and I talk about listening to Nature: the how, the why and the trusting of the process.
Do you believe yourself to be intuitive? What does that mean to you? For a lot of folks, intuition is a flash, a gut feeling in a sense that seems to come out of nowhere. Some people think that only "psychic" people have access to this level of information.Me? I think those flashes of intuition don't sum of the whole story of what intuition is about. Far from it. There's actually an "everyday" way that we access our intuition that shifts us into more personal power. And every single person has access to this level of intuitive power. So let's talk about how you think of intuition. I'll share how I see it, and how I work with it. And how you can too.
Trusting your inner wisdom, your intuition, isn't always easy. But sometimes the reason why is because you're focusing on the wrong thing. Especially if you're working with your inner wisdom somewhat sporadically - when you need an answer to a question - what you get back will feel untrustworthy. There's no foundation there for context and understanding.
Over the years, I’ve come to ask myself one question that takes me furthest into my growth and healing than just about anything else. One question that gets me out of my head and into the heart of what matters. It’s the one question I ask the women I work with too, that then takes their transformational work to a whole new level. It’s a fairly simple question on the outside: “Who are you being asked to grow into?” But the true answer to this question is often a few layers deep. Allowing the answer to come takes practice. You’re going to want to answer it with your mind and you’ll want to always think you’re totally on board with the idea of this growth… but that’s not how this goes. In this episode, I'm talking about the transformative process of focusing on the question, “Who are you being asked to grow into?” Let’s talk about the process of answering it and how it can change you when you learn to listen in a way that lets you meet that energy before you make any decisions about what you should be doing as that person.
Having a way to keep the vision of what you wish to create, up close and on your mind, is really important. And for a lot of people, their go-to tool is to create a vision board. Me? I'm not a vision board gal. That’s never been a tool that has fully resonated with me. So, this past year I went looking for a way to keep my vision active in my mind. But not just the vision, I also wanted to stay present to what I needed to do to make that vision manifest; tasks and goals that would get me into action. What I found was the chalkboard method, a simple goal tracking process. But instead of just mapping out goals derived from my mind, I’ve approached this from a more intuitive perspective. Intuitive goal setting and vision planning needed to merge… I mean I am me after all! I really like this process, and so if you’re thinking about how you want to grow this coming year and starting to look at goals, you might want to get yourself a board and try this. If you’re someone who tends to get lost in process, always looking at what’s going on but not really moving into action, this is a great way to bring that balance in. And if you’re someone who gets stuck in their head and makes lists of to-dos’ because you think you need to do this or that and you’re not planning your deeper life out, doing a board that offers you time to process and plan for 3 months might change how you move through your days. It might begin to feel slower and more aligned… less reactive So in this episode, I’m talking about how I do this, what my process is. I share how to blend your deeper intentions and the steps you need to take to make those happen.
I think there’s a balance that we need to find between intentional growth and letting the universe guide the way. Finding this balance often comes up when we think about things like setting intentions, having healing goals, being the driver of your life, and meeting the universe halfway. To me, all those things are important - and necessary when you are on a spiritual path - a path of your own spiritual evolution. I’ll sometimes hear people say that they don’t have any particular intentions about themselves and their growth. They’re in this wait and see space; going with what is and letting the universe guide them toward what is next. And although I get that, there’s also something deep within me that keeps wondering… at what point is it necessary to take the wheel and drive. In this episode, I'm sharing how I balance action and allowance, and dish up a whole bunch of questions to help you explore this for yourself.
There’s a coolness factor when it comes to tapping into a level of inner wisdom and guidance that comes from beyond you. It's fascinating to be able to access a level of information that is outside your rational mind. It's really cool to be able to work with guides and receive information that seemingly comes out of nowhere... but lands as a truth. But the truth is when you tap into intuitive and psychic information and you start dabbling with energy work, what you're doing is you’re accessing a level of information that's going to transform you. And taking the leap into that transformation requires bravery, trust, and a willingness to change that I think often gets lost when people get interested in all things intuitive. At least at first. In this episode, I’m talking about bravery and intuitive work; shifting out of the fun part where you're receiving all kinds of neat messages and having fascinating experiences with the unknown, to then getting down to the nitty-gritty work of transformation.
If you want to work with your intuition – to work with energy, your inner wisdom, and guidance from beyond your rational mind – you’ve got to develop some “out of the box” thinking to see something new. You’ve got to give yourself a way to recognize something that is beyond your current mindset; something maybe even unrecognizable at the moment How do you go about understanding something that is new or not yet clear to you? You start with your imagination and creativity to seek out answers and help you make sense of what you sense so you can see it and understand it… even acclimate to it. But the problem is, most people don’t trust their answers then. They think the information they’re receiving is completely made up and irrelevant because it’s coming through their imagination. So today, let’s talk about how to build that trust and why it’s so important to get creative when it comes to you doing intuitive work.
It kind of sucks when your intuitive wisdom tells you something that you don’t really want to hear. When you ask yourself, your guides, or the universe a direct question like, “Is this what I’m to do?” and you get an answer that disappoints you in some way… or challenges you. If you’re really listening in a way that gets you to your truth, sometimes you’ll recognize that you are being guided in a direction that’s hard, or not what you hoped you’d hear. That’s when you know this stuff is real. That’s when you know you have a choice to make as to whether you listen to your head or your intuition. So today, let’s talk about your intuition and how sometimes it’s gonna tell you things you just don’t want to hear... and how to deal with that.
So many people tell me that they feel guilty – almost ashamed – that they are not meditating when they think they need to be. They’re not focused on some kind of spiritual practice in the way they think it’s supposed to look. And they want to know… should they be? If you're confused about what your spiritual practice needs to be, then there are some key things you want to look at; to get clear on. Sometimes there’s a real message in that confusion, like get off your butt and do your inner work. But all too often this confusion is about comparison and self-judgment; not knowing how to discern what you need as a spiritual practice, and trusting your instincts on how to integrate that into your daily life. In this episode, I talk about how you can ease into a spiritual practice that works for you and kick that confusion to the curb.
When it comes to being an empath or one whose energy-aware, it’s important to know that just because you’re sensitive to energy and can feel something, it doesn’t mean you’re doomed to be stuck sitting in the collective vibe. When you feel the collective vibe - even the overwhelm - there's information for you there. You're not to process everyone's emotions...just your own. If you’re feeling the overwhelm in some way, there is always something happening within you that you can work with. And in this episode, I give you 3 steps to doing just that.
We evolve in our spirituality. I know on my path I started out captivated by crystals and energy healing and what seemed so surreal. I talked about Guides and energy in this very esoteric way, mostly because I didn’t fully understand it; I simply didn’t have a way to put my own words to what I was learning. And yet years later I found myself still using this very spiritual language that honestly, didn’t make a whole lot of sense to people who didn’t speak “the woo.” I realized, the way I spoke of my spiritual experience was totally un-grounded. And I see that everywhere around me. Let’s bring our language down to earth to make all this energetic speak clear. Doing this will change you. It will empower you. It will definitely change the way you work with your energetic and emotional process.
Being an “Everyday Lightworker” is a little bit like being an energy renegade. These days there’s a new wave of Lightworkers in town, those taking their work – and their energetic awareness – to the streets… into the everyday world. Mission-driven, spiritually-aware, do-gooders are taking their awakened selves out into the world in grounded and practical ways to create change… for themselves and their communities. Everyday Lightworking isn’t necessarily about focusing on our 5D experience and working the energetic grids, but grounding our multidimensional experience and staying aware of that, while also tending to our daily life. In fact, it’s how we move our daily life forward. In this episode, I'm talking about what "everyday lightworking" is all about, and offering up a few questions that will get you thinking about your life, your energy, and how you're putting your spiirtual mojo out into the world.
There are a lot of reasons why you probably don't trust your intuition. For the most part, you're taught not to. "Psychic" is a thing that gets put on a pedestal, glamorized even. It's made special, which keeps people from recognizing that they have an innate way of accessing information at an intuitive level. And even people who feel like they're "intuitive," don't trust themselves and the information they access when it really matters. You don’t need to learn some fancy modality of energy work to tap into energy. You don't need a healing to begin to sense into your intuitive mojo. You have the ability right now to learn how to listen to what is beyond your conscious awareness and act on it. You might need to learn how. If so, I've got you covered. But trusting what your intuition is showing you, well, that's something you need to practice. So in this episode, I offer up some info on trusting your intuition as well as an exercise for you to building that trust-muscle!
How do you know when something is aligned with you? If you feel inspired to do something, and it fails or falls flat, does this mean it wasn’t aligned with your soul… or is something else getting in the way? Getting things to manifest can be tricky business. We can feel in our bones that something is right, and still not see it come to be. And although alignment is very important, it may not be all that’s in play when it comes to you creating what you seek. So in this week's episode, I'm talking about how you can sense into alignment, and what gets in your way.
What do you care about? What drives you in your life? What do you believe, that helps you make sense of the world? I think that everyone has a metaphorical soapbox that they stand upon, where they tell the story of why they're here, what they believe is the focus of their life. Not everyone knows their “soapbox story” though, which can lead to feeling lost in life… feeling off-purpose. And some us struggle with owning our story, and saying that what we care about, really matters. But our spirit work is to bring our soapbox story to life in some way – to create an impact on the world in some way because something about this life really matters to us. This is about knowing who you are and what fuels your purpose. Just think what would happen if you stepped into that and you let that fuel all of the choices that you make.
Work and spirituality often seem at odds. Most of the people I coach struggle with how to bring more of their spirit into their work… or find work that lets their spirits soar. But bringing a little mindful “work woo” into your 9-5 can help you get through the day feeling more aligned with your heart and living your truth. It can help you connect with a sense of purpose at work. And by tending to what your spirit needs when at work, work can become a place where you express your highest vibe. And no, you don’t need to cart in the candles and patchouli into your office to work from a more spirit-driven place. I’ve got some other, more grounded ideas for you.
If you want to work with energy – for healing and personal change – then it’s really important that you become comfortable working with your imagination and your own creative process. To work energetically, you have to create some kind of a construct to tap into what is unseen, and one of the easiest ways you can do that is through your imagination. But the problem is, most people don’t trust that. They think the information they’re receiving is completely made up and irrelevant because it’s coming through their imagination. But really, their inner wisdom – their intuition – is speaking to them through the best channel it has to offer up insight. So in this episode, I’m talking about how to build that trust and why it’s so important to get creative when it comes to you doing energy work.
Thirty-plus years ago, when I first started to work with energy, “grounding” was about running a cord down into the earth to anchor in and release excess energy. That was then, this is now.Grounding in the new energy paradigm is different. You’re more attuned to the subtleties of energy and frequency now. For your energetic system to work at its best, you need to consciously connect your frequency into both the earth’s frequencies and what you may think of as source energy – your more multidimensional awareness and all the places you may be energetically present. When I teach people to ground “Stacy Style,” and connect with all of this energy as a source of information, and fuel in a sense, it becomes clear when they are having difficulties staying in the vibrational flow they need to feel solid in the world and manifest. In this episode, I talk about where you might be stuck in being vibrationally grounded and offer up ways to work with that. You can also get my free guided meditation to help, here.
In the spiritual world, these days it’s all about flow; listening within to find your way, making aligned choices, and following the path of ease. Hustle is an opposing force; yet we hear about it too. In many ways, hustle gets a bad rap… it’s become all about force and busyness. This clash is creating a rising conflict in my mind, because to break through your own barriers and do something new in your life – create something that is new to you or new to the world – you’re going to need to light a fire within and hustle a little. There is a way to do hustle, and at the same time, be in flow. In this episode, I’m talking about how to master both.
There’s a sweet spot where you are most energetically potent… where you have an impact over manifesting the synchronicities you might need to create something or to work with the universe to feed you the information (aka energy) that you need to understand and transform something. In this episode, I talk about how to find that place of awareness - that sweet spot - because most people are either out ahead of it or lagging behind. I also offer up a few ways to work with your energy and awareness to take daily aligned action and roll your energy out, bit by bit.
If you’re interested in energy work as a tool for personal and spiritual growth, you need to create a relationship with energy. It’s not about fancy modalities; sure, you need to have a construct within which to understand energy – some way to work with it that makes sense to build that relationship. But if you don’t learn to relate to your energy and what you find there, more than the technique, then you’re missing out on a powerful way to create personal change.I can’t tell you how many people I meet who want to work on themselves in this way, yet who aren’t at all sure how to begin. So, let’s talk about how to create a relationship with energy, a simple way to get you started, and why it might just be the most important thing you do.
In this episode of the Do What Matters Podcast, I’m talking about energetic boundaries and how to work with them. It’s a huge topic, so buckle in!Most people think of energetic boundary work as a defense from unwanted energy or energy that seems to overwhelm them in some way. And the typical response is to create some form of protection.I see that as the opposite of what you need. Clear energetic boundaries really don’t have anything to do with protection. Your energetic boundaries respond to what’s going on within you, not outside of you. Most people are going about this level of work from the wrong direction. So let’s talk about your energetic boundaries and how to create a strong system to support you.
As above, so below. What we see in the world, we mirror within ourselves. And when healing is needed to transform both the inner and outer, Ho'oponopono can be a powerful tool. Learn this prayer, this healing mantra, and how to use it. It's a way through, when you face conflict and pain.
High vibe thinking… is it all about feeling good? I actually don’t think so. At least not all the time. So, what is a high vibe? What does it take to embody a true high vibration that is manageable for you? At what point do you cross over into trying to force a high vibe into being, which, let’s face it, the Universe can spot right away as an untruth? Today, let’s talk about how you really create and hold a high vibration and what it allows you to create when you do.
There is a way to work through emotional energy, the emotions that you might be getting stuck on, to quickly shift out of what feels so uncomfortable with them and gain some perspective too. And that is to lean into that energy, fully… in full awareness. And yet that’s not what most of us want to do. It can be scary and uncomfortable. For some people, there’s a real aversion to even considering engaging with what in their mind is not a high vibration. But the truth is until you look at what’s in play and allow that to shift in a way that you learn from it, nothing is going to change. You’ve got to be willing to lean in. In this episode, I'm talking about how to work through those moments that hold an emotional and energetic charge… where you might be getting stuck.
You’ve probably heard that quote from Maggie Kuhn, “Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.” This past week, I’ve been thinking a lot about speaking what’s on my mind. Speaking the thoughts I think and often don’t share. I have a long history of putting the kibosh on stepping up and speaking my voice - sharing what I KNOW – especially when it puts me in a position of stating my truth that might run counter to those around me. But then, I end up feeling unheard. It’s an issue that I know so many of us have, especially us women. So today, let’s talk about speaking up… speaking your voice… standing in your power and speaking those thoughts the universe plops into YOUR head because you are the one to express them. They are your gifts, to give.
Mastermind groups aren’t new, but they still might be unfamiliar to you. So in this episode, I talk about what these groups are and why getting into one might just be the best thing ever for you.Every big change I have made in life was supported - even instigated - by a mastermind group. They’re that powerful. So if you’re looking for support to keep moving ahead, listen in to this week’s episode for what a mastermind group can offer you.
There's a reason why you're hearing about essential oils everywhere right now. The power that they hold to help you transform your energy and your personal well being is transformative. They're not just about the smell; there's way more to them than your next DIY project. Understanding the energetic side of essential oils can be tricky. There's not a lot of detailed information out there on how to use them for your personal growth. So in this episode, I break the whole frequency and essential oil conversation down some. And, I offer up 3 powerful ways you can work with essential oils to support change.I know, you’re hearing about essential oils everywhere these days… but maybe not quite in the way I talk about them; maybe not quite in a way where you can see their relevance.Essential oils are powerful tools to support you in mind, body, and spirit. Learning to use them in ways that help you to move through the stuck points in life and shift your energy means you shift gears faster. And, that’s a good thing.
I don’t think it matters if you’re 22 or 52, figuring out what you want to do that will both make you happy and support you can be a challenge. Why oh why is it so hard to figure out what you want to do? Well, for starters, you probably haven't been taught to find ways of merging your interests and skills into some kind of practical work. Plus, sometimes standing up and saying what you want is scary as all get-up. You may not believe it's even possible... and therefore have shoved it into the back resesses of your mind. But the need to do what matters is being lit-up these days. You are awakening, and so is your calling. A lot of people looking for new work these days who are are looking outside of themselves, toward a particular job or a job title, and hoping they can fit themselves into that. But they’re never really figuring out how to listen within, for the inner guidance toward work that truly matters… the work that is uniquely them. So in this episode I'm talking about the one shift you can make to help you discover what your work is all about, and what's next.
There’s so much happening in the world right now that feels scary and chaotic. We are seeing our own personal and collective growth happening right before our eyes. Energetic structures are changing across the board... everything from your cellular energetics to political systems to Mama Earth herself. All this transformation can feel chaotic; it can break our heart’s wide open. So let's talk about how to manage your energy through all this change - these changing times - in a way that keeps moving you forward.
I don’t know… how often do you hear yourself say that when someone asks you about something? I think we say it more than we realize. I don’t know is often a mask to something deeper, a reluctance – especially when the question invites us to explore our own personal growth or to reveal something that moves us to a growing edge. So today, let’s talk about these 3 little words… I don’t know, and what’s really going on when you say them.
Because I do so much energetic work, I meet up with a lot of people who also have a strong relationship to energy and the subtle realms. And often, they'll tell me that they don’t do this earthly thing so well. They’ll say they’d rather operate in the energetic world… it’s easier. There’s sometimes a bit of a judgment there too, like this 3D reality we live in… well, kind of sucks. I get really frustrated when I hear people dissin’ the whole 3D experience. After all, this is where all the action is. It's really hard to create any kind of an impact in life if you're not willing to be here. I bridge two worlds. I'm "woo-woo" and I'm also "practical, down-to-earth, 3D get it done." Personally, I think that combination is what we're learning with this ascension vibe. You're spiritual work is not to headi off into the ethers, but to learn how to come down to earth with your wonderful energetic awareness - where you can bring your magic here through what you do. So in this episode, I'm talking about ascension and this 3D experience… and how you need to be showing up to not only do what you’re here to do… but to do what your spirit is here to do.
Can I really make money doing what I love? That’s one of the questions I hear the most from new clients. I believe the answer is yes. Sadly, most people won’t ever find out if they can create work that’s meaningful and supportive in all ways. The fear of change will hold them back. The confusion of what that work is might paralyze them. And not knowing how to create a change at this level might just keep them stuck in work that isn’t fulfilling… or serving their spirit in any way. And then there’s the idea that somehow, by doing work that you love you’ll be doing work that’s less valuable - feeding this common idea that if you embark on work you love, you’ll of course make less money. But don’t forget…. When you claim what’s important and align yourself with work that matters, you’re up-leveling, not down-leveling.
Everyone has the ability to work with their own energy. And yeah, we all need to get help from time to time with the big life issues when we’re blocked… getting help with what we can’t see and when we’re in resistance. But for the everyday energetic maintenance and everyday emotional processing, you can work with your energy to transform that at a vibrational level and create a new awareness for yourself. Most people either make their personal energetic work way too complicated or they fear the process. They don’t get what energy is... so they don't know how to work with it. In this episode, I take you through my thoughts on what energy is, and how you can start to work with your own energetic awareness (yes you have that!) to shift out of the stuck emotional blocks that might get you down. If you've been looking for a way to manage your "everyday" energetic process, this is the starting place. Keep it simple, keep it real, and keep it grounded!
Leap and the net will appear. We hear that a lot. Just let go... have faith. I have a long relationship with this notion of "leap and the net will appear." It's not always been pretty. I've leaped and fallen... hard. I've struggled with my own sense of faith and trust. And I've learned how to best manage how the Universe and I need to co-exist to allow things to flow. Its' not been easy. There have been times where people have said, "just let go" - their version of "leap." All that did was push me further into struggle and fear. Leaping isn't always the best strategy. There are some things you need to know about yourself before you do. So let's talk about that stuff. Listen to this episode. It will give you some things to think about around your own sense of faith and how to leap in a way that you'll land where you need to.
What's my purpose? What should I be doing? I hear those questions a lot. When people get stuck around the "purpose" question, it's as though their energy just spins. Confusion sets in. They grasp at straws to find the answer. But really, there's one big question you need to answer, to know your purpose. In this episode I ask it of you, and give you a sense of how to go about answering it for yourself.
I hear it all the time, "I don't have time to meditate or work with my energy."Carving out that time can be hard when our lives are super busy. Don’t get stuck in the idea that your inner work has to look a certain way or take a lot of time. Here are a few ideas to help you, using the time you already have.
