Pick up my new book The American Nightmare! => Click Here! In Today's Episode The world wants you to believe that you should just do whatever feels right in the moment, bend whenever temptation shows up, and chase comfort at all costs. But that is a trap that will destroy your peace. I am here to tell you that superior men do not live by their mood; they live by a strict model. Your word has to hold, and a no must mean an absolute, final no—whether that means shutting down flirting from another woman to protect your marriage, or telling your buddies you aren't playing poker because your relationship is struggling and needs your focus. In this Tuesday episode, we are breaking down the battle of feelings versus standards. If you do not have a principal model built on peace, freedom, and family structure, your standards will slide the second temptation shows up. You can either choose to suffer with purpose on your own terms, or you will suffer completely unprepared when the storm hits. Tomorrow we build the Protector's Code, but today you need to decide if you live by your model or your mood. Warriors Rise! Ready to stop battling worry, intrusive thoughts, difficult emotions, and nervous system activation? Explore the End The Anxiety Program and Monthly Recovery Coaching at https://anxietyguyprograms.com Description: In today's episode, we explore 3 ways your inner protector may be keeping anxiety alive: worry, anticipation, and regret. Your inner protector is constantly trying to keep you safe, prepared, and in control, but when it becomes overactive, it can keep you trapped in what might happen, what could go wrong, or what you wish you had done differently. We'll look at how worry feeds uncertainty, anticipation creates fear before anything happens, and regret keeps you emotionally tied to the past. The goal isn't to fight this protective part of you, but to recognize when protection has become overprotection and begin responding with more trust, flexibility, and presence. A powerful question to ask is: "Is this protecting me from something happening right now, or is it trying to protect me from uncertainty?" Pick up my new book The American Nightmare! => Click Here! In Today's Episode Every single hard thing you dodge, every easy path you take, and every duty you tell yourself can wait is the exact reason you feel anxious and unsettled. Deep down, you always know when you are avoiding what must be done. I am here to tell you that comfort today is just a loan, and life will always collect that debt with heavy, unavoidable interest. This week, we are confronting the cost of the avoidant man and learning why the superior man chooses his suffering before life forces it upon him. We must stop avoiding things, step into our truth spiritually, physically, and financially, and protect our families. Here is how we are breaking down our battle plan this week: Monday and Tuesday we focus on strategy and look at feelings versus standards. Wednesday we break down the tactical framework of the Protector's Code. Thursday we put boots on the ground with daily execution. Friday we wrap it all up and get our shit together Many of these topics may feel repetitive, but we have to repeat these truths over and over until they get deeply ingrained in your subconscious mind and become an unconscious activity. UNHUSTLED starts next week. August 25, 26, and 27 at 11:00 am Central. I'm breaking down my entire mechanism, showing you all five patterns, and giving you the diagnostic so you can see exactly which one is running you and what to do about it. This is free right now. It becomes a paid masterclass going forward. Register here: https://go.shaminataylor.com/unhustled If your success has created more money but less freedom, is it actually working? I could have called this episode "why your work ethic is costing you your wealth," because that's what this really is. This one is for the hustler. The doer. The woman crushing her goals, checking off the list, winning constantly, and multitasking while she listens to this right now. I used to be her. Getting it all done was what ambition looked like to me. So let me be clear before we go further: I am never going to tell you to be less ambitious. We're not retiring your ambition. We're retiring the survival state you think you need in order to have the success. Because survival is not a business strategy. You didn't build your business to become an employee of it. If the only way it makes money is if you personally do the work, that's not a business, that's a job that owns you. And here's the part nobody says out loud: when you're already maxed out, you start subconsciously pushing money away. You can't imagine taking on more clients, because who would serve them? So you chase another strategy, another lead gen play, another sales tweak, and none of it moves, because the cap isn't in the strategy. It's in you. Four signs you're running on hustle: Your revenue grows, but your responsibility grows faster You hired a team, but everything still lands back on you Taking time off creates anxiety instead of freedom You've made more money, but slowing down still doesn't feel safe Then I break down The Power Pattern™, my trademarked process. Your pattern is the lens you see the world through, and it shapes every decision you make. The Controller takes the work back instead of delegating. The Prover works harder to earn the next level. The Pusher adds another offer, another hour, and never stops. The Pleaser overdelivers and undercharges. And the Protector delays the very move that would make her more visible, more known, more powerful. I also go deeper on my client Heather. Thirteen years running her cleaning company, a Cornell graduate, and still cleaning houses herself six years ago. Her months since she started the work: $146,000. Then $167,000. Then $191,000. July closed at $213,000. She restructured her leadership, released team members she'd been carrying, and took eleven days off without worrying about her business, something she says she has never done in her life. UNHUSTLED isn't becoming passive. It isn't lowering your standards, losing your ambition, ignoring strategy, or sitting in a bubble bath waiting for money. It's refusing to use pressure, control, proving, over-functioning, and nervous system overload as your growth strategy.

Part IIIntroductionWords will mean little now. We use them but as guides on which we do not now depend. For now we seek direct experience of truth alone. The lessons that remain are merely introductions to the times in which we leave the world of pain, and go to enter peace. Now we begin to reach the goal this course has set, and find the end toward which our practicing was always geared. Now we attempt to let the exercise be merely a beginning. For we wait in quiet expectation for our God and Father. He has promised He will take the final step Himself. And we are sure His promises are kept. We have come far along the road, and now we wait for Him. We will continue spending time with Him each morning and at night, as long as makes us happy. We will not consider time a matter of duration now. We use as much as we will need for the result that we desire. Nor will we forget our hourly remembrance in between, calling to God when we have need of Him as we are tempted to forget our goal.We will continue with a central thought for all the days to come, and we will use that thought to introduce our times of rest, and calm our minds at need. Yet we will not content ourselves with simple practicing in the remaining holy instants which conclude the year that we have given God. We say some simple words of welcome, and expect our Father to reveal Himself, as He has promised. We have called on Him, and He has promised that His Son will not remain unanswered when he calls His Name. Now do we come to Him with but His Word upon our minds and hearts, and wait for Him to take the step to us that He has told us, through His Voice, He would not fail to take when we invited him. He has not left His Son in all his madness, nor betrayed His trust in Him. Has not His faithfulness earned Him the invitation that He seeks to make us happy? We will offer it, and it will be accepted. So our times with Him will now be spent. We say the words of invitation that His Voice suggests, and then we wait for Him to come to us.Now is the time of prophecy fulfilled. Now are all ancient promises upheld and fully kept. No step remains for time to separate from its accomplishment. For now we cannot fail. Sit silently and wait upon your Father. He has willed to come to you when you have recognized it is your will He do so. And you could have never come this far unless you saw, however dimly, that it is your will.I am so close to you we cannot fail. Father, we give these holy times to You, in gratitude to Him Who taught us how to leave the world of sorrow in exchange for its replacement, given us by You. We look not backward now. We look ahead, and fix our eyes upon the journey's end. Accept these little gifts of thanks from us, as through Christ's vision we behold a world beyond the one we made, and take that world to be the full replacement of our own.And now we wait in silence, unafraid and certain of Your coming. We have sought to find our way by following the Guide You sent to us. We did not know the way, but You did not forget us. And we know that You will not forget us now. We ask but that Your ancient promises be kept which are Your Will to keep. We will with You in asking this. The Father and the Son, Whose holy Will created all that is, can fail in nothing. In this certainty, we undertake these last few steps to You, and rest in confidence upon Your Love, which will not fail the Son who calls to You.And so we start upon the final part of this one holy year, which we have spent together in the search for truth and God, Who is its one Creator. We have found the way He chose for us, and made the choice to follow it as He would have us go. His Hand has held us up. His Thoughts have lit the darkness of our minds. His Love has called to us unceasingly since time began. We had a wish that God would fail to have the Son whom He created for Himself. We wanted God to change Himself, and be what we would make of Him. And we believed that our insane desires were the truth. Now we are glad that this is all undone, and we no longer think illusions true. The memory of God is shimmering across the wide horizons of our minds. A moment more, and it will rise again. A moment more, and we who are God's Sons are safely home, where He would have us be.Now is the need for practice almost done. For in this final section, we will come to understand that we need only call to God, and all temptations disappear. Instead of words, we need but feel His Love. Instead of prayers, we need but call His Name. Instead of judging, we need but be still and let all things be healed. We will accept the way God's plan will end, as we received the way it started. Now it is complete. This year has brought us to eternity. One further use for words we still retain. From time to time, instructions on a theme of special relevance will intersperse our daily lessons and the periods of wordless, deep experience which should come afterwards. These special thoughts should be reviewed each day, each one of them to be continued till the next is given you. They should be slowly read and thought about a little while, preceding one of the holy and blessed instants in the day. We give the first of these instructions now. What is Forgiveness?Forgiveness recognizes what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred. It does not pardon sins and make them real. It sees there was no sin. And in that view are all your sins forgiven. What is sin, except a false idea about God's Son? Forgiveness merely sees its falsity, and therefore lets it go. What then is free to take its place is now the Will of God.An unforgiving thought is one which makes a judgment that it will not raise to doubt, although it is not true. The mind is closed, and will not be released. The thought protects projection, tightening its chains, so that distortions are more veiled and more obscure; less easily accessible to doubt, and further kept from reason. What can come between a fixed projection and the aim that it has chosen as its wanted goal?An unforgiving thought does many things. In frantic action it pursues its goal, twisting and overturning what it sees as interfering with its chosen path. Distortion is its purpose, and the means by which it would accomplish it as well. It sets about its furious attempts to smash reality, without concern for anything that would appear to pose a contradiction to its point of view.Forgiveness, on the other hand, is still, and quietly does nothing. It offends no aspect of reality, nor seeks to twist it to appearances it likes. It merely looks, and waits, and judges not. He who would not forgive must judge, for he must justify his failure to forgive. But he who would forgive himself must learn to welcome truth exactly as it is.Do nothing, then, and let forgiveness show you what to do, through Him Who is your Guide, your Savior and Protector, strong in hope, and certain of your ultimate success. He has forgiven you already, for such is His function, given Him by God. Now must you share His function, and forgive whom He has saved, whose sinlessness He sees, and whom He honors as the Son of God.LESSON 221Peace To My Mind. Let All My Thoughts Be Still.Father, I come to You today to seek the peace that You alone can give. I come in silence. In the quiet of my heart, the deep recesses of my mind, I wait and listen for Your Voice. My Father, speak to me today. I come to hear Your Voice in silence and in certainty and love, sure You will hear my call and answer me.Now do we wait in quiet.God is here, because we wait together. I am sure that He will speak to you, and you will hear. Accept my confidence, for it is yours. Our minds are joined. We wait with one intent; to hear our Father's answer to our call, to let our thoughts be still and find His peace, to hear Him speak to us of what we are, and to reveal Himself unto His Son.- Jesus Christ in ACIM

Welcome to Day 2915 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom. Day 2915 – Wisdom Nuggets – Psalm 146:1-10 Daily Wisdom Wisdom-Trek Podcast Script - Day 2915 Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps! I am Guthrie Chamberlain, and we are on Day 2915 of our Trek. The Purpose of Wisdom-Trek is to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, and to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. The title for today's Wisdom-Trek is: The Sovereign Creator and the Frailty of Princes – Unveiling the Eternal Helper On our previous podcast, on Day Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirteen, we reached a momentous milestone in our journey through the Book of Psalms, as we closed out Psalm One Hundred Forty-Five—the very last psalm explicitly attributed to King David in the Psalter. In that glorious acrostic hymn, we listened as the old warrior king handed off the baton of praise to every generation, exalting Yahweh's unsearchable greatness, His open-handed generosity, and His everlasting kingdom. Today, as we step onto Day Two Thousand Nine Hundred Fifteen of our trek, we enter a brand-new, breathtaking chapter in the Psalms. We are beginning what biblical scholars call the "Final Hallel"—a grand, five-psalm crescendo comprised of Psalms One Hundred Forty-Six through One Hundred Fifty. Every single one of these five concluding psalms begins and ends with the majestic Hebrew command: Hallelu-YAH—Praise the Lord! We are moving from the individual testimony of David into the unanimous, triumphant doxology of the entire redeemed assembly. Today, we step directly onto the trail of Psalm One Hundred Forty-Six, verses one through ten, discovering where true human hope must be anchored. The first segment is: The Unceasing Vow: Praise with Every Dying Breath Let us open our ears to the exuberant opening movement of this psalm, where the writer groups his initial thoughts together in verse one and verse two. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul. I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath. The psalmist begins with a passionate, double declaration of praise, commanding his own inner being: “Praise the Lord, O my soul!” He vows to pour out praise to Yahweh as long as he lives, continuing this song of adoration even with his very dying breath. To fully grasp the theological depth of these opening lines, we must view them through the Ancient Israelite divine-council worldview. In the ancient mindset, human life-breath—known as neshamah or ruach—was not merely a biological phenomenon. It was the direct, miraculous gift of life imparted into human nostrils by the Sovereign Creator Himself. The gods of the surrounding pagan nations were lifeless idols, carved from stone or wood, completely unable to breathe, speak, or grant life to their worshippers. But Yahweh is the vibrant, uncreated Source of all animated existence! Therefore, as long as divine breath fills human lungs, that breath is designed to return to its Source in continuous, grateful worship. The psalmist pledges that even when physical strength wanes, and the body approaches the grave, the final sound slipping past human lips will be an anthem of praise to the King of heaven. The second segment is: The Folly of Trusting Mortals: Princes Returning to Dust The narrative takes a stark, brilliant turn in verse three and verse four, contrasting the eternal God with the extreme frailty of human political power. Don't put your trust in human leaders; no human can save you. When their breath departs, they return to the earth; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Here, the psalmist issues an urgent, unvarnished warning: “Don't put your trust in human leaders; no human can save you.” He explains that when their breath departs, these leaders return to the dust of the earth, and on that exact day, all their grand political, economic, and military plans dissolve into absolute nothingness. To truly appreciate this warning, we must examine it through the cosmic framework of ancient history. In the ancient Near East, kings, princes, and emperors routinely claimed divine status, presenting themselves as living gods or unique representatives of powerful spiritual principalities. Subjects were tempted to place their ultimate hope, national security, and personal salvation in these powerful monarchs. But the psalmist strips away all royal pretense! He deliberately uses the Hebrew word adam for human, reminding us that even the most powerful prince is made of adamah—mere dust from the ground. When a mortal leader dies, his spirit leaves him, his body decays back into the soil, and every policy, treaty, and military campaign he engineered vanishes instantly. In a world full of shifting geopolitics, human arrogance, and ideological promises, true wisdom urges us never to anchor our ultimate trust in mortal leaders who cannot even save themselves. The third segment is: The Cosmic Creator: The Unshakeable Anchor of Hope Having exposed the futility of trusting in mortals, the psalmist points us directly to the unshakeable anchor of true joy, combining the logical thoughts found in verse five and verse six. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever. The text bursts forth with a glorious beatitude, declaring, “Joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.” The writer then grounds this joy in Yahweh's cosmic credentials, proclaiming that He made heaven, earth, the sea, and everything in them, and that He keeps every promise forever! This is a massive, explicit claim of supreme cosmic authority! In the ancient divine-council worldview, foreign nations believed that their localized deities ruled specific, limited domains—Baal ruled the skies and weather, Yam ruled the chaotic seas, and Mot ruled the underworld. But the psalmist declares that Yahweh, the God of Jacob, is the singular, ultimate Architect of all three cosmic tiers: heaven, earth, and the roaring oceans! While human rulers break treaties, default on promises, and pass away into dust, the Creator of the cosmos remains forever faithful. His character is unchangeable, His power is limitless, and His covenants are backed by the full, eternal authority of His heavenly throne. The fourth segment is: The King of Justice: Liberator, Healer, and Protector The psalmist now unfolds the practical, compassionate expression of Yahweh's rule on earth, weaving together the contiguous thoughts in verse seven, verse eight, and verse nine. He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly. The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. Look at this magnificent, nine-fold manifesto of divine justice! Yahweh gives justice to the oppressed, food to the hungry, freedom to prisoners, vision to the blind, and comfort to those weighed down by life's heavy burdens. He loves the godly, protects vulnerable foreigners, and sustains orphans and widows, while actively dismantling and frustrating the schemes of the wicked. This passage provides a staggering portrait of divine kingdom ethics. In the ancient world, pagan deities and earthly tyrants catered exclusively to the elite, exploiting the poor, the stranger, and the fatherless to build their monuments. But Yahweh proves His supreme kingship precisely by championing the most vulnerable and marginalized members of society! Notice how every single action is prefixed with the divine name: The Lord frees, The Lord opens eyes, The Lord lifts up, The Lord protects! This list directly anticipates the miracle ministry of Jesus Christ, who entered human history to fulfill these exact words—healing the blind, feeding the hungry, liberating spiritual captives, and bringing the gospel to the poor. Furthermore, while Yahweh embraces the humble, He sets Himself in direct opposition to the arrogant, ensuring that their oppressive plans will ultimately crumble into chaos. The fifth segment is: The Eternal Reign: Zion's Unending Anthem The psalm reaches its ultimate, triumphant crescendo in verse ten,...

Nick talks to Dr. Alok Trivedi (Dr. Rewire) to discuss the deep connection between genetics, neurology, and financial success, based on his book The 4 Brains of Money. Moving past traditional "money mindsets," Dr. Trivedi explains how individual neurotransmitter profiles—split into four primary types: Chaser, Protector, Receiver, and Bridge Builder—dictate how we make, manage, and potentially self-sabotage our wealth. By shifting from subjective beliefs to objective, DNA-based brain regulation, high achievers can learn how to prevent burnout, balance their nervous systems, and sustain long-term growth without crashing. KEY TAKEAWAYS Self-sabotage is often a biological crash: What many entrepreneurs label as "self-sabotage" is actually the nervous system trying to restore order after an overwhelming surge of dopamine and epinephrine. Your money behaviour is wired into your DNA: Our ability to handle risk, stress, and wealth growth is heavily influenced by inherited neurotransmitter profiles rather than just mindset. Mastery requires balancing all four brain types: True financial stability and personal well-being come from integrating the Chaser, Protector, Receiver, and Bridge Builder profiles rather than operating solely from one dominant state. Objective brain training beats subjective belief work: Lasting behavioural change comes from regulating the nervous system through vagal toning, balanced goal setting, and bio-individual lifestyle adjustments. BEST MOMENTS "Your beliefs are secondary to the neurotransmitters and the experiences you've had in the past based on your DNA." "It's not that there's self-sabotage happening... from a neurochemistry standpoint, you have epinephrine and norepinephrine balancing out this massive surge of dopamine that the body can't maintain anymore." "You're using a 20-year-old brain for a 50-year-old body... That's creating a gap, and the biology tells you that." "When do you stop doing this brain training? Never. When do you stop lifting weights? When do you stop optimising? Never." VALUABLE RESOURCES Want to grow and scale your business? The Lord is my Shepherd: my Provider, my Protector, my Prize.
You started the journey with so much hope. You signed the marriage covenant, held the newborn child, or walked into the office on day one of your new career, and it felt like a grand adventure. But then the miles started to add up, the terrain hit like a brick wall, and suddenly you found yourself stuck in the ravine of your actual life, staring at the daunting wall of tomorrow. In this episode, Pastor Steve McKenzie opens up Psalm 121 to meet us in those exact moments of raw, honest anxiety. When the road leaves you empty and blistered, looking up at looming threats and the false promises of quick-fix shortcuts, the Scriptures offer something far better than a polished lecture. We discover a Companion walking right beside us on the narrow ledge, a Protector who refuses to sleep while you suffer. This message is a visceral reminder that when the blazing heat of life burns you alive or the freezing panic of the night keeps you awake, you are not traveling alone. Christ has already walked the ultimate hill of suffering on our behalf, laying down His life so that your soul remains permanently secure. You can finally relax your white-knuckle grip, knowing that the God who keeps the universe is keeping you in His boundless grace.

Somewhere between rushing to sports practices, managing screen time, and surviving the daily grind, the joy of parenting can get swallowed up. We want to build an incredible legacy, but chronic stress can make us reactive, frustrated, and disconnected. In this episode of The Impactful Parent, host Kristina Campos sits down with author, dad, and CPA Brian Gray to discuss his game-changing book, "Suck Less, Laugh More: A 4-Part Formula for Being a Great Dad." Brian opens up about his raw, personal journey of rebuilding his family from scratch when it was on the brink—not by following impossible parenting theories, but through the hard, rewarding work of emotional intelligence. Kristina and Brian break down the four core archetypes that live inside every father:
