Teddy's adventures continue! Written by Joan G. Robinson
2014 erschien 'Erinnerungen an Marnie', der zweite Film des Regisseurs Hiromasa Yonebayashi, den er nach 'Arrietty - Die wundersame Welt der Borger' für das Studio Ghibli produzierte. Während er bei 'Arrietty' noch stark von seinem Sensei Miyazaki-sama unterstützt wurde, so konnte er sich bei 'Marnie' nun komplett von Miyazaki lösen und ganz und gar eigene Wege gehen. Basierend auf dem Buch 'Marnie was there' von Joan G. Robinson ist Yonebayashi jedenfalls ein wunderschöner und großartiger Film voller Vergebung und Herzenswärme gelungen. Jedoch wurde der Film überschattet von der Mitteilung, dass 'Marnie' der letzte Film des Studio Ghibli sein wird, da das Studio plante, sich umzustrukturieren, um sich aus der Produktion von Kinofilmen zurückzuziehen. Zum Glück aber war dieser Plan etwas, dass dem Studio Ghibli zur Abwechslung mal nicht gelungen ist, denn inzwischen sind noch zwei weitere Filme und sogar eine Fernsehserie erschienen. Aber auch wenn 'Erinnerungen an Marnie' tatsächlich der letzte Film gewesen wäre, so hätte es kaum einen schöneren Abschied von der Kinowelt geben können.
