Hello there, I hope everyone’s enjoying their Sunday evening and are fully recovered after a very busy weekend. On this occasion we are proud to finally announce the first installment of our podcast.  COMPOUND 01 is an all vinyl mix tape recorded live from KStarke Records by Hakim Murphy. Along the years Hakim’s musical styles ranged from house to techno and he began playing records in 1996 being influenced by the likes of Larry Heard , Robert Armani , Dance Mania , Relief and Cajual Records . Since then Hakim has ventured into production work and eventually founded two records labels in 2008: Machining Dreams; and Synapsis Records with Avondale Music Society. I hope you enjoy the mix as much as we do!
