After Ray is kidnapped by the Darhks, he has to team up with Nora to discover cold fusion (and avoid continued torture). Hilarity ensues as Nora and Ray get stranded in 1962 after confronting a younger, deadlier Damien and the elder Damien confronts himself to rescue them.   Synopsis   Wondering why all the dishes are still dirty, the Legends go about their morning not realizing Ray Palmer is no longer on the Waverider, until Gary plays a message from Ray. Apparently, Damien Darhk loves the Grateful Dead? Or not, he just wants to keep the Legends busy while he uses Ray to fix the fire totem.   They head to Upswipz so Ray has a lab and he reveals the only way to put the totem back together again is cold fusion, which doesn’t exist. Or does it? It seems Damien Darhk was hired to kill the scientist who invented cold fusion before anyone knew it even existed. Nora, eager to prove herself, convinces Damien to let her take Ray and recover the scientist. In true Dad fashion, Damien gives them a “curfew” and tells them to use “protection.” (Gross.)   In typical Legends fashion, Ray and Nora almost immediately break character. Unfortunately, the scientist calls out for help and shenanigans ensue. Hitman Darhk catches up with them and they jump onto a laundry truck to escape. They forge some papers and head for the border, but just as they are about to make it across, both Damien Darhks catch-up with them. Daddy Darhk, Nora, Ray and Dr. Vogel all escape, but Hitman Darhk follows them. He takes Nora prisoner after she argues with her father and storms off.   Daddy Darhk and Ray are having a heart-to-heart when the phone rings. Damien answers and hears a familiar voice. He offers an exchange: Nora for the scientist. Damien ties Ray up and rushes off to rescue his daughter. Unfortunately, Hitman Darhk gets the upper hand when he tosses Nora off the roof, forcing Daddy Darhk to wage a war on two fronts. Eventually, Hitman Darhk gets the upper hand and Nora, selflessly, tells her father to let her go and save himself. As she falls to her death, the Spirit totem activates and she flies up to save her father from himself.   Meanwhile, Ray escapes and joins the Darhks on the roof. He is too late to save Dr. Vogel, but he does manage to hang on to the doll concealing the secret of cold fusion. Nora confronts him and he shoots a hole in the Berlin wall to alert the Legends to his presence. Unfortunately, this anachronism is the straw that breaks the camel’s back and time begins to rip apart. Wally speeds to the roof to rescue Ray and acquire a souvenir from Damien.   In the closing scenes, Grodd returns to kills Director Bennett, Ray reveals he has the hots for Nora, and Rip issues an ominous, vague command to Gideon. Oh yeah, and Mallus is breaking free of his prison and taking over Nora’s body.   Extras   EW Recap of No Country for Old Dads Cupid Easter Egg at Upswipz Gotham City Jitters?   Contact Information If you want to join in the discussion, you can submit feedback via email to tomorowslegends@gmail.com. This week, we join the Legends in 1942, the year in which they were doomed to die as they team-up with the Justice Society of America. But before they join forces, the JSA captures the Legends in a battle where they show off their coordination and super powers. Our "team" just cannot keep up! The JSA deliberate how to best deal with the Legends, who at best belong in a mental institution according to their assessment, and refuse to believe their time travel story. Dr. Heywood reveals intimate details about Commander Steel, details only a very close family member would know, and we learn Dr. Heywood has met his own grandfather who died before he was born. The JSA release the Legends from their prison and they explain how and when they have met Rex Tyler. In flashback, Rex Tyler informs the team they will all die in 1942 and proceeds to vanish right before their eyes. Tyler has no recollection of this encounter because for him, in 1942, it hasn't happened yet.  We cut to Paris 1942 and see Eobard Thawne meeting with Herr Krieger to give him a super serum. His goal is to destroy the JSA and deliver America to Hitler on a silver platter. He is also searching for an amulet with mysterious powers. In a less then democratic fashion, Dr. Stein is named captain of the Legends and the team decide how best to continue on their mission of preventing aberrations. Sara tries to kick Dr. Heywood off the team, but they discover his dog tags have disappeared and the JSA is in mortal danger. They return to 1942 to save the JSA. Dr. Stein goes undercover as Max Lorenz, a famous Austrian singer, and treats us to a rendition of Edelweiss. Meanwhile, the team is working to procure intel on the whereabouts of the amulet. After Ray refuses to salute Hitler, a brawl ensues and the rest of the JSA come to the rescue.  After convincing the JSA they need their help, our Legends track down the convoy carrying the amulet. During the battle, Ray and Vixen are captured by Herr Krieger. As Sara and Rex deliberate on the best way to complete the mission, Ray comes up with a plan to free himself and Vixen with a microscope. The JSA and the Legends work together to recover Ray and Vixen and return to the Waverider. As they are heading back, Dr. Heywood and Commander Steel encounter a bomb and Dr. Heywood is critically injured. Ray saves the day when he injects Dr. Heywood with an improved version of the super serum, saving his life. The JSA and the Legends say their goodbyes and our team leaves 1942.  In the closing scene, we see Rex Tyler stowing the amulet for safekeeping. Eobard Thawne speeds into their lair and kills Rex Tyler to prevent him from warning the Legends not to return to 1942. He takes the amulet and Vixen finds Rex Tyler, dying, who tells her a time traveler has killed him.  Join in the discussion by sending feedback to sibercastfan@gmail.com. Follow us on Twitter @sibercast and join our Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/tomorrowslegends. The team is uneasy about having Savage aboard the Waverider and are eager to be rid of him. When they discover Savage has also been manipulating time, they plot a course to the Vanishing Point to turn him in and clear their own names. Our team members confront Savage one-by-one throughout the episode and seeds of mistrust are sown. Rory and Snart want to return to 2016 while Sara and Dr. Stein are prepared to stay with Rip and fight. After their confrontation with the Leviathan, the Waverider has suffered a lot of damage and the time drive is taxed from super sizing Ray. The time drive gives out about halfway through their journey and Rip sends Jax to fix it, but an explosion of time radiation leaves him with irreversible damage. To save Jax, Dr. Stein sends him back through time to 2016 and forces the rest of the team to continue to the Vanishing Point with Rip. After Ray accidentally releases Savage, Rory, Snart, Ray and Kendra attempt to take down Carter and Savage. Carter emerges when Savage threatens Kendra and attacks him, allowing Kendra to finally gain the upper hand. Sara pilots the Waverider to the Vanishing Point where Rip presents Savage to the time council. In a surprising turn of events, the time council reveals they are in league with Savage and capture Rip and his team. Addie K. Martin is a self described "Swamp Cajun." As opposed to the "inland Cajuns" with the cochon propensities, Addie s Golden Meadow Cajuns are shrimpers and fishers. After graduating from the King of Cajun s Cooking School, aka Chef John Folse s Culinary Institute, Addie went on to work in restaurants till Katrina blew her plans in a different direction. She created advertisements at Peter Mayer for a bunch of years before returning to her passion for food. Addie stirred everything she d learned around the creative tables at the ad agency into her love of food and created Culicurious, a food blog and web based recipe development hub that centers on a healthy and seasonal kitchen table, and fun n hearty home dining experience. Somewhere in this time line, along came Twitter. The predictable next sentence in this tale would be how Addie was cleverly able to apply her ad agency smarts to Twitter to find a new market, but she actually used it to find a husband, Jeremy Martin. If you ve never heard anyone happily married say "We met on Twitter," that s just for openers. There are a lot of other firsts in Addie and Jeremy s romance as they tell it to Margo and Ray on this show. Among them, Ray declares their honeymoon is "the worst honeymoon story I ve ever heard." Addie and Jeremy are one of the cutest couples you ll ever meet and despite some couples reports of working together ripping them apart, working together on a book of the life, foods and secrets to the future of the earth hidden in South East Louisiana is an exercise in love and harmony for the Martins. They ve also discovered that anyone anywhere will reveal everything about themselves if you tell them you d like to talk to them because, "I m writing a book." After Ray is done with demolishing the Martins happy honeymoon and other tales, everything seems to be going so well for a little while in this show. Ray agrees with Addie when she says frozen entrees are the worst food imaginable, but then things take another horrible turn when Margo admits that she actually purchases and eats frozen entrees. Oh Ray may have fainted if it wasn t for the large plate of delicious deviled pimento cheese pastry bites that Addie brought, which everybody was able to devour; pimento cheese apparently having the healing property of returning some semblance of sanity to proceedings.
