But all is not jovial and swell in Hillsfar, for Torin Nomerthal is still broiling from the fact that the companions were able to pluck his prized Shadovar prisoners from under his big nose. He’s not likely to leave the offenders unharrassed for long. While our champions make their way through the Cormanthor forest and on towards Yulash, amidst the woods now thick with Red Plume patrols and scouts carrying Lord Nomerthal’s orders to bring them to his twisted justice, all are yet unaware that a far greater threat is in its infancy in the deep recesses of the forgotten Hillsfar Sewers. What lies in wait at the dark convergence of our bard’s love of the spotlight and her haunted history of deep loss. Season 1, Episode 1 – A Hero’s Welcome After breaking Ranquess free from a Red Plume garrison near the walls of Hillsfar, Tamasin, Chyna, Merkesh, Fa’en and their liberated sorcerer friend must find a way to break back into the walled city to prevent the execution of Ranquess’ fellow Shadovar agents, who face certain death at the hands of Torin Nomerthal. A painstakingly calculated incursion to the city proves successful with the help of Harper sympathizers on the inside, but they have unearthed something sinister in the catacombs and sewers below. After narrowly escaping death at the hands of this ancient evil, the companions and their freed prisoners have made their way, safely, to the berth of The Libertine and a planned extraction staged mere miles from the coast of the walled stronghold of the tyrant lord Nomerthal.
