If John Wick and Judge Dredd loved each other very much… Saga of the Forgotten Warrior By: Larry Correia 1- Son of the Black Sword 2- House of Assassins 3- Destroyer of Worlds 4- Tower of Silence 5- Graveyard of Demons 6- Heart of the Mountain Briefly, what is this series about?  The series is set on the continent of Lok, in a world inspired by feudal India and Southeast Asia, meaning that there are castes, and outside of that, the casteless, who are literal non-people. The story follows Ashok Vadal, a pitiless "Protector of the Law". The Order of the Protectors is like a branch of elite special forces, called in when the normal constabulary, or even the normal military is insufficient. Even among these elite warriors Ashok stands out as being particularly deadly because he bears one of the world's twelve sentient magical swords. Much of the law concerns the status of the first caste and the casteless' lack of status. But it also forbids religion, illegal magic, and demons leaving the sea. The ocean is full of demons, and they don't have much regard for the law, so Ashok spends much of his time killing them.  Given that the ocean is the exclusive domain of the demons, all status consists in living far away from it, and all insults reference the ocean in some way. "Saltwater!" Or calling someone a "Fisheater."  Who should read this series? Much of my discussion below will concern this very question, but as a tl;dr you should definitely like it if you like Correia's other stuff. Also if you like fast moving action heavy fantasy series that are done, I would also recommend it. Specific thoughts: How this fantasy series compares to other fantasy series

We have so much to tell you about!  In this episode, we dig into the life of Storme DeLarverie, a man who was born to a black mother and white father.  Mom was a servant and Dad was wealthy.  Because he was a child of black and white parents he was never issued a birth certificate and chose to celebrate his birthday on December 24th.  His dad paid for his education but he was raised mostly by his grandfather.  He joined the Ringling Brothers Circus as a show rider and began to get on stage at Jazz Clubs at only 15.  He would travel Europe with a jazz ensemble before returning to the United States where he joined the Jewel Box Revue.  The Jewel Box was at the time the only interracial drag show and it toured all over the country even to military bases.  And Storme became the show's lone drag king and emcee.  He was on hand at the Stonewall when the infamous uprising began in New York City aand may have been the one to kick off violence.  He later went on to become the Guardian of Greenwich Village in this, wow this was a true American episode of the Family Plot Podcast.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/family-plot--4670465/support.

Tom Walton is a Christ follower, husband, and passionate outdoorsman. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Tom has been in law enforcement for 13 years and is currently a detective and SWAT team member. The Lonoke County Prosecutor is calling it vigilante justice. The defense calls it a father protecting his child. In this Hidden Killers interview, Tony Brueski and Bob Motta unpack the State's new filing in the Aaron Spencer case — a motion to use body-cam footage recorded three months before the shooting. In it, Spencer, furious after learning his daughter had been assaulted, tells deputies he doesn't trust the system and says, “Sometimes you've got to handle things yourself.” The prosecution wants those words played for jurors as proof of premeditation. The defense argues they show grief and disbelief, not intent. He also served for 7 years as an Operator and Lead Instructor for an Elite Federal Government Protective Detail for High-Risk and Critical environments, to include; Kirkuk, Iraq, Kabul, Afghanistan, Beirut, Lebanon and Benghazi, Libya. During this time he earned his certification for Federal Firearms Instructor, Simunition Scenario Qualified Instructor and Certified Skills Facilitator. At home with her younger son, the Prince of York, Elizabeth gets a tattoo as she ruminates with the Duchess over their horrible state of affairs. A messenger arrives with the news that Dorset and Rivers have been imprisoned in Pomfret by Richard and Buckingham. Elizabeth grabs York and withdraws in despair to sanctuary, leaving the Duchess behind.
