Tomorrow's Legends

Hello Lantern Corps! Hal feels out of his depth and visits his mentor Sinestro for info on Manhunters.  What he gets is a warning to watch and sabotage John Stewart. Lianna tells John the Guardians are done with Hal. John needs to say the oath while wearing the ring to become the Green Lantern. Both men seem set against each other. But they still have a mission in Rushville. John finds Will's building at the center of his operation.  The Weenie, a Disney term for the center of everything that gets built around, is where they think the Manhunter is at.  After consulting Sheriff Kane, they make a nighttime move on the building. John gets the ring, pauses thinking about taking the oath, and then makes a tunneling machine.  The two men get to The Weenie and find no Manhunter, but a lot of advanced tech. Hal sets off an alarm and Will's guards take them out with darkness guns. They are taken to Will. He asserts his power over them. He forces John to draw him nude while Zoe and Hal watch. He tells them that he was dying and the doctors had given up on him, but not Zoe who was nursing him.  The Manhunter healed him. He makes Rushville crops grow, the kids healthy, and everyone for that matter. All that is asked in return is protection. Will tells them to leave town. Zoe comes to John at the hotel. After sleeping with him, she asks him to leave and he refuses. She says she does not owe Will. She healed him.  Revealing that she is the Manhunter. She leaves and is taken out by a satellite. Hal gets the satellite. John, Hal, and Sheriff Kane trace it back the Hector Hammond. At Hector's high tech/Manhunter tech slaughterhouse, they find Hector. He threatens John's family. Hal proves he is not the Manhunter. Hector says it is Will. On the way back, Hal and John hash things out. But in the end Hal listens to Sinestro's advice and sidelines John. Hello Lantern Corps! We have jumped onboard the Waverrider and followed the life of John Stewart and his family. They man has been raised like no other to be the man he is today. True to the comic origin, the ring visited several people before choosing Hal Jordan.  Here we learn that the ring visited John Sr. The fears of being there for his family and being a black man in society caused him to be passed over. His wife, Bernadette, does not believe him until Lianna shows up.  She is a Guardian in disguise. She offers a huge diamond in compensation for the loss of the ring. But her conversation with Bernadette helps her to learn why John Sr. has fear in his heart.  She hints that John Jr. could be a Lantern if raised right. Bernadette and John Sr. begin training John not to have fear.  He is separated from society and even his brothers. He is repeatedly tested by having apples shot off his head. He is dropped in the ghetto and must find his way home. He is told the birds are spies for the Guardians. Bernadette tries to communicate with the Guardians. John makes the mission his own. He follows his father into the Marine Corps and becomes an expert sniper. He spends 9 months on mission, only to have Hal Jordan ruin it.  He takes the blame on behave of the U.S. government and is dishonorably discharged. He is drifting until Bernadette enrolls him in art school. He has always had a talent for art and incredible skill. But it has taken a backseat to his training. At school he is approached by a Guardian in disguise and asked to draw the building from memory. He does it with the skill of a gifted artist and architect. He is then given a Green Lantern ring and asked to create his dad's watch. He creates a working copy. The interview really starts as he is portaled to an abandoned mall. He is forced to wait overnight by Lianna. She then questions him about his past, his mission that was ruined by Hal and much more. She finds in him the perfect candidate to replace Hal Jordan. They Lanterns can't control him and he is too close to Sinestro. Hello True Believers! It's that awful time again when our show comes to a season end. At least it's just a season end as we have two more seasons coming at least.... The finale of S2 continues the story through line of Rogue and Gambit, as the the teams all come to a head against each other in an epic final battle. Can she get through to him while Apocalypse has taken over? What will she have to sacrifice in order to save him? That ends up not even being her choice as someone else steps in to make the sacrifice for her......and we're left in shock and tears once again.... Hello Lantern Corps!  The action this week was between two towns instead of time periods. We had some mysteries answered but more questions raised. Join us as we cover Lanterns "Trust Fall." Hal rudely awakens Jon for a flying lesson.  The instructions are fly. John does not even move. But he creates a live bird construct from the ring. Hal has already booked him a plane ticket to Coast City to pick up the Lantern to charge the ring up. So all he really wanted to do was get John out of town. With John gone, he heads to main street finding everyone in a town hall. After a disagreement with Sheriff Kane, and a request to leave town from his lawyer, he heads to the morgue. He steals all the alien bodies.  He has found out that the metal detectors are really alien detectors. He does not listen to Sheriff Kane and questions Will about the tech and targeting aliens. He is told to leave town, but refuses and gets shot. He is taken to the hospital and questioned by Kerry after he wakes up from surgery. The hospital is brand new and has no other people there being treated. John is followed to Coast City and to Hal's mansion. A rich guy gave it to him for saving his son, but it is barely lived in. John recovers the lantern from the pocket dimension and feeds John's alien plant Earl. But he is kidnapped by the aliens. They are led by Antaan or is it Atrocitus the future Red Lantern. Their planet was devastated by Manhunters. Manhunters are shapeshifting robots made by the Guardians. After they failed, the Guardians moved to create the Lantern Corps. The aliens are in town because they believe Abin Sur had a Manhunter with him when he crashed. The believe he is hiding in town. They give John an ultimatum, let them know the identity of the Manhunter or they blow up the town. John reports all this to Hal. He also still has his bird construct with him. A feat that takes a lot of will power. Hal files to the Lantern prison to ask rebel Green Lantern, Sinestro, about the Manhunters. Hello Lanter Corps!  We have heard the call for help and landed in Rushville Nebraska.  It's a good thing the Waverrider can travel in time. Because it looks like there are mysteries in two different eras.  We are here to help the Lanterns with both! In 2016 veteran Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, is reluctantly training John Stewart.  John was chosen by the Guardians (leaders of the Lanterns) to be the next Green Lantern. This is not how it usually goes and Hal is not exactly happy. Hal is an Airforce vet and used to doing things on his on and in his own style.  John is a Marine Corps vet and son of a vet. He is used to structure and leadership.  Their training is interrupted when a mass casualty event brings them to Rushville. Hal knows that aliens are at the heart of the issue. But he must convince Sheriff Kane and John.  Aliens are there but so is a militia headed by Kane's father-in-law, Will Macon. We jump to 2026. John has been called by Sheriff Kane back to Rushville. It is Winter and a frozen and dead Hal Jordan is sitting in the football stands. He does not have his Lantern ring, and it has not gone to John. It's a trial of heart this week as we see Nightcrawler fighting for his half brother, Graydon Creed, during a trial against mutants on the island of Savage Land. This is a stand out episdoe for Kurt Wagner, as we being to understand what he's all about, and how strong his faith is, and what he's willing to do to give someone a second chance. Well Unlimited Leaguers we have come to the end of season 2 of Justice League Unlimited. We had a 2-part finale with Panic in the Skies and Divided We Fall. Then we closed the season with an Epilogue. Panic in the Skies see Galatea and the Ultimen sent by Cadmus to attack the Watchtower. It is an all-out battle with our core League members having surrendered to the Government. Steel & Supergirl are able to defeat Galatea but the League has no way to get to earth. Divided we fall see the core League members and Amada Waller turning on Lex. But they don't have a victory, because Brainiac takes him over fully. Brainiac & Lex take over the Darkhart tech, and it is a hard battle for our heroes. Flash is able to use the Speedforce to separate Lex and Brainiac. The League is able to pull him back from the Speedforce. Superman wants to disband the League. However Green Arrow and the world will not accept it. So they pledge to have an embassy and do better to serve not from above the world but in it. Epilogue serves as the series finale of Batman Beyond. It is set in the future beyond the events of Batman Beyond. Terry discovers he was not just Bruce's replacement but basically his son. In the time since the events of this season of JLU, Amanda grew to respect Batman and see the need that the world will always need Batman. She used Cadmus tech to infuse Terry's dad with Bruce's DNA. Bruce didn't know when he found and mentored Terry. Terry wants to quit but Amanda tells him about Batman's past with Ace and other facts. It's time for Polaris to shine like a green sun in the afternoon sky!! Wow, do we ever get a good look at who she is and what she is capable of, and it's fantastically awesome! We see Xavier struggling with his grief over the loss of Magnus, his best friend, and is using the danger room to help him work through it. But the danger room starts thinking on it's own, and seeing the constant failures, decides it needs to make things more difficult so the X-Men can survive in today's world of mutant haters. That self awareness and thought brings it to sentient life and it escapes the danger room in it's new cyborg like body! Proving to be a bit more than the team can handle, Xavier powers up Polaris with memories of how her father, Magneto, could control his strength, and that allows her to unleash her full power, stopping Danger...for now... It's an episode full of emotion, action, and tearful reunions, and a green star rejoining the team! It's a legit two parter this week! Lex Luthor continues his triple crossing schemes fooling Amanda Waller into thinking Cadmus is working with him, while also fooling the League that he is trying to help the world, and then also fooling the current president that they're all working together!  It's getting serious. Superman is losing his cool, as he's the only one that won't buy into Luthor's false words, and this time it gets out of control as he fights Captain Atom, who rejoined the air force! First in Clash, Captain Marvel gets himself in trouble as he can't keep his mouth shut, and he disagrees with Superman about Lex Luthor. It kicks off an all out brawl that decimates the city, that ends up in him quitting the League and the founding members have to look themselves in the mirror. Next in Hunter's Moon, Hawkgirl leads a mission to space, with Vixen and Vigilante in tow, and it's a facedown on who should actually lead, and who should actually date Green Lantern! Unlimited Leaguers we have two exciting episodes with small team-ups this week. Like Green Arrow, hold on tight because we are going to Tartarus and back. "The Balance" has the Greek gods sending Wonder Woman on a mission to save Hades from Felix Faust. Faust has tricked Tala and inhabited the Annihilator. He went to Tartarus to seek revenge on Hades. After chaining Hades up, he spends his time in the library learning all the dark magic from the books. Wonder Woman knows her weapons will not work. She tries to take Hawkgirl's mace. But ends up enlisting Hawkgirl to help. Before entering Tartarus, Diana's mother fully activates Wonder Woman's armor and lasso.  The 2 ladies make their way to Faust. They are whisked away by his magic. They free Hades and the three of them take down Faust. "Double Date" has the Huntress trying to take out Steven Mandragora. He was the man who killed her parents when she was young, as she watched from the closet.  But Manhunter had set it up as a test and she failed. He kicks her out of the League.  Before she goes, she offers to help The Question if he helps her. He knows she can't help him, but he likes her and wants to help. They track down Mandragora. He is in protective custody of the feds along with Green Arrow and Canary. Mandragora tricks the Arrow and Canary to try and hurt him and get thrown out. The feds are then taken down by Mandragora's thugs. He escapes to the docks. Question and Huntress head there but they are being followed by Arrow and Canary. At the docks, Mandragora is waiting for a ship. It holds his son, who was kidnapped and then rescued. Steven and his son were going to escape. He easily takes out Arrow and Question. Canary's cry shockingly barely phases him! Huntress gets the drop on him but can't kill him because of his son. In the end, she traps him until he can be taken away. The episode closes with Question and Huntress becoming a couple. The Justice League is up against Amanda Waller, her council of allies, and Taskforce X (a.k.a. The Suicide Squad) this week.  Waller is a planner and wants to protect the world from the League by any means. Batman and the League must examine themselves and their crew carefully. "The Doomsday Sanction" has a confrontation between Batman and Waller that leaves them both shaken. She and her allies are creating means of stopping the League to prevent what happened with the Justice Lords. In this process, they created Doomsday. The Justice Lord's Superman lobotomized Doomsday. But he has regenerated and is set free by Dr. Milo. Doomsday interrupts the League's rescue mission and fights Superman. Batman stops the Kryptonite nuclear bomb and Superman traps Doomsday in lava. The League sends him to the Phantom Zone. Batman is still leery of what the League can do. "Taskforce X" is Waller's Suicide Squad. All the members except for Flag are criminals freed from death row. They are forced into five years of service with an explosive implanted in their heads. Flag, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, the Clock King, and Plastique are tasked with getting abord the Watchtower. Once there, they are to blow the reactor to cause confusion and steal the Annihilator. The Clock King's plan goes well, until the Taskforce reaches the bridge level. Shining Knight, Vigilante, and Atom Smasher put up a fight that slows them down. Martian Manhunter almost has them, until Plastique threatens an unconscious Atom Smasher with a bomb in his mouth. Captain Atom helps but the Taskforce, minus Plastique, escape. They deliver the Annihilator to Waller. It is time to start Justice League Unlimited season 2. This season we are covering 2 eps at a time. Tonight it is "The Cat and The Canary" and "The Ties That Bind." Black Canary is on mission taking down bad guys, but her back-up, Wildcat is not there to help.  She finds out he is bored on the Watchtower and with training heroes.  He wants action. He has become addicted to the fight and the fame of cage fighting super villains. Canary enlists Green Arrow to help track Wildcat down and get him out. They begin their flirtatious dance that will lead to them being a couple. But the road is rocky.  Canary and Arrow find the fight den, but Canary must agree to fight Wildcat and win to get him to leave.  GA knocks her out and fights Wildcat. Wildcat seemingly kills Green Arrow. But it was a trick. Wildcat is snapped out of it and they take down the arena. In the second story Mister Miracle and Big Barta are working on a escape routine to make money. Granny Goodness steps in and takes their mentor Oberon to Apokolips. The husband-and-wife duo know they are not enough to bring Granny down. She wants to use them to win control of the planet from Vundabar.  They ask for help from the League but get shut down my Manhunter. Flash agrees to help the.  The 3 must navigate The Pitt, Granny's chamber of horrors for producing her warriors.  They free Kalibak and with Manhunter's help free Oberon. The Arrowverse ran from 2012-2024. It was the staple of comic book TV for many people. Even though characters were limited due to movies, we got so much character development. Unlimited Leaguers, we are going back in time! Forward as well. This really felt like an episode of Legends of Tomorrow. That is fine by us! Chronos is a henpecked scientist who creates a time traveling belt. He escapes his wife and continues to steal items, but a run-in with the League has him escape to the past. He lands in the Old West. His time belt is stolen byTobias Manning, who uses it to bring futuristic gear back in time and rule the territory. Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern team up with Bat Lash, El Diablo, Jonah Hex and Ohiyesa Smith to take Tobias down. But Chronos escapes and the League follows. They land in 2055. They are confronted by the Jokerz gang, but thankfully the future League is there to help.  Chronos has destroyed the watch tower and most of the heroes with it including Superman! The only members who are left are an Old Static Shock, Warhawk (son of Green Lantern and Hawkgirl), Future Batman (Terry McGinnis), and future Bruce. Our JLU learns from the future one. They devise a plan to get to Chronos. Time is collapsing. Wonder Woman disappears, John turns into Hal Jordan and back, and more. They must stop Chronos. After a battle with the Jokerz, several members are lost and are killed. Chronos escapes and Batman & Green Lanter follow. They stop him before he reaches the beginning of time. Time is reset and no one remembers but Bruce and John. Chronos is stuck in a time loop as punishment. Unlimited Leaguers it is time to "Wake The Dead!" Some teens are ready make their bullies pay. In trying to gain magical strength to better defend themselves, the chaos magic spell doesn't complete, and instead, Grundy is awoken once more! During is mindless rampage through the city, Green Lantern, Vixen, and Superman step in to stop him, but to little success. He is waaaay stronger than ever before, and not even Superman can slow him down.  Dr. Fate, Aquaman, Amazo and Hawkgirl arrive to assist them. Hoping to rely on her former friendship with Grundy, Hawkgirl tries to reach him to calm him down, but according to Dr. Fate, this is not the same Grundy, instead this is just a shell of him full of rage thanks to the chaos magic. As his rage and strength continue to grow, Dr. Fate discovers that Hawkgirl's Nth metal mace can disrupt the chaos magic and is the only thing that can stop Grundy. The decision is made that he must be stopped permanently, and she must make the killing blow. It's a tragic story once again, as this mercy kill is not easy for her, but it is all that he's ever wanted, the peace of death. This is an Omega Level Threat, and we need all our Unlimited Leaguers on deck to help. A spaceship has crashed in the desert. Metallic spiders and wolves are attacking the military and replicating themselves. The ship is growing and posing a major threat. Martian Manhunter turns the Watchtower into a space cannon to isolate the ship from the surrounding area, but it does not hold. Even the bulk of the League fighting is not stopping them. Superman gets The Atom for his help. He has to shrink down and find the heart of the ship. It has been programed to replicate, take over the world and move on. He cannot reprogram it or smash it. He must give it a heart attack to stop it. It works but the U. S. Military takes it to study. Make some room Unlimited Leaguers, it looks like we have a new team of heroes out there to help. The Ultimen are out in the world helping to save the day. But is there more to their story? Wind Dragon, Long Shadow, Juice, Downpour, and Shifter are young heroes managed by businessman and scientist Maxwell Lord. However, they are really a part of project Cadmus and under the control of Amanda Waller. The Ultimen are doing their own thing, and their agenda does not line up with the League all the time. Long Shadow wants to join the League, but the others are hesitant. Unfortunately they find out they are suffering cellular degeneration and don't have long to live. They are clones and Waller orders the backups ready to go. But Long Shadow overhears and the team plans a breakout. But Waller has already cleared the place out and there are no answers.  The League stops them from destroying the building and Long Shadow talks them into surrendering. He responds to STAR Labs where an energy project has gone wrong, and a scientist has become a walking black hole. With the help of Dr. Tracy Simmons, he can stand up and become the hero. He saves the world, Dr. Brown and Tracy. However, he gets no credit for his and Batman wants to talk with him about leaving his post. But he does get the girl. Hello Unlimited Leaguers! This week, we are seeing double. We have Supergirl versus her clone, Galatea, and the Emerald Archer, Green Arrow, is helping her out on this mission. We are also introduced to the conspiracy theorist and master detective, The Question, as he tags along this episode. In the past, Superman went rogue, which frightened the military and big business, so they developed a failsafe. They cloned Supergirl while she was in a coma from the battle to create Galatea. They sent Tea to take out a whistle-blowing scientist and General Hardcastle to eliminate any loose ends. Except Supergirl is seeing what Tea is doing in her dreams! Well, we can't have that, so the two women battle in a hologram training arena. The Question also confronts Galatea, and says the link works both ways. So, Supergirl's conscience is coming across that link, and Galatea wants to eliminate Supergirl to break the link. The Cabal orders the lab to be destroyed, and it appears that Galatea was destroyed with it. Our STAR Labs scientist, Dr. Hamilton, lies to Supergirl saying they didn't clone her. Unlimited Leaguers, this one has it all.  Dueling magicians, Wonder Woman as a pig, and Batman the crooner are all in this entertaining story! Circe has gotten out of her prison in hell and holds a big grudge against Diana's mom. She can't hurt her, but she can attack Diana. Batman & Wonder Woman are on a stakeout and try to catch Circe, but she transforms Diana into a pig. Batman contacts Zatanna, but her magic cannot counter the spell of the gods. While Batman & Zatanna search for Circe to get her to reverse the spell, Wonder Pig leads B'wana Beast and the League on a chase through town. She ends up at the slaughterhouse. She almost makes her escape, but she gets caught and is hogtied, facing certain slaugher. Batman and Zatanna find Circe out singing the sirens in Greece. They disrupt her show and the magic begins to fly on both sides. Batman calls a stop and offers a trade to reverse the spell. He sings "Am I Blue" and leaves the crowd in tears, including Circe and Zatanna. Unlimited Leaguers we are off to Funseyland but the cost of admission is our adulthood. Magic is in the air with Morgaine and Mordred seeking more power.  But Mordred has plans. He is tired of being under his mother's thumb and stuck being a kid. He casts a spell that transports all people older than him to a magical limbo dimension. Morgaine transforms the League members into kids and sends them out to stop Mordred. Mordred is in Funseyland where he rules the children and has made it his own. The Justice Kids arrive and must adapt to being kids in body and mind with powers. We get to see some fun interactions between Batman & Wonder Woman as she is crushing on him.  The team works together to get the kids out and then try to get the amulet away from Mordred. But he is too powerful. So they trick him to becoming an adult. The spell is broken and the adults return. Hello Unlimited Leaguers! We are flying off to the Fortress of Solitude. I hope we got Superman a good birthday gift. It is hard to compete with Wonder Woman's flower and Batman's money. What do you get the man who has everything? Batman and Wonder Woman are off to help Clark celebrate his birthday. Things do not go as planned. Superman is locked in the grip of the Black Mercy. It is a plant the keeps the captured person in their most fulfilling fantasies.  Kal-el is a farmer on Krypton. His wife, Loana (combo of Lois and Lana), his son Van-El, Krypto, and Brainiac the helper robot make his home complete. Krypton was never destroyed. His father is still a leading scientist. Things are different for Kal-El but his personality, drive, and morals remain the same. But as events in the real-world creep in as earthquakes, Kal-El realizes the fantasy. Batman and Wonder Woman must figure out how to break Clark out. Mongul sent the Black Mercy to stop Superman. With no Superman he wants to take over the Earth. Wonder Woman begins to fight him while Batman tries to break through to Clark. Things are not looking good as only Superman is strong enough to keep Mongul at bay, as we see Wonder Woman getting beat down like we've never seen before! As Batman finally is able to pull the flower off of Supes, he's able to come back to reality just in time, and goes to help fight Mongul. Batman is taken over but breaks free quickly. Wonder Woman puts a stop to the even battle between Superman and Mongul. Hello Legendary Leaguers Unlimited! After some time off, Flash, Harley, and xforce11 have hopped in the Waverider and answered the call to join the League. We are just some of the heroes who have gathered on the new Watchtower to help save the day. The original founding team have been recruiting new members. The Watchtower has been upgraded and so have the Javelins. We find out from Superman that Martian Manhunter will be picking members and sending the small teams out on missions.  To combat a nuclear robot gone rogue, Manhunter sends Green Lantern, Captain Atom, Supergirl and a very reluctant Green Arrow. They must deal with a hostile military as well as the robot. The League are running security for a peace summit when an alien ship shows up in the sky above. Followed soon after by a Thanagarian warship! It seems that Hawkgirl was a double agent sent to Earth to scout things out, where she relayed intel back to Thanigar that Earth's defenses are no match for the Gordanians, a lizard like race apparently hell bent on conquering the universe!  The Thanagar's leader, Hro Talek, offers to help by recommending they build a shield around the Earth. The people and the League work with the Thanagarians in a massive effort to construct the shield generator, but things are not as they seem. Batman discovers the Gordanians were dead long before they came to earth and it turns out that Hawkgirl is betrothed to Hro Talak,  and he is there on a revenge mission. He wants to build a Hyperspace Bypass to get to the Gordanian home world and end the war. The trouble is, that the bypass will destroy Earth in the process. To their surprise, the League is countered with weapons built around their weaknessess, and they are easily defeated and put in a Thanagarian prison. Luckily Wonder Woman uses her wits to trick a guard allowing her to escape and free the others.  They must hide in plain site by dressing as civilians to evade capture again. They work their way to the Batcave to make plans to fight back.  Hawkgirl catches up to them feeling guilty for not knowing what her people were up to, and fills them in on the true plans. They must get to the base ship and shut off the forcefield protecting the generator. Only once it's down, can they take out the generator.   Green Lantern and Hro battle over the controls and Hawkgirl begs Hro to find another way. It's an epic battle with a lot of emotions, and ultimately the generator is taken down.  In a cinematic sequence, Batman decides there's only one way to destroy their base, and that's to pilot the Watchtower on a collision course with the generator. Thankfully Superman saves him before the crash. The Thanagarians are defeated and have no reason to stay, so they leave for home. But all is not back to normal as Hawkgirl's status as a League member is being voted on. Half the team doesn't trust her anymore, and before they can come to a decision, she decides to resign. It's a bitter sweet ending as she bids farewell to John and flies off into the sunset... Everyone deserves a little cheer and hope during the holidays; even dare I say a little comfort and joy.  In this holiday episode, the Justice Leage save 2 worlds about to collide. But afterwards they decide to enjoy some time off. Flash plays Santa, along with the help of the Ultra-Humanite, for a group of orphans in Central City. Their hearts are set on a DJ Rubber Duckie and Flash and Ultra-Humanite put aside their differences to make their wish come true. Flash even gives Ultra-Humanite a piece of his childhood to enjoy in prison. Green Lantern and Hawkgirl have fun playing in the snow of the ice planet. But Hawkgirl wants to celebrate. They fly out into the galaxy. She has a world where she is well known and celebrates like she does. Her idea of celebration is drinking and fighting. She and Green Lantern celebrate and have a bar fight with the aliens. All is well. Superman takes the lonely Martian Manhunter home to Smallville for Christmas. Clark's love of the holiday is clear and his parents welcome J'onn with open arms. The Royal Flush Gang prove they're more than just a poker hand, as they go toe to toe with our team, and get the "upper hand", yeah I went there, on them! It takes they youngest member of the gang to change her mind about trusting the Joker, as she turns the tables on him, allowing the League to regain control. The death of Superman. Lobo joins the Justice League. Plus, an unlikely team-up in the future. What a great set of episodes! A team of Rogues, who all hate Superman team up to take him out. Toy Man, Livewire, Weather Wizard, Kalibak, and Metallo work together to attract Superman to the Daily Planet. But the whole League shows up. It is not going well for them until Toy Man uses his robot and power ray to threaten Batman & Wonder Woman. Superman takes the hit and is seemingly vaporized! The League, the planet and the galaxy mourn the death of Superman. But Batman does not believe he is dead. With Superman gone, all the villains come out to take over. Lobo shows up and wants to take Superman's place. The League reluctantly takes him with them as they go after the villains. But Superman is not dead! He has been transported thousands of years in the future. The planet is a wasteland, and the sun is red. He has no powers, so he must use his brain and normal human strength and skills to survive. Following a connection on his coms, he makes his way to the Justice League signal source which turns out to be the crashed remains of the Watchtower.  Vandal Savage is the only human being alive still.  Walking the ravaged Earth on his own for thousands of years. His weapon of gravity caused mass destruction and changed the physics of the solar system, wiping out humankind! And this all happened days after Superman's death! For penance, he decided to stay behind, alone on Earth, even though he was able to build a space craft to take him out into the galaxy. When he sees that Superman is somehow here, after following the coms signal he picked up, he goes to meet the man he once tried to kill. Superman discovers that Savage also built a time machine, and thinks he's found his way home, but unfortunately it needs more power than they have to make it work. Together they must go and steal a known power source that would suffice from a colony of mutated cockroaches.  This energy just happens to be a powerful source of radiation, like a miniature sun, that gives Superman back is abilities, allowing them to succeed. Vandal fills Superman in on exactly what he did to destroy the world and what he must do to stop him, so once the time machine is up and running, Superman returns and saves Batman from a fatal shot fired from above. They rejoice in his return, but his work isn't done. He must find the Savage of this time and stop him at all costs. The Justice League verses the Secret Society, who will win? The group that works together the best. Gorilla Grodd has gathered The Shade, Giganta, Killer Frost, Sinestro, and Clayface. Grodd has been working his mental control abilities on the League for months, messing with their emotions and making them feel stressed around each other. Watching the cracks form, he takes his Society and attacks when they're vulnerable, proving they can be beaten. He is not content to let them walk away privately.  He wants to end them publicly. So, he sets a trap and captures all of them except Green Lantern. John, in tracking them back to the cave, tries to step in to free his team, and puts up a good fight, but is ultimately captured. At a Gotham Knights football game half-time show, the Society crashes the party. They are going to publicly execute the League. But Martian Manhunter has been impersonating Clayface. He frees the team and they finally begin to work together and cover for each other. They defeat the Society and agree to apologize to each other and move on together...or so it seems. Aquaman, Dr. Fate, and Solomon Grundy are a very unlikely team, and they have come together to help close a portal that threatens Earth. Never fear, the Justice League is here, trying to... stop them? They are trying to protect Grundy, but don't understand the full nature of the problem, and Aquaman is not making it easy for them. After a battle in Fate's tower and around the world, they get the full answers. Aquaman returns to the sea to fight there, and the rest of the group goes to Ichthultu's dimension to fight him and the elder gods. Ichthultu was worshiped by the people of Thanagar until they lost faith in him. The battle causes Hawkgirl to question her lack of faith after seeing Ichthultu is real. Those around her have faith, and it inspires her. In the end, it is only by Grundy's faith and power that defeat Ichthultu. Grundy sacrifices his life to stop Ichthultu, and it leaves Hawkgirl broken. In the middle eastern desert, a unit of soldiers are on the hunt for a warlord. What they find could cause the end of humanity.  Deep in a cave, they find a temple guarded by Mophir, the last guardian of his tribe, holds the Black Heart. A crystal created by the last of the Ophidians, a race of serpent like beings who were at war with humans and on the brink of being wiped out. Any person that holds the black heart, is possessed by their vengeful spirits, and has one sole purpose: destroy all mankind. One of the soldiers makes it out of the cave alive, having been possessed by the jewel, leaving his comrades for dead. As he embarks on his new quest to end human existence, he runs into Wonder Woman, who easily defeats him, taking the jewel for herself. Now the world is in trouble. What happens when Superman gets pushed too far and Flash dies?  The Justice League becomes the Justice Lords.  In an alternate reality, Flash dies and Lex pushes Superman over the edge. The heroes of Earth militarize the Watchtower and put the world on lockdown. They are ruling for the “good” of humanity but are figures of fear and hatred. When their Batman discovers our world, he builds a portal to it. They see our League and know they will have to come with deceit. They ask for help and our heroes come to help. But they end up trapped in power dampening cells. The Lords come to our Earth and start to make it like theirs.  Superman and the Lords take on Doomsday. Superman lobotomizes him. Things don't look good for our world. But Flash figures out he can fool their Batman and it works. He frees the League and the League goes to find their Hawkgirl, who has been injured.  Batman & Batman fight it out. In the end, our Batman convinces the other one the error of their ways. The League escapes to their Earth. Superman must compromise and work with Lex to stop the Lords.  Lex depowers them all. A powerful villain and his forces have come to enslave the universe. These forces are surprisingly strong enough to destroy 2 members of the Green Lantern Corps, wound another and force a fourth into hiding.  The almost mortally wounded Kilowog races to Earth to get help from John Stewart and the League. Katma Tui, the commander who stays behind, infiltrates Despero's cult to feed info to the rebellion. John goes looking for his former mentor and lover, Katma, and finds a world of hurt.  The battle with Despero leaves him with a broken will. Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Hawkgirl arrive with Kilowog. They join up with John and the rebellion and plan to snuff out the Flame of Pytar, the source of Despero's power. John, Hawkgirl, and Katma are captured and all seems lost. John sees Hawkgirl threatened by Despero and it pushes him over his mental block. He fights Despero toe to toe. J'onn learns that the Pytar is the soul of the planet and with the help of the people they reject Despero. The planet regains it's life force, becoming lush and green, while Despero and his forces get entangled in the vines of the new growth and become part of the planet.  John has grown past his love for Katma and looks to Hawkgirl as his new partner, after she has proven her loyalty and faith in him. Plus, Flash has made a new friend in Kilowog. Wonder Woman is in Paris for a party of world dignitaries and royalty. But she feels overwhelmed by people wanting to know about her. Thankfully Bruce Wayne steps in to pull her away for a dance. Bruce has not confided in the League yet that he is Batman, but by the end of these events,  Diana has figured it out. They are called into action as soldiers try to kidnap Diana's new found friend and party mentor, Princess of Kaznia, Audrey. Regular soldiers are no trouble for Wonder Woman to take down, even in an evening dress. And Bruce Wayne enjoys the view. Audrey is engaged and wants to live it up one last time. She and Diana go shopping and clubbing.  It is later revealed that Audrey's fiancé is Vandal Savage! His plans are to force Audrey to marry him, eliminate her father, rule Kaznia, and use their part in the Space Station to take over the world. He, with the help of Colonel Vox, have made the Space Station into a rail gun that can fire meteors down to Earth, and use it to hold the world hostage. Batman and Wonder Woman must help Audrey and stop Savage on the ground. Nightmares abound in this episode! A seemingly nice and peaceful man has agreed to be experimented on while in prison, as the scientist tries to enhance the human brain with ESP abilities. During a stroke of great timing, a prison break erupts, and John D uses the distraction to go to the machine and put it to full power, granting him amazing mental abilities in the dream state. Using his new found mind control, he tests his power on his ex girlfriend who left him for another man, and there he discovers his new identity, Doctor Destiny. As his powers get stronger, and the League is trying to stop the prison break, he attacks them one at a time, invoking their worse fears to come to life...in their dreams! We have come back from space and landed the Waverider in Metropolis. Lex is in his power armor and fighting off Hawkgirl and Superman. His armor is damaged, and he retreats to Luthor Corp. There he finds Mercy Graves, his former driver and bodyguard. She has taken Luthor Corp to new success and has no desire to help Lex.  And so he searches out his former Luthor Corp top scientist, Professor Ivo. But to his dismay, he finds Ivo dead in his bed. Thinking he's at a loss for help, Ivo's last creation appears, and it's Amazo, an ever evolving android. Lex finds he is a blank slate (Tabula Rasa) and manipulates him to help. Amazo does Lex's dirty work getting supplies for his armor and taking on the Justice League.  He can copy the powers and abilities of anyone he meets. The League divides up, seeking out info from Ivo's notes, seeking Amazo, and J'onn is doing a mind sweep to find Lex, but opening his powers up to the whole city overwhelms him. J'onn mentally hears all the bad things about humans and is disturbed and runs to the forest outside the city for peace. The League attacks Amazo and is getting beat down. J'onn realizes that his power will help Amazo see the true intentions of the League and Lex when he copies his mental abilities. Amazo hears Lex's mind and sees he's been lied to and manipulated. Lex doesn't like where this is going, and uses Ivo's failsafe and blows off Amazo's head. But Amazo adapts and survives. We have landed the Waverider in the hanger bay of the Watchtower. It is time for Season 2 of Justice League! The galactic war between Darkseid's Apokolips and the Highfather's New Genesis is raging, and the Highfather's forces led by Orin, Darkseid's biological son, are winning. But that all changes when Brainiac arrives. Things are so bad Darkseid must ask his enemy, Superman, and the League for help. The League agrees over Superman's objections. They split up and Batman & Wonder Woman head to New Genesis looking for help. The League works with Apokolips and defeat Brainiac causing him to retreat. They follow him to his asteroid base, but it was a well laid trap. Brainiac and Darkseid work together to capture Superman. Brainiac wants to evolve and needs Superman's DNA to do it. But Darkseid uses the station to try and destroy New Genesis. Thankfully the League can stop him, except that Superman is bent on ending Darkseid. It's world war II back in time in a different timeline! Make sense? Vandal Savage makes his debut in the Justice League, and he's the type of villain that makes for great story telling! Time travel, war, future tech out of time and tons of aerial battles! The team gets pulled into an alternate timeline where the Nazis are winning the war, and Savage is the new fuhr! All but Batman are there, that is until they run into this timeline's version of him, and he doesn't know who they are! It's then all out aerial assault as the allies try to fend off the regime of the Nazi's new superior tech machines thanks to Savage and his time travel shenanigans! Green Lantern runs out of juice! Can he still make a difference reverting back to his military training? Wonder Woman meets a different Steve Trevor, but love still blooms even with war all around them! Rex Mason seems to have it all. He has a well-paying job at Stagg industries. The boss's daughter, Sapphire, is his fiancée. He is even friends with a Green Lantern, John Stewart, where they spent time together in the Marine Corps. But it all comes apart in a literal train wreck. Rex's boss Simon Stagg, along with his pre-historic henchman Java, are up to no good. Stagg is trying to create the perfect worker who can survive in any environment. The project is called Metamorpho, but the issue is he needs a test subject to prove that his idea works before he can sell it. After the train wreck John fills Rex in on Stagg's illegal activities. Rex and Sapphire make their relationship know to Simon. Rex quits and says they are moving to Chicago. This seals the deal. Simon thinks Rex is not good enough for his daughter and now has a test subject. He sets a trap that Rex walks into, and the experiment begins. It transforms him into Metamorpho. Simon frames John to make Rex think John is after Sapphire. A battle between Metamorpho and the League ensues, and Rex has the upper hand. Thankfully Sapphire can slap some sense into Rex, and he goes after Simon. But as Rex is stopping Simon, the experiment goes off the rails. A giant Metamorpho like monster is created and it has part of Simon's mind in it. The League is having no luck in defeating it, even with Metamorpho's help. Batman has found a way to stop it, but it means Metamorpho must sacrifice himself to do it. His love for Sapphire, who is the captive of the monster, gives Rex no choice. He changes himself into the formula and takes down the monster. Morgaine le Fey and Mordred are out to take Camelot and make it their own. Jason Blood has been cursed for helping her and now as Etrigan seeks to stop her. She is determined to make his world a kingdom for Mordred. She is searching for the philosopher's stone to power her domination. Jason enlists Batman's help, but she is too much for them. The League is called upon to help. But Morgaine captures the mind of J'onn. She promises him his family and home back if he brings her the stone. The League must fight off Morgaine, Mordred and J'onn to save the world. Etrigan's past helps snap J'onn out of it and he destroys the stone.
