Mercury in Aries is excellent for dealing with situations that require quick decisions, decisiveness, and the courage to speak your mind. [4:17] Mercury conjoins Neptune (April 16, 9:11 pm PDT) at 00º38' Aries. Great for translating visions into a form that others can understand. Neptune is also associated with escapism, and lends sensitivity to other people and to content that you consume. [6:48] Mars moves into glamorous Leo on April 17 (9:21 pm PDT). Mars previously went into Leo on Nov. 3, 2024, eventually turned retrograde and entered Cancer on Jan. 6, where it's been ever since. It will be in Leo until June 17. Promote yourself and your ideas, and revisit any projects that you started back in late 2024.  [9:06] The Sun enters Taurus (April 19, 12:56 pm PDT, through May 20). Count your blessings, contemplate what is needed for stability, pleasure, and abundance. [11:30] Mars trines Neptune (April 19, 3:53 pm PDT) at 00°44' Leo-Aries. Help the disadvantaged, cheer the despondent, incorporate spiritual and artistic influences. Help others, not just yourself. [13:25] Venus, the planetary ruler of Taurus, sextiles Uranus (April 20, 11:20 am PDT) at 25º45' Pisces-Taurus. This is the last of three sextile aspects between Venus-Uranus (the others were Jan. 26, April 7). In any kind of relationship, it's important to have freedom, our own friends, interests, and money. [15:36] Mercury sextiles Pluto on April 20 (2:39 pm PDT) at 3º46' Aries-Aquarius. Channel the intense mental energy of this combination into constructive, healing, and empowering activities. [17:30] The Sun squares Mars (April 20, 6:34 pm PDT) at 1º12' Taurus-Leo. This can be motivating, but tempers might be flaring. Try not to take things personally and hold grudges. The Sun's Sabian symbol at this square is 2 Taurus, An electrical storm, Mars is on 2 Leo, An epidemic of mumps.  [20:11] Moon Report! The Aquarius Last Quarter Moon (April 20, 6:36 pm PDT) is at 1º12' Aquarius-Taurus, on Sabian symbols 2 Aquarius, An unexpected thunderstorm and 2 Taurus, An electrical storm. This is a highly charged and energetic Last Quarter Moon, marked by this T-square between the Moon and Pluto in Aquarius, Mars in Leo, and the Sun in Taurus. T-squares are motivating, but they can also be quite frustrating. Last Quarter Moons push us to complete the goals of the previous New Moon, in this case the Aries Solar Eclipse on March 29. [24:09] This is the Last Quarter (final action point) in a lunar phase family cycle (LPFC) that began with a New Moon on Jan. 21, 2023, at 1º32' Aquarius. The First Quarter (first action point) in this LPFC was on Oct. 21, 2023, and the Full Moon (awareness point) was on July 21, 2024. [26:08] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon Periods. On April 15 (7:24 pm PDT), the Moon in Scorpio trines Mercury in Pisces. It's VOC for just 13 minutes, and then enters Sagittarius (7:37 pm PDT). Take this very short VOC Moon period to initiate a habit of saying good things to yourself and to others. [27:34] On April 18 (4:38 am PDT), the Moon in Sagittarius trines the Sun in Aries. It's VOC for 2 hours, 34 minutes, then enters Capricorn (7:12 am PDT). Have fun and laugh, even in trying times. [28:34] On oh, so busy April 20 (10:21 am PDT), the Moon in Capricorn sextiles Saturn. The last full week of 2024 is here! Ophi gives tips for how to navigate the holidays. In episode 106 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield finish the year with a lasting Hollywood romance, that of Melrose Place actress and Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna and her husband, actor Harry Hamlin. This couple has been married for over two decades! We investigate to see what's working between their planets!   First, we start with Lisa and discover a water dominated chart, including a grand trine between the Sun/Mercury, Moon, and Neptune making her sensitive, emotionally deep and very compassionate. However, there is a strong fiery spark with Jupiter in Aries making a square to her Cancer Sun, revealing a highly independent and outspoken identity. Adding a Venus/Uranus sextile, we see that her approach to artistic/beauty projects and making money is definitely unique and unconventional.    Next, we analyze Harry's chart and are not surprised to see this two time "Sexiest Man Alive" winner with a Sun and Moon conjunction in seductive Scorpio and a charismatic Venus/Mars conjunction in Virgo. This indicates a man with a high libido with a charming and attractive exterior. We also see a Mercury/Uranus trine, demonstrating heightened intelligence and a sharp mind.   Together, their synastry reveals the highly desirable Mars/Venus conjunction - proving there is a powerful attraction and natural compatibility. This is a "love at first sight" connection! Then they share trine mercuries in sensitive water signs, which makes for good listening and flowing communication and understanding. We do see a Saturn/Venus square telling us there may be disapproval and disagreements at times. There is also a Sun/Neptune square that can cause insecurity and doubt when it comes to vitality and personal power. With 26 years of marriage under their belt, these challenges have likely been worked out. In episode 85 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on another planetary combo with Venus and the outer planet, Uranus. First, we talk about what Uranus represents and how it functions in the birth chart. From there, we discuss how this combination entails extreme emphasis on freedom in relationships, the strong need for friendship, and an unconventional artistic style/sense of value.   Each of the five major Venus/Uranus aspects is covered! The conjunction brings us a sense of attraction to unusual characters and standards of beauty, a noted ability to jump in and out of relationships quickly and experimentation in different forms of relating.   The sextile eases the more uncompromising parts of the conjunction and brings excitement and open-mindedness to all relationships.   The square gets special attention (and advice) as this is the most difficult angle, producing the lack of long-lasting relationships, needing freedom to the extreme, and even creates instability with finances. As a reminder - all charts are complex and workable, no matter how difficult the aspect may seem!   The trine which gives us the easiest ability to be generous and have a flourishing social life. This is the bridge builder and admirerer of individuality.   Lastly, we end with the opposition which tells us that the see-saw affect can produce extremes of needing closeness vs. needing freedom. This push and pull means these people may not readily accept love and the lesson is to learn how to!   Each aspect gets celebrity examples that embody these traits. In Episode 64 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield welcome the new year with another listener submission and dive into British actors/models/musicians and soon to be parents, Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse.   Beginning with Robert, we encounter grounded and sculpted Taurus Sun energy with a selfless and philanthropic Jupiter sextile. Additionally, we find a compassionate Cancer Moon with an out-of-the-box Venus/Uranus love style to boot!   Next, we explore Suki's natal chart, immediately finding almost all planets evenly split in Sagittarius and Capricorn. Combining these energies can be difficult as seriousness is pitted against optimism, but being born during the New Moon in Capricorn, surrounded by outer planets like Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, we think Suki will have longevity in her deep evolution as a person. With her Venus and Mars in Sagittarius, she certainly has the fighting words and philosophies to go far!   Combined, these two have got impressive alignments! In Episode 55 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield travel back in time and take on Hollywood's first “it” coupling between Movie Stars Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. They were married not once, but twice, however both attempts ended in divorce.   First, we explore Elizabeth's birth chart and immediately hone in on her electric Venus/Uranus conjunction in Aries. To us, this explained her trial-by-fire and courage when it came to love and her relationship style. Known for her many marriages, the Jupiter trine to this conjunction, also explains the abundance of love that was at her fingertips. Adding a watery Pisces Sun and stellium, her allure, romanticism and dreaminess was tantalizing to all, but with Mars also in that sign, her ideas around masculinity (and therefore men) could have been confusing to her.    Next, we investigate Richard's chart and locate a tight Sun/Saturn conjunction. This tells us he carried a heavy weight on his shoulders, and in the sign of Scorpio, nothing ever seemed to come easily. We also find his attraction to a good reputation with his Venus in Capricorn and a worry-wart energy with a Mercury/Moon square.   Together, these two had a lot going on with their synastry! We encounter both a New Moon and Full Moon aspect between the pair and that got us excited. Plus, with a powerful Mars/Venus connection, it seems this relationship was destined to happen. However, a harsh Mercury square tells us they had a very difficult time understanding one another. Were their differing communication styles to blame for their downfall? In episode 50 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on the once rumored and now publicly acknowledged pairing between Kylie Jenner and Timotheé Chalamet.  The two have been quietly getting to know each other over the Summer, and recently made their public debut as a couple, complete with PDA at the U.S. Open! Does this Gen-Z couple of the moment have staying power? We take a look at their synastry! We first dive into Kylie's chart and immediately see that she is strong and mature-beyond-her-years thanks to a Capricorn rising sign (being on camera since the age of nine will do that to you). Next, we see a stellium in Virgo, which explains her put together look (and self-critical perception), while her Mars in Libra on the Midheaven explains her beauty-entrepreneur mogul status. However, with a Leo Sun in the 8th house and a Scorpio Moon, she is more secretive than your typical Leo and craves deep intimacy. We then view Timothee's chart and immediately find a substantial stellium in Capricorn including the Sun, giving him a chiseled, matured, and grounded personality. With Virgo rising, his refined air is also not lost on anyone. We also come across Saturn in Pisces in the 7th house and discuss how this can mean sacrifices when it comes to his relationships. Once the truth is revealed,  It's time for me to act,  Asserting what I know to be true,  Not waffling or turning my back.  ☉ So much is happening on so many levels that covering it all is hard! In today's report, I shared about the three levels of this Venus/Uranus as the personal, interpersonal, and societal/universal. The societal/universal can be witnessed (another Uranian function) by reading the news, which is totally beyond our personal control.  More insight into inner, personal manifestation can be found by looking at the house and planetary aspects that the 17th degree of Taurus makes in your birth chart. On all three levels, this conjunction has to do with a higher, liberating, unconscious, universal truth revealing itself, often suddenly, unexpectedly, and shockingly, in all matters connected to what we value, how we survive, and how we relate, inviting us to "raise the bar." The revelation of what is true for us will impact each of us in our own lives in a unique way. It will show us what is true for us and where we have not been in our truth. Not only where we have been right but also where we have fallen, made mistakes, and caused trauma or harm. When the mantra speaks of asserting our truth, this may involve apologizing and changing ourselves, not just stubbornly digging our heels in and expecting/demanding others or the world to change. Aries is the warrior god and will rain down the fire upon you. This is a great time to start something new, but this is a very hot new moon.  4.14.21 Venus enters the sign of Taurus. This is Venus' home sign and will be happy to finally get to this placement. Venus is so happy to be able to rest with her comfortable bed, chocolate, and yummy food. Venus is very comfortable in this placement. This is a very inspiring place for her. She can be creative and relax and focus on nurturing relationships. This is a good time to reevaluate relationships of all kinds: our relationship with ourselves, and our relationship with others.  4.18.21 Mercury conjunct Sun in Aries: CAZIMI! HOROSCOPE 2021 OVERVIEW   2021 sees three Saturn-Uranus squares – a major aspect in astrology which last occurred in 1999-2000. For you, Aries, these squares reveal a tension between your own values, the values of your social group, and society’s imposed values. February, June and December will be particular crunch points in this regard, but you may struggle with being told what to think throughout the year.    Although you start 2021 with Mars, your ruling planet, in your own zodiac sign, it moves into your values zone on January 6 th  and the tension begins. During the second week of January, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn, all in your social zone, form tense approaches with volatile Mars and Uranus; you may start to feel pretty uncomfortable in the social sphere around this time, and once Mercury turns retrograde at the end of January, this will only intensify.   Mid-February sees the first of the Saturn-Uranus squares, Aries, so you may experience anger, fallouts with friends or exasperation with the prevailing culture at work. In early March, Mars shifts into your communication zone, making you even less likely to hold your tongue and keep the peace. At work, this could become a particular issue in mid-April, when the Sun squares up to control freak Pluto, which is transiting your career zone. It may only be your liking for the job’s secure income, boosted by Venus arriving in your money zone at this time, which stops you from doing something drastic.   You will start to feel increasingly evangelical in your views, Aries, once Jupiter shifts into Pisces and your spirituality zone on May 13 th  and until it turns retrograde there on June 20 th . Impatient, impulsive Mars moves into your risk zone in mid-June, just in time for the second Saturn-Uranus square, so if there is a point of no return on this issue, it’s likely to be then.   The second half of the year seems much calmer for your zodiac sign, and indeed things settle down considerably in July and August, and with Venus moving into your love zone, you should feel more at ease. However, be sure to keep communication open with your sweetheart ahead of Mercury’s retrograde in your love zone in late September.   Enjoy the relative peace while it lasts, Aries, because the Lunar Eclipse in late November occurs in your values zone, perhaps impacting dearly held opinions you have, or even on things you physically value – your bank balance. If you are single, however, January may be a good time to meet someone who works in a similar field to you – when Venus conjuncts Pluto in your career zone, this could be an overwhelming attraction.   If your relationship has already been on the rocks for a while, February brings some stability and respite when Venus conjuncts Saturn and then Jupiter in quick succession. There’s a touch of magic available in your love horoscope too in March when Venus conjuncts Neptune. Despite the tension, Aries, romance is most definitely not dead.   However, when Mars shifts into your family zone in April, Venus too ratchets up the tension, squaring up to Pluto and then Saturn during April, highlighting jealousy from a partner who wants you to spend more time at home and less time either working, socializing or doing your own thing. A sense of vagueness and a lack of certainty in love could also be annoying for your partner late in May when Venus squares Neptune.   Although family tensions continue through June, these are more related to children and extended family than directly to your partner; indeed, there are signs of an increasingly deep connection in love during early summer, when Venus trines Jupiter, then trines Neptune, before opposing Pluto in late June and proving that love wins out over coercion every time. July, which Venus spends mostly in your dating zone, is a magical time for meeting someone new, Aries, or indeed for restoring the spark in an existing relationship.   During August, your love life feels grounded, earthy and largely contented, with Venus creating trines to Uranus, Pluto and Saturn, all of which will keep you connected with your emotions and with what matters most to your lover. During September, however, you will need to work hard to get enough quality with your sweetheart. This looks like being a busy social month for you, but Venus’ squares to Pluto, then Saturn, and later Jupiter suggest that there’s not enough focus on privacy or intimacy.   If you are single, mid-November is an excellent time for meeting someone special – but don’t try too hard! A beautiful Venus-Uranus trine in your love horoscope suggests that the most meaningful encounters will come out of the blue. Venus conjuncts Pluto twice, once on the 11 th  and again on the 25 th  having turned retrograde. You’ll be asked to make a commitment around this time: it’s all or nothing, so are you ready to make long-term plans?     MONEY AND CAREER HOROSCOPE   The impact of the first Saturn-Uranus square dominates January and February in astrology and, if you feel that your right to an opinion is being curtailed at work, you will feel this impact in your career too. Nonetheless, there are optimistic signs that you can get ahead during early 2021 if you can keep your emotions in check, Aries. A volatile Mars-Jupiter square in late January, for example, suggests that too much aggression will curtail your opportunities, but an inspirational Mercury- Jupiter conjunction in mid-February highlights your skills and how you can make yourself irreplaceable.   There are more positive opportunities in March, particularly when Mars trines Saturn and helps you to stabilize your position, and in April, when Mars trines Jupiter and gives a huge boost to new and exciting projects. A dramatic Sun- Uranus conjunction in late April in your money zone could even see some unexpected earnings, a windfall or a promotion of some kind.   During May, focus on taking control and responsibility where you can, Aries. A Sun-Pluto trine mid-month will help with this and should boost both your income and your status at work. If you work in the arts or the creative industries, the end of May also sees a trine between Mars and Neptune, which helps to harness the power of the imagination – although the Lunar Eclipse late in May could suggest problems with work-related travel.   Try to avoid doing anything drastic with regard to your career in June, Aries; you may well feel on edge and wound up, courtesy of the Solar Eclipse and the second Saturn-Uranus square, but with Mars in your risk zone, you won’t be thinking very clearly. This edginess continues into July, as Mars opposes Saturn and then squares Uranus; you may feel that your creativity or freedom is being restrained, but if you can hang on in there, the pieces will start to fall into place. At the end of July, an inspirational Mars-Jupiter opposition will help to re-vamp your working routines or schedules in such a way that more freedom is possible.   Late August brings an eccentric but exciting Mars-Uranus trine, activating your money zone and perhaps bringing your inspiration for a new side hustle or lucrative project. During September, the first steps with this get the go-ahead from a series of solar trines to Uranus, Pluto and Saturn, as well as Mars trines to Pluto and Saturn – this is definitely a month to set things in motion.   Later in October, however, watch out for a tense Mars-Pluto square which pits your working life against your love life; November’s Lunar Eclipse in your money zone might exacerbate this too. Don’t take unnecessary financial risks in late November or early December – Mars is set to oppose Uranus and later square Jupiter, giving you reckless thoughts, especially egged on by friends and colleagues. These aspects should help to bring good news and potential around money and career matters. If you are looking for love, Taurus, watch out too for a potentially dramatic attraction in the workplace, especially in early May when Venus trines Pluto.   In June, as you grapple with changing your life direction under the guidance of the Saturn-Uranus square, some gentle and inspirational aspects from Venus to Jupiter, early in the month, and then Neptune later, suggest that friends and acquaintances will be supportive and encouraging. If you are single, this could also be a moment when a friendship becomes something more.   Watch out for a lack of family time in July, Taurus, when Venus in your family zone has some tough aspects to Saturn and Uranus in your career and identity zones respectively. Mid-July, when Venus conjuncts Mars in your family zone, could be either a point of intense attraction and passion, or a point of intense anger – your choice. By the time Venus arrives in your love zone in September, your family should be fully on board with what are starting to emerge as your new career plans, although again, be careful to prioritize family and relationship time so it doesn’t get lost in the mix.   November’s Lunar Eclipse in your own zodiac sign, Taurus, and the following Solar Eclipse in your psychology zone are tied up with issues of your identity, but you will be well on the way to resolving those at this time. Venus turns retrograde in your travel zone in late December, however, so you may want to avoid travel for romantic purposes during that period. Venus is set to turn direct again on January 1st 2022, so hold off until then for a romantic break.     MONEY AND CAREER   As already explained, your career is likely to be a central issue for you in 2021, given how tied up it is with your sense of identity and purpose. Your dissatisfaction with your current situation becomes clear in early-mid January, when Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn bump along together creating square aspects from your career zone to volatile Mars and Uranus in your own sign.   However, it’s with the first of the year’s three Saturn-Uranus squares in mid-February that the tension really becomes clear. Your initial reaction to growing disenchantment with your career may well be to simply try to earn more money. A series of supportive aspects in March and April may well enable you to do so, either through career promotion or perhaps through a lucrative side venture – but it’s not enough to ease your discomfort, as becomes clear in mid-May, when Jupiter leaves your career zone and instead turns your attention to what you’re contributing to society.   Expect the Lunar Eclipse in late May, which occurs in your personal growth zone, to jolt you into an awareness of what matters more than money and status. The quickly following Solar Eclipse in your money zone in early June will underline this too, ahead of the second Saturn-Uranus square. It’s at this point that you may start to feel seriously drawn towards a career which more closely embodies your personal values and identity.   Try to avoid taking financial risks in late July. A difficult opposition between luxury-loving Venus and retrograde Jupiter highlights a reckless urge to spend, as does the opposition of impulsive Mars to retrograde Jupiter the following week. During August, keep your family and loved ones in the loop regarding your potential career plans. As the Sun opposes retrograde Jupiter in late August, there are warnings that keeping too much to yourself could leave loved ones feeling hurt or out in the cold; it’s their lives too, remember.   During late September, you may be able to adjust your working patterns or schedules in such a way that brings you greater freedom, particularly when then Sun trines Saturn near the end of the month, helping you to free up space through better time management. An inspirational Mars-Jupiter trine in late October also brings ideas on this front and may help you to start to see possibilities where previously you’d only seen obstacles.   Look to the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus in mid-November to help you finally make a career decision. A slightly tricky Mars-Jupiter square in early December highlights the importance of having your family on board too, but by the time the third Saturn-Uranus square plays out in late December, your mind will be made up and you will have an action plan in place. With bountiful Jupiter settling back into your community zone in December, a future in a caring, community or socially responsible career role seems like it would fit the bill very well indeed.

This starts several weeks of astrological intensity where we are asked to step up, own our mastery & reach for the heavens with our integrity intact. With the Venus-Uranus opposition, you’ll need to keep a cool head to ride out a developing crisis. Impulsive Aries, Leo and Sagittarius might find composure hard to come by. Faced with a problem, you’d rather take action, but if you don’t have to make an instant decision, then don’t. It’s wiser to put off any difficult choices for another day. Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, maybe something has come along that threatens your material security. Be extra careful with your money. You may be feeling restless and want to change up your usual financial routine, but this isn’t a time to take risks, especially by gaming or gambling. For Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, you’re not into routine anyway, so this edgy energy isn’t going to blow you away, but you’ll have to be sensitive to everyone’s moods while still maintaining your inner cool. Your natural empathy and sense of fairness will go a long way today to help soothe others. If you’re a Scorpio, Cancer or Pisces, you need people in your life who help calm you emotionally and make you feel safe, so today might be rough. Guard your heart. If romantic tension rears its head, it’s best to listen and then retreat rather than do something you might later regret. Gazing ahead, a grounded Taurus Moon will help to put things into perspective.
