Mikael Lindnord is a Swedish former elite athlete, author, director, coach, lecturer and entrepreneur.Lindnord's career as an adventure racer started 1997 and lasted almost across two decades before he retired 2015. He was team captain for team Peak Performance and was the first team from Sweden to win an international ARWS event (Costa Rica 2010).Besides racing, Lindnord was race director for ARWS/Explore Sweden between 2004-2010 and ARWC 2006 in Sweden and Norway.His life took another turn when he gave some meatballs to a stray dog during the World Championships in 2014 in Ecuador. The stray dog followed Lindnord and the team the rest of the race and became famous as Arthur.
