Jenny McCarthy on Reversing Autism, Healing Mold Toxicity, and the Biohacking Protocol Big Pharma Doesn't Want You to Know Back with another long one! Autism, mold poisoning, and cognitive decline share more root causes than most doctors admit, and this episode hands you the biohacking playbook to reverse all three. Want to try Jenny's makeup and skincare line? Visit https://bit.ly/Formless-Beauty and use code DAVE to unlock a discount. Host Dave Asprey sits down with Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, a New York Times bestselling author, actress, comedian, and 14-season judge on The Masked Singer who became one of the most trusted voices in the autism community after her son's regression following a vaccine reaction. She documented his recovery in books including Louder Than Words and Healing and Preventing Autism, founded the vegan, cruelty-free beauty brand Formless Beauty, and now develops unscripted television, documentaries, and podcasts with her husband Donnie Wahlberg through their Work Baby Productions banner under a first look deal with Lionsgate. Dave and Jenny trace her son's autism diagnosis back to a vaccine reaction and walk through the biohacking protocol that helped him recover, including candida detox, activated charcoal binders, collagen and hypermobility support, and hacking his gut with a low toxin diet that removed wheat and dairy. They connect autism to mitochondria energy collapse and neuroinflammation, and explain how nootropics like modafinil restore focus without the crash of stimulants. The conversation moves into longevity and human performance strategies for adults, covering low dose Cialis for brain blood flow, DHEA and thyroid optimization for women over 35, peptide protocols including melanotan and Retatrutide, cyclical ketosis and fasting alternatives, and why hormone replacement therapy reverses aging instead of causing cancer. They dig into functional medicine tools for everyday life: electrolytes and salt for blood pressure and sleep optimization, blackout darkness for circadian repair, baking soda for metabolism and alkaline balance, and why Jenny trusts krill oil over fish oil for anti-aging support. Dave breaks down ibogaine and neuroplasticity for brain repair, defends his carnivore leaning diet, shares why Danger Coffee still starts his morning, and calls out AI chatbots for pushing censored health narratives. This is essential listening for anyone interested in biohacking, human performance, longevity, functional medicine, brain optimization, and building a smarter, not harder approach to supplements and long-term health. You'll Learn: How mold and candida trigger PANS and PANDAS, and why they mimic autism symptoms Why activated charcoal timing determines whether it works as a binder The link between collagen, hypermobility, and leaky gut in autism and long-term brain function How modafinil, nicotine, and Cialis support brain optimization, focus, and mitochondria function Why hormone replacement therapy and DHEA reverse aging in women after 35 The truth about ketosis supplements, structured water, and alkaline water myths How darkness, light exposure, and electrolytes rebuild sleep optimization and metabolism Thank you to our sponsors! - ZenBud | Dave's Nervous System Biohack. What exactly does an energy coach do?After three different conversations brought me back to essentially the same question, I started thinking about how I describe the work I've been doing for nearly a decade. The simplest answer?I speak languages of the soul.Mediumship. Psychic development. Medical intuition. Intuitive energy healing. Psychic investigations and missing-person work. Ancestral and womb healing. Meditation. Akashic Records. Quantum healing. Belief work. Somatics. Astrology. Potentials and future outcomes.Different modalities. Different languages. But underneath all of them is the same foundation:The modalities are languages.
Intuition is how we receive.
Discernment helps us understand what we're receiving.
Self-trust allows us to work with it.
The foundation holds all of it.In this episode, I'm sharing how I actually work with people, why your energy is your currency, and what happens when we begin paying attention to where we're spending, leaking and investing it.We also explore future potentials, psychic information, quantum energy and why intuitive development isn't about predicting or controlling everything that comes next. It's about building a strong enough foundation to weather the storm — and hold the expansion. In this episode:
• What I mean by “energy coach”
• The many languages of intuitive work
• Energy as currency + your energetic “iCloud”
• Psychic information and future potentials
• Quantum energy and higher timelines
• Intuition, discernment + self-trust
• Building a foundation that can hold expansionABOUT JESSICAJessica Meils is a spiritual medium, intuitive healer, guide and teacher. Have you ever said, “I don't know what to do,” and then spent days, weeks, or even years asking everyone else what they think? Sometimes you genuinely don't know. But sometimes you do know something - and what you're actually struggling with is the uncertainty, fear, or other people's reactions that might come with honoring it. In this episode of Your Yes Filled Life, I'm sharing one of my own experiences of knowing what I wanted long before I trusted myself enough to fully choose it. We'll also talk about why this can be especially complicated for empaths, who are often taking in everyone else's feelings, preferences, and reactions alongside their own. You'll learn how to distinguish between “I don't know what to do” and “I know, but taking action feels hard,” why discomfort doesn't automatically mean you're making the wrong decision, and a simple practice for separating what you know from what you're afraid of. You can work on every physical root cause of Long COVID and still feel stuck. What if part of what's holding you back isn't physical at all? If you've been working on the physical side of Long COVID for a while and something still feels stuck, this conversation might land differently. Julie Ryan is a medical intuitive who has worked with thousands of people, many of them dealing with Long COVID. She sees the body in a way most of us have never considered, and after all those years one pattern stands out to her: there is always an emotional component in place before an illness sets in. The physical work still matters. But if you're carrying an emotional block, she says, your body can't run on full power. Julie Ryan is not a physician and this episode is not medical advice. It's a conversation about a different way of looking at the body and the energy around it, so you can decide what resonates with you. In this episode, you'll learn: Why Julie says there is always an emotional component in place before any illness sets in, and what that means for Long COVID and chronic fatigue The "energy field membrane" analogy: how an old emotional event, from this life or a past one, can leave your body leaking power How Julie describes scanning a body like a human MRI, why she always goes in blind first, and what an energetic healing looks like from the client's side Why she sees energy healing as part of the same healing equation as Western medicine, from radiologists and EKGs to the more than 800 US hospitals with energy healing departments What Western testing can miss, from mold to EMFs, and the story of a 30-year-old client with osteoporosis Guest: Julie Ryan is an author, entrepreneur, podcaster, and medical intuitive whose work explores health, spirituality, animals, and life transitions. Listen to their discussion in episode 2 of The Early-Career Researcher's Playbook, an AJR Podcast Series. https://www.ajronline.org/doi/10.2214/AJR.26.35769 *Key Takeaways Questioning the Routine: Meaningful research often begins by simply asking "why" established practices exist. For example, questioning the necessity of a non-contrast series prior to contrast media administration when looking for abdominal hemorrhage may lead to a publishable study.   The Prospective Shift: Retrospective research may be limited by biased intuitions and imperfect hypotheses. The specialty should move toward prospective models, carefully considering the clinical impact and cost-effectiveness of potential interventions.   The "Tool-First" Trap: Pushed by a publish-or-perish academic culture, researchers may make the mistake of starting with an AI model or radiomics pipeline and then searching for a problem to which to apply it. True clinical impact more likely comes with starting with the patient problem and finding the appropriate method to solve it.   Combating Confirmation Bias: When researchers firmly believe their own clinical intuition, they risk designing studies solely to confirm their preconceived notions. To maintain scientific credibility, you should assign a colleague the specific role of opposing your views to actively try and prove your hypothesis wrong.  *Chapters 0:00 - Introduction 2:07 - What Clinical Intuition Means 6:47 - Daniel's Routine to Research 9:23 - Ideas Hiding in Workflow 11:32 - From Observation to Study Plan 14:28 - Marco's Prospective CT Example 18:26 - Avoiding Confirmation Bias 23:20 - AI Tool First Trap 29:53 - Quick Fire Takeaways 33:34 - Final Advice and Closing Follow AJR on Social Media LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/ajr-radiology/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfFAYezkLMxJGMgIJLN0Dpg Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ajr_radiology/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@ajr_radiology X: https://x.com/AJR_Radiology BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/ajrradiology.bsky.social Threads: https://www.threads.com/@ajr_radiology *These sections were generated using artificial intelligence (Descript and Google Gemini) and then reviewed for accuracy.

Doug Bytes synthesizes insights from 200 interviews with scientists, soldiers, and athletes. Modern men lose touch with inner signals due to modern lifestyle shifts. This episode breaks down practical steps to rebuild self-trust and spot daily signs.  Core Concepts 1. Practice inner awareness. Society rewards analytical problem-solving over quiet self-reflection.  2. Distinguish fear from instinct. Fear screams loudly. Intuition communicates quietly and persistently.  3. Change physical inputs. Cleaner food choices help tune internal perception.  4. Test small decisions. Ask your body how choices feel before taking action.  5. Track daily synchronicities. Notice unusual events like repeating natural patterns.  Connect with Doug Beitz: Email: info@dougbeitz.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dougbeitz/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dougbeitz/ Website: https://buymeacoffee.com/dougbeitz Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/6mQ258nugC3lyw3SpvYuoK?si=7cec409527d34438 Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/intuitive-conversations-with-doug/id1593172364 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/doug-beitz-472a4b338/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dougbeitz178

Why do organizations say innovation is mission-critical, then create conditions that make innovation almost impossible?Fiona Stevenson has spent her career on both sides of that problem. After 12 years at Procter & Gamble, she co-founded The Idea Suite, an innovation consultancy that has worked across hundreds of innovation projects. She is also the co-author of Built for Breakthrough: Why Innovation Fails and How Smart Leaders Get It Right. In this conversation, Fiona joins Marc and Vassilis to unpack why innovation usually fails long before the idea itself is tested. They explore the famous Febreze story and why understanding the actual consumer problem changed the brand's trajectory, before getting into the organizational conditions required for innovation to survive.Fiona explains why big innovation ambitions often collide with tiny budgets, part-time teams and unrealistic timelines; why past data can become dangerous when designing for the future; and why innovators need to build evidence instead of waiting for certainty. The conversation also covers Fiona's six-stage innovation framework:Identify → Insights → Inspiration → Ideation → Iteration → ImplementationAnd perhaps a seventh: Intuition.Plus:Why “we should…” is not an ideaWhy “How might we?” is such a powerful innovation questionHow AI is dramatically lowering the cost of prototypingWhy AI should be an input, not the final outputHow implementation destroys good ideas through “death by a thousand cuts”Why innovation needs dedicated time, not calendar scrapsHow to create an innovation charterWhy the best first step is simply defining the problem properlyIf your organization wants innovation but struggles to actually get ideas into market, this episode is for you.Enjoy the show!Chapters:00:00 Why Innovation Dies Before the Whiteboard01:36 Meet Fiona Stevenson02:16 From P&G to Innovation Consulting04:07 Moving From Client Side to Consulting05:41 The Febreze Innovation Story09:09 Why Consumer Understanding Comes First10:59 What Is Innovation, Really?13:02 The Uber Opportunity Fiona Turned Down14:24 Different Types of Innovation16:23 Big Innovation Ambitions vs. Organizational Reality17:44 Why Stakeholder Alignment Matters20:16 The Innovation Charter21:24 Fear and the Unknown22:00 Why Past Data Can Mislead Innovation23:48 Why Great Marketers Can Struggle With Innovation25:29 Getting Innovation Out the Door27:24 The Future Has No Data28:04 Challenging Assumptions With First Principles30:00 AI as a Tool for Building Evidence32:00 AI, Prototyping and Creative Potential32:51 AI Should Be an Input, Not the Output34:15 “We Should” Is Not an Idea36:03 Why “How Might We?” Changes the Conversation37:39 Fiona's Six I's of Innovation39:09 Insights, Inspiration & Ideation40:28 Why Iteration Matters41:53 Implementation and Death by a Thousand Cuts42:18 Protecting the Idea's DNA42:45 Is Intuition the Seventh I?45:05 Why Skipping Steps Kills Innovation47:06 The Most Undervalued Stage48:49 How Innovation Survives Budget Pressure50:17 Why Innovation Can't Be a Side Job51:39 What to Do Monday Morning53:48 Why Innovation Needs Champions54:26 It's Never Too Late to Redefine the Problem55:41 Built for Breakthrough Resources56:11 Where to Find FionaLink to the book:Built for Breakthrough - https://www.builtforbreakthrough.com/

Dear Friends, In this episode of Gateways to Awakening, I sit down with my new friend, David Lorimer, writer, poet, philosopher, Programme Director of the Scientific and Medical Network, and Chair of the Galileo Commission. We recently met in the South of France, while I was on Dr. Nicola Amadora's Mary Magdalene tour. For decades, David has been at the forefront of conversations exploring consciousness, science, spirituality, near-death experiences, and the deeper nature of reality. We begin with David's lifelong “quest for wisdom” and why true wisdom cannot be separated from love, compassion, discernment, and direct experience. We also dive into the research surrounding near-death experiences, survival of consciousness, and the possibility that death is not an ending, but a transition into another mode of consciousness. David shares decades of experience studying these phenomena and the recurring patterns reported by people who have come close to death.“We have to wake up, and we have to try to use our lives to contribute to the larger common good, and to grow in love and wisdom.”— David LorimerKey Takeaways- Wisdom is more than knowledge. True wisdom integrates discernment and deeper understanding with love and compassion.- Intuition is fundamental to discovery. Major scientific breakthroughs often begin with intuitive insight before the analytical mind works out the science.- Our current scientific understanding of consciousness may be incomplete, opening the door to a much larger exploration of the nature of mind and reality.- Death may be a transition rather than an ending. Near-death experiences show striking recurring patterns, including peace, out-of-body experiences, beings of light, and life reviews.- We may be expressions of one consciousness, raising profound questions about interconnectedness and the nature of the self.- The mind and heart need to develop together. Intellectual or spiritual knowledge alone does not necessarily create an integrated human being.- Mary Magdalene offers another lens on the Divine Feminine and the integration of sacred masculine and feminine principles. Our lives can serve something larger. The invitation is to wake up, expand our consciousness, contribute to the common good, and continue growing in love and wisdom.Thank you for listening! We're now opening a private Community membership for those interested in processing the podcast and joining live monthly calls to discuss the content. Learn more here. If this episode resonates with you, you may also enjoy Yasmeen's work through the Inner Knowing School, where she teaches intuition, energetic mastery, multidimensional awareness, and nervous system regulation through private immersions and executive cohorts. You can also explore Yasmeen's latest book, A Glitch in the Matrix: 10 Energy Codes to Become the Main Character of Your Life, available on Audible, Kindle, and in print. What if there is no "right" way to do IVF—only the way that is right for you?IVF can be an incredibly information-heavy experience. There are protocols to understand, decisions to make, statistics to consider, doctors to listen to, opinions to navigate, and endless possibilities to research. But somewhere in all that information, many women lose touch with the most important voice in the room: Their own.In this episode I'm joined by my friend Elena Lipson, an intuition and self-trust coach, for a deeply meaningful conversation about what it means to trust yourself during IVF.We explore the question so many women quietly ask:"How do I know what's right for me?"Elena offers a beautiful reframe: rather than searching for the universally "right" or "wrong" decision, we can learn to develop our own inner authority—the ability to take in information, listen to ourselves, and make choices that feel aligned with our individual path. And this is especially powerful during IVF, when the stakes can feel enormous. In This Episode, We Talk About:·      Why IVF can make it so difficult to trust yourself·      The difference between "What is right?" and "What is right for me?"·      How to recognize your intuition·      Why stress can disconnect you from your intuition·      The pressure to "get IVF right"·      The power of slowing down·      Why self-trust doesn't mean doing it aloneOne of my favorite parts of this conversation is our reminder that trusting yourself doesn't mean becoming an island. We need support, loving people, and a team that can help us carry what feels heavy. Elena's Bio: Elena Lipson is an intuition and self-trust coach who helps women reconnect with their inner knowing and make decisions from a place of greater alignment and self-trust.She hosts The Intuitive Life Podcast and offers tools, coaching, and resources designed to help women strengthen their relationship with intuition. You can find Elena on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/elena_lipson/and explore her work through her podcast and website https://elenalipson.com/CONNECT with Lisa & get IVF COACHING SUPPORTBOOK a complimentary CALL BOOK: ‘HOLD ON, BABY! Join us as we explore the worldwide phenomenon behind the revival of Homer's 3000-year-old story, the kaleidoscopic and hallucinogenic return of Odysseus to Ithaka, the Greek island that has become an icon for home itself. There is the immense beauty of the poem itself and the historical importance of Homer's accomplishment, but what does the story mean to us now, how can it help illuminate the chaos of our lives today? Composed by the Poet Known as Homer, around 650 BC, it was based on a story about the Trojan War that was already hundreds of years old. Since then, the story about the hallucinogenic adventures of Odysseus, his son Telemachus, and wife Penelope have cast a spell over cultures around the world, haunting poets, playwrights and philosophers, and taunting the efforts of archaeologists, linguists and now filmmakers to render it in modern terms. Our conversation will explore the myriad life lessons of Homer's masterpiece that have inspired readers, listeners and now viewers for millennia, with a focus on the central theme of the nostoi, the return stories of ancient Greek soldiers, adventurers, philosophers and scientists coming home, and the wider question of what home meant to the ancients—and what home means to us now, the most rootless people in recorded history. Along the way, we will have an animated exchange about the wide range of translations, from Alexander Pope, T. E. Lawrence, and E. V. Rieu, to Richard Lattimore, Emily Wilson and Daniel Mendelosohn. Finally, we will playfully review the myriad movie versions, from George Melies' four-minute version in 1905, to the 1956 Ulysses with Kirk Douglas, and the freshly minted Odyssey helmed by Christopher Nolan.   Finally, there is the surprising realization that it is five female characters (Penelope, Athena, Calypso, Circe and Nausicaa) who helped guide Odysseus homeward, and the centuries-long influence on art, literature and cinema. Join us for a celebration of the soul-saving power of this ancient Greek tale, which sings of the aftermath of a savage war and the restoration of our hero's home, all the while insisting on need to say “yes” to life.  About the Speaker Phil Cousineau is the author of The Wisdom of the Odyssey and over 40 other books, including the bestselling The Art of Pilgrimage, and The Hero's Journey: Joseph Campbell on His Life and Work. Is it intuition or a trauma response? Former US intelligence analyst Erin Gunzelman has spent six years testing that question on herself — trusting her body 100% of the time and treating reality as a mirror — and shares what happened when she stopped ignoring the signs.Erin grew up on Maryland's Eastern Shore, built pattern-recognition software in the intelligence community, and walked away when chronic pain — what Western medicine calls endometriosis — forced her to listen to her body. A yoga teacher training in 2018 opened the door; a divorce and the shutdowns of 2020 emptied everything else out. Empaths are often incredibly good at understanding everyone else. But how much of that empathy are you giving yourself? In this episode of Your Yes Filled Life, Brenda sits down with psychiatrist, bestselling author, and empath expert Dr. Judith Orloff for a conversation about empathy, boundaries, intuition, self-trust, and the importance of self-empathy. Because caring deeply about other people doesn't require abandoning yourself. Brenda and Dr. Judith Orloff - known as the Godmother of the Empath Movement, explore what it means to experience the world as an empath, why boundaries matter, how sensitive people can work with their nervous systems, and what changes when you begin extending some of the compassion you so readily offer other people toward yourself. What if the thing you thought was a delay was actually a miracle? In this powerful episode, Bart Merrill shares an extraordinary true-life story about amputation, intuition, divine timing, and a series of seemingly small decisions that ultimately protected both him and his wife.Bart had already endured 12 years of excruciating pain after a devastating accident left him with a severely damaged ankle. Eventually, his ankle bone deteriorated to the point where there was nothing left to fuse, and doctors told him that amputation was likely his best option. But Bart's most remarkable story isn't simply about losing his leg. It's about timing. And what happened when he listened to the feeling that told him, not yet.Bart Merrill's Miracle Story: The Power of Divine TimingBart originally scheduled his leg amputation for November 2023. Then, for several reasons—including concerns about the holidays, recovery, and insurance—he decided to postpone the surgery. He eventually rescheduled. And then something happened that changed everything. When a Delay Becomes a MiracleBart's story raises a fascinating question: Can intuition tell us when the timing of something is wrong? He had practical reasons for postponing his surgery. Frequency Keys: Exploring Resonance from the Body to the Soul The Sound Healing Center and Its Programs The episode begins with a promotional overview of the Sound Healing Center and its related organizations, including the Globe Institute, Sound Healing Store, Sound Therapy Center, Sound Healing Research Foundation, Medical Sound Association, and Sound Education Association. The introduction describes certificate programs in Sound Healing and audio recording, a physical and online educational presence, hundreds of instruments and sound technologies, research materials, therapeutic resources, and vibroacoustic equipment. It also highlights dementia-related protocols, treatment plans, educational curricula for children, and several websites through which listeners can learn more. David Gibson then introduces upcoming sound baths, open houses, certificate programs, online classes, and recording courses. The institutional material establishes the broader context for the episode: sound is presented not only as music but as a tool for education, relaxation, research, therapy, and personal exploration. Where Frequencies Come From David Gibson frames frequencies as “keys” capable of opening different physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual doors. He begins with the broad distinction that high frequencies tend to activate the mind while low frequencies tend to calm the body, then describes several ways people derive or identify frequencies. These include numerology, scientifically measured vibration, mathematical formulas, and intuitive methods such as muscle testing or pendulum work. He discusses Solfeggio frequencies, planetary frequencies, the Schumann resonance, tuning forks, tone generators, and the use of numbers such as 111 and 432. Gibson repeatedly distinguishes between methods that have clear physical measurements and those based on symbolism, numerology, intuition, or spiritual interpretation. His central point is that frequencies come from many different systems, and listeners should understand where a claimed frequency came from before assuming it has a particular meaning or effect. Learning Frequencies Through the Body A substantial section of the program becomes an experiential tour through audible frequencies. Gibson plays or describes frequencies beginning around 40 hertz and progressing through 45, 100, 111, 136.102, 200, 250, 300, several Solfeggio frequencies, 432, 528, 639, 741, 852, 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000 hertz. He encourages listeners to sing along where possible and notice where each tone resonates in the body. Along the way, he recounts claims and anecdotes involving bone density, cat purrs, hummingbirds, migraines, sacred sites, chakras, the Great Pyramid, water patterns, babies' cries, the Sun, DNA, intuition, and speech intelligibility. Gibson emphasizes that some of these associations are scientific, some symbolic, some anecdotal, and some intuitive. His practical goal is for listeners to stop thinking of frequency only as an abstract number and begin recognizing how different ranges feel physically. The Problem With Healing-Frequency Lists Gibson then turns to one of the episode's most skeptical themes: the lack of agreement among lists that claim particular frequencies for organs, illnesses, vitamins, minerals, or therapeutic effects. He discusses frequency work attributed to Peter Guy Manners, Rife-related frequency lists, GreatDreams.com, Electro-Herbalism.com, and other collections of proposed therapeutic frequencies. Although Gibson believes frequency can be useful, he repeatedly questions how specific numbers were derived, whether the methods involved scientific study, intuition, muscle testing, or only a small number of subjects, and why different sources often disagree dramatically. He argues that organs such as the heart contain many different kinds of vibration, including mechanical, cellular, atomic, electromagnetic, photon, and what he calls quantum or emotional frequencies. Because every person and every biological level may vary, he says a single universal number for an organ or condition may be an oversimplification. Research, Measurement, and the Need for Better Evidence The episode develops this skepticism into a broader discussion of research design. Gibson argues that identifying the “best” frequency for a condition is extraordinarily difficult because researchers would have to compare enormous numbers of possible sound, electromagnetic, light, and other frequencies. He discusses claims associated with Anthony Holland, cancer frequencies, 528 hertz, pollution research, and various frequency devices while cautioning that showing one frequency has an effect does not prove it is uniquely or optimally suited to that target. Gibson proposes that pure frequencies may often seem beneficial simply because they provide stable, consistent vibration rather than chaos or irregularity. He says stronger evidence would come from testing devices or techniques across hundreds or thousands of people and measuring the percentage helped for a specific condition. Ultimately, he envisions individualized measurement capable of identifying a person's own frequencies rather than relying entirely on generalized charts. Intuition, Personal Resonance, and the Frequency of Source The final section moves from research back into experiential and spiritual territory. Gibson guides listeners through an exercise in which they focus on an uncomfortable area of the body, intuitively search for a tone associated with its healthier state, and then silently “send” that frequency to the area through breath and visualization. He describes personal frequencies associated with heart rate, brainwaves, respiration, metabolism, the soul, love, the universe, and ultimately Source. Gibson says peace and stillness make intuitive perception easier and compares the process to a shaman listening for the song of a plant. He closes by asking whether Source, if understood as containing all frequencies, might nevertheless possess a fundamental “home note,” while also recognizing the interplay of order and chaos throughout the universe. His final message is that individual frequencies are only one layer of a larger matrix that also includes relationships and flows among bodies, emotions, souls, planets, and the universe as a whole. Hey, Family Brand community! We're trying something new on the podcast this week—new chairs, a new setup, and a conversation that started with something Chris wasn't actually planning to do. A couple of months ago, Chris got a new phone and, when he was setting everything back up, decided not to reinstall social media. There wasn't some dramatic social media detox or big declaration behind it. He just felt like he shouldn't put it back on his phone. What happened next surprised both of us. Chris started noticing that he felt more present—with me, with our kids, with his team, and even with himself. Then he took the experiment a little further. One Saturday, knowing he'd be spending hours doing tractor work, he intentionally left his headphones behind. No podcast. No music. No inspirational content. Just a few hours alone with his thoughts. And strangely enough, that felt uncomfortable at first. It made us wonder: when did being alone with our own thoughts become something we needed to avoid? That question led us somewhere much bigger. We both love books, podcasts, coaches, mentors, and personal development, and they've absolutely changed our lives. But Chris realized that some of the most profound ideas and breakthroughs he's ever experienced didn't actually come from someone else. They came during the times when he slowed down enough to ponder, pray, ask questions, and listen. Melissa has been experiencing something similar while preparing for an upcoming talk at church. By intentionally creating more quiet instead of immediately filling every empty moment with another audiobook or piece of content, ideas and clarity have started coming naturally. It made us wonder: what if the wisdom and inspiration we're constantly searching for is more available to us than we realize? And in today's world, this conversation feels especially important. We can outsource our thinking to influencers, podcasts, experts, social media, and now even AI. Those tools can be incredibly useful—we use them too—but they can't replace your own intelligence, intuition, faith, or understanding of your unique life. Sometimes asking someone else to tell us what to do is simply easier than doing the uncomfortable work of getting clear about what we actually want. Maybe we don't always need another answer. Maybe we need enough silence to hear the answer that's already trying to get through. So we're leaving you with a challenge this week: choose one time when you'd normally reach for stimulation—driving, working out, doing chores, or sitting down at the end of the day—and don't. Skip the podcast. Leave the music off. Put the phone away. Bring one of those questions that's been sitting in the back of your mind and give yourself enough stillness to actually think about it. Pray, ponder, listen, or simply sit with your thoughts and see what comes up. You might be surprised by what you already know. Hit play to hear the full conversation! P.S. The promised land of intimacy is not a quiet house. It is a payout. You walk in looking for the land of milk and honey embodied within a person. Someone to end the wandering. Someone to cash the check the first house bounced. Metaphorically speaking, Egypt is or was that first house. First deep love and first fracture in the same hands. Parental potters, works in progress, missing chances to love on you and tend what you needed. You loved them and quietly loathed them in the same breath. You lowered the price of being shaped. The labor was the cost of the strategy you had to develop, which let you keep the love for the parental potter's hands while surviving the mess their brokenness created within the environment and within your chest. Canaan is the fantasy that one later body will be the exodus. Disney named it happily ever after. Spacious. Sweet. Rest from that labor. Needs that no longer have to go on sale. No more exposure. No more self-knowledge. Happily ever after shirks the responsibility of a holographic relational environment. That environment is a crucible. Psychological nudity. Being known without a costume. The credits roll so you never have to stand in that. Inheritance, as if a vow sworn to a people could be performed by a spouse. You call that chemistry, destiny, finally. Intuition says I can rest now. Ask which climate trained that rest. The potter's house or here. Authority sold you settlement as love, then sold you the ending. Reason says one finite person cannot flow with milk and honey on command, and cannot cancel the crucible. Canaan in a couple is destination-logic, not peace-logic. In the text the land is sworn possession, deliverance into fruit after barrenness, pasture after scarcity, rest from war. Cities you did not build. Wells you did not dig. Vineyards you did not plant. Eat, be full, do not forget. That cargo gets dropped on a lover and renamed happily ever after. They will see you so the first invisibility dies. They will stay so the first leaving gets reversed. They will tend what the first potters missed. Conflict then feels like eviction from the land. Ordinary human limit feels like exile, like having to raise the price of yourself again. Peace becomes a product you buy with silence, sex, image, or church. You were not relating. You were occupying. The land already had people in it. Promise arrives with contest. Spies taste the fruit and still panic at the giants. Watch what you do after closeness. That is the empirical test. Do you soften into here, or do you scan for proof the giants are gone, the old quota is canceled, and the story has finally gone to credits. Their actual life becomes what must be driven out so your hunger can settle. A healthy bond is the anti-promised land because it refuses to hire one nervous system to finish the potter's job and refuses to play happily ever after with a human being. Presence is not a refund for Egypt. Relating is not collection for missed tending. Happily ever after is how the mask avoids psychological nudity. A kiss cannot annex a past. A vow cannot unwrite a childhood. The vows you can keep are smaller and harder. Tell the truth. Do not vanish. Do not turn their life into your territory. Stay in the exposure. Stay in the crucible. Covenant in the book can be lost. Exile sits in the same library as milk and honey. So can the marriage that was asked to be Canaan. The mask that will fight this hour is simple. I am the one who is owed rest from the labor of being shaped. I am the one who is owed a land that flows and a story that ends. If I drop that, I do not know who I am. Name one result that would change your mind. If you cannot, you are not inquiring. You are defending the deed. Are you with them in this room, or are you occupying them as the last Canaan that might still make you whole, waiting for them to keep a promise they never made, in a land they are not.

Denee Francese-Smith LMT is a student of the body. All of it. The physical, the emotional, the spiritual. During our conversation, Denee shares the prelude to listening deeply to her body, when she followed its lead and pivoted from a career in education to taking a big leap in opening up the popular and beloved Sissy's cafe with, yes, her sister Shani in Uptown Kingston, NY. She talks about the passion, the business, and the eventual decision to step away from it to pursue what her body was next calling her to. She is fascinated by the intersection of spirit and science and loves to explore that through her bodywork. Denee doesn't see the body as separate parts. She sees it as one whole, beautiful system. When you work on one area, something else shifts too. When you're on her table, Denee is not only thinking about muscles. she's paying attention to your breath. Your nervous system. The way you hold yourself. The patterns that have formed over time. You're muscles will soften, but something else softens too. Her work is about helping your body create space. Space in the tissues. Space in your chest. Space in your system. And from that spaciousness, you will move differently, grounded and with an open heart. Denee shares openly and honestly about her experience in moving through the challenges of letting go, and how she found her voice after the ending of her most recent relationship. We hear about how intuition guides her and how she learned to listen to it. She shares generously her experience with and knowledge of the body and how it relates to her work, what fascia is, its connection to our life's experiences, and the power of breath work to help move what the fascia holds. Send us Fan MailIf your nervous system tightens the moment you open social media, you are not alone and you are not broken. I'm Rachel Garrett, and this Spiritual Spotlight quick tip is a reset for anyone who feels flooded by spiritual content, other people's opinions, and the constant hum of collective anxiety. The practice is simple, but it's one of the strongest tools I know for clear intuition: pause and ask, “Is this mine or is it noise?”We talk about what spiritual discernment really looks like in daily life. It's not closing yourself off, and it's not handing your power to the loudest voice online. It's learning to notice what brings you back to love instead of fear, what supports your sovereignty instead of dependence, and what feels grounded instead of pressured. If you've ever seen a scary “sign” and felt like you needed to change everything immediately, this will help you separate urgency from true guidance. This is especially for empaths, intuitive people, and sensitive folks who walk into a room and feel the emotional weather. Not everything you feel belongs to you, and that one truth can change how you move through relationships, work, and your own inner world. We close with a short set of questions you can use anytime you feel heavy, anxious, or confused, so you can get quiet enough to hear yourself again. If this helps, subscribe, share it with a friend who's been overwhelmed, and leave a review so more people can find the practice.Support the showSpiritual Spotlight Series is hosted by Rachel Garrett, RN, CCH — Akashic Records Practitioner, Master Energy Healer, and Certified Crystal Healer.Conversations about the things we almost don't say out loud. When Magic Stops Being a Theory Somewhere between 38 and 50, most of us get hit by something we never saw coming. You feel like a stranger in your own life. You're crying in the grocery store parking lot and you don't know why. Everyone tells you to expect the truck that hits you in midlife. Nobody warns you about what comes through the hole it makes. This week I'm introducing a word I made up because we need it. midstery (MID-stuh-ree), noun. Midlife, mystery. A midstery is when magic stops being just a theory. Something magical happens in your own life, it stops being a thing that happens to other people, and you start running toward it, fascinated. Each one permanently widens what you're able to notice. Enough of them add up to an awakening. And they almost never show up on a retreat in Sedona. They show up while you're loading the dishwasher. In this episode: Why busyness is the most rewarded numbing agent we have, and what it's covering up What happens somewhere between 38 and 50 that nobody prepares you for Midstery: the word for what comes after the truck Why the women in your life don't think they have intuition, and the history that taught them that What your brain does with the eleven million pieces of information your senses hand it every second Why federal agents are worse at spotting a liar than you are My theory about why true crime is a woman's genre One small thing to do this week that will make it very hard to keep calling yourself unintuitive Chapters: 00:00 Purpose and Pain 00:55 The Busy Trap 02:38 Midstery 07:41 Intuition and Evidence 14:03 Practice Your Intuition Doing the case file? Jonny Miller on Nervous System Mastery, Grief, and Why High Performers Can't Afford to Stay Stuck in Their Heads Your nervous system is running every decision, relationship, and reaction in your life, and you won't notice how much it's costing you until something breaks. This episode gives you the exact framework for building real nervous system mastery instead of running on autopilot until it fails. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Host Dave Asprey sits down with Jonny Miller, host of the Inner Frontier Podcast and founder of Nervous System Mastery, who has taught more than 1,000 people how to build the skills of interoception, self-regulation, and emotional fluidity. A former Silicon Valley founder turned nervous system expert, Jonny brings a rare mix of rational, data-driven thinking and deep somatic work to a field most high performers avoid entirely. They break down why interoception, self-regulation, and emotional fluidity are the three learnable skills behind every major shift in performance, relationships, and decision-making, and why most high achievers have spent their whole lives disconnected from what's happening below the neck. Jonny introduces the half-life of reactivity, his framework for measuring how quickly someone can move from triggered back to calm, and explains how free diving became his gateway into surrender, breath work, and pressure equalization as a form of high-stakes meditation. Dave shares his own parallel journey through nervous system work, including lessons from running 40 Years of Zen and a costly business betrayal that reshaped how he reads people. Dave and Jonny also open up about grief, including Jonny's experience losing his fiancée and later his mother, and how community and co-regulation shape how fast someone actually heals. You'll Learn: Why interoception, self-regulation, and emotional fluidity are the three core skills behind nervous system mastery What the half-life of reactivity is and how to use it to measure real emotional progress How free diving works as a form of high-stakes meditation and a direct feedback loop for unclenching Why congruence between your inner and outer state matters more than staying composed under pressure How team intuition can be used as a practical filter in high-stakes hiring decisions Why co-regulation with friends and community can dramatically shorten the grieving process What Jonny's Breath Buddy device is designed to teach kids and families about nervous system regulation Thank you to our sponsors! - MOD | Visit mod.com for a consultation and get 10% off your first order plus free shipping with promo code DAVE. - ZenBud | Dave's Nervous System Biohack. Jensen Huang. Steve Jobs. The other guy responsible for those aggressively ugly cars/the rebirth of conspiracy theory internet free speech. (Thanks Elon?) What do people like this see around the corner that the rest of us don't? Why do certain leaders recognize an emerging possibility years before everyone else catches up? Are they geniuses? Pattern-recognition freaks? Secret remote viewers? This week on Open Loops, Greg sits down with Tye Glover, innovation coach, author of The Perception Gap, and creator of Neuro Creative Programming (NCP)—a developing methodology designed to model the perceptual patterns of unusually creative thinkers and make those patterns more accessible to the rest of us. Because maybe creativity isn't simply about having better ideas. Maybe some people are literally noticing different realities. See that one over there? Made you look! This conversation becomes an experience in perception itself. Tye and Greg explore the filters determining what makes it into conscious awareness, what gets deleted before you ever notice it, and whether those filters can actually be trained. And then, surprise surprise, things get weird. Somehow, Tye stands directly in the middle of all of it, trying to take ideas that could easily disappear into the metaphysical abyss and turn them into something practical enough to use inside an office on Monday morning. You know....those empty buildings people used to hate themselves making money for someone else in together. It's trippy. It's surprisingly grounded.
