It's Batman versus Superman in the highly anticipated blockbuster showdown between the two comic book titans. In a follow up to 2013's Man of Steel, this is the second instalment in DC's Cinematic Universe. This movie, which is also directed by Zack Snyder, is notable for featuring the first live-action film appearance of the Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) characters together, as well as the first live-action film appearances of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice brings us a new Batman different to that of previous on screen appearances, and a new interpretation of Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), and a select few returning faces from Man of Steel. Prepare yourselves for an in depth discussion about our thoughts of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Show notes: http://bit.ly/1JbgC1d Two-Week Catch-Up: Robert bumps Ernest Cline's Armada up to "neutral" and un-recommends Wesley Chu's Time Salvager as "an epic and total disappointment stretched with nothing but filler after its first third" Darrell discusses ARK: Survival of the Fittest and Team Evil Genius winning six million dollars (!) at the latest DotA 2 championship Jermaine vows to play every single Steam game he owns before purchasing any more and entertains family, realizing he actually doesn't disdain small children! Nerdy News: Jermaine abandons the Lexus hover-board and finds the world's first robot hotel in Japan utterly disappointing, underwhelming, and flat-out creepy Darrell celebrates being completely correct about the new Fantastic Four being downright awful and that a Deadpool sequel may get green-lit (before the first movie's even been released!) Robert feels completely vindicated that his main man, Ben Affleck, has gotten the go-ahead for three standalone Batman movies! Trailer Talk: Suicide Squad Jermaine and Darrell geek out over the long-awaited expansion of DC's Cinematic Universe while Robert gives a big, long yawn and is bored silly Deadpool Darrell's not sure what to make of Deadpool, Jermaine is (obviously/of course) excited, and Robert likens this "Phase Two" of the MCU to American Pie, Euro Trip, and Old School - "We're in the 'frat-boy' phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe" Retro Review of Injustice - Gods Among Us: Year One - Vol 1 Robert loves that Superman finally embraces capital punishment - "It's about time!" Jermaine, for once, agrees with Robert (!), and considers Tom Taylor's writing top-notch Darrell thinks it's outrageous that the government takes Clark Kent's parents hostage-- "How on earth is that a good idea?! How does that even make sense?!" Recommendations: Darrell endorses the Walking Dead, Season Six - "Can't wait until October!" Jermaine recommends Ray Donovan - "The man's a fixer! That's how it's done!" Robert gives two thumbs up to Pixar's latest masterpiece, Inside Out, and recommends it without reservation
