Liris Crosse has truly been making The World Her Runway, and certainly knows how to slay by faith and not by sight. She’s been wowing us for years, but she was definitely introduced to the world in a new way when she was one of the first models to win the plus size modeling competition on Project Runway in Season 16. Now, she’s added author to her long resume, and doing it quite well might I add, with the release of her book “Make The World Your Runway: ”, a labor of love that highlights the importance of walking in purpose, being confident and how to tap into and own your genius. The “Naomi Campbell of Plus” and a force to be reckoned with on and off the runway, Liris has proven that knowing who you are and trusting God to lead your journey is the key to success. More than just her iconic scene in The Best Man, Liris has graced the cover of top magazines including American Vogue, Essence, British Cosmopolitan and Vibe. Liris walked the runway for Project Runway’s first ever plus-size collection at New York Fashion Week and was chosen for the show’s first season to include plus-size models. In November 2017, Liris was named one of the two model winners of Project Runway Season 16. Her new book, MAKE THE WORLD YOUR RUNWAY, is due for the holidays.
