In episode 107 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield start the new year with a quick recap of some holiday events and 2025 relationship status updates before getting into the synastry of Bob Dylan, his ex-wife Sara Lownds, and former girlfriend, Joan Baez.   This episode comes from a listener submission asking us to look at classic folk/rock music icon Bob Dylan and both of his relationships with ex-wife Sara Lownds/Dylan and we decided to also add in fellow rock star girlfriend Joan Baez.    First, we read for the rolling stone himself and see a free thinking, adventure-oriented and religious minded Sagittarius rising. Adding a Taurus stellium in the fifth house, creativity and legacy was always going to be part of his story. His flirty Gemini Venus gives him that trickster wit, but a Mercury/Neptune square makes it hard to be understood.   Then we look into Sara's chart and see raw power coming from an intense, Eclipsed Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus. We also see a square from Pluto to those planets denoting a life of deep, transformational experiences. In addition, Saturn in Aries conjuncts her South node, telling us this was a life full of lessons in conflict.   Together their synastry is touchy with his Sun receiving amplifying sextiles from her Pluto and Jupiter but her Venus getting hit hard by burden-heavy Saturn. With two Taurus Moons can these two really get along? After we answer that, we briefly explore the chart of Joan Baez and find an assertive and independent Aries rising with a disciplined Capricorn Sun.   With a light-hearted Gemini Moon she has an air of curiosity and mobility about her that blends perfectly with Bob's language-oriented Gemini Sun. In episode 33 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield discuss one of our subscribers' couple suggestions -- the relationship between the highest paid actress in Hollywood, Scarlett Johansson and head SNL comedy writer, Colin Jost. This couple first met back in 2005, but didn't connect romantically until 2017 and then married in 2020. Since then the two have welcomed their first child! There must be something powerful between them for this romance to be so strong!  First, looking at Scarlett's natal chart (although we don't have a highly rated birth time), our guess is that she's actually Scorpio rising as opposed to Sagittarius rising as her suggested birth time would indicate. Moving from the depths of Pisces to the spark of Aries can be confusing, like being exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. With the edgy energies of Mars in Aries retrograde in a square to Saturn preparing to station direct on September 28, we are reminded to be diligent about centering ourselves and cleaning up and repairing our own field or web in order to attract and resonate with the reality we wish to create over the coming years and even decade.
