The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: 4:05pm- Bill D'Agostino—Senior Research Analyst at Media Research Center—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to breakdown some of the best (and worst) clips from corporate media: Axios's Alex Thompson says the media needs to investigate Donald Trump's health + former FBI Director James Comey claims the Republican Party is “white supremacist adjacent.” 4:30pm- Rich was on Fox News earlier today (did he happen to mention that?) and debuted his new Tom Ford tie which he got on a (heavy) discount—but should he have purchased a “dogs playing poker” tie instead? PLUS, who was the best dressed president? Evidently it was Chester Arthur—who was so well-dressed that it annoyed Americans. He owned 80 pairs of trousers! 4:50pm- While speaking with reporters in Morristown, NJ, President Donald Trump said: “I'm not happy with what Putin is doing…he's sending rockets into cities and killing people. And I don't like it at all!”
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (05/27/2025): 3:05pm- In a series of articles published over the weekend, The New York Times examined the Democrat Party's continued struggles appealing to the American electorate. Shane Goldmacher writes that Democrats “are still searching for the path forward”—noting that the party spent $20 million studying their “erosion” of support with “young men” specifically. In another article, Goldmacher—alongside June Kim and Christine Zhang—evaluate “how Donald Trump has remade America's political landscape.” They document that 435 counties across the country became more “Democratic” from 2012 and 2024—however, 2,678 counties became more “Republican.” Further complicating matters is the 2030 census which is expected to cause comfortably blue states to lose electoral votes as citizens move to red states. You can read the articles here: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/25/us/politics/democratic-party-voters.html. And here: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/05/25/us/politics/trump-politics-democrats.html. 3:40pm- During a recent segment of Pod Save America, former Obama Advisor Dan Pfeiffer stated that Democrats are in “a huge bit of trouble” if they can't win Latino voters moving forward—and if Latinos continue to migrate towards the Republican Party (as is currently the trend), there is “no path” to victory in future presidential elections. 4:05pm- Bill D'Agostino—Senior Research Analyst at Media Research Center—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to breakdown some of the best (and worst) clips from corporate media: Axios's Alex Thompson says the media needs to investigate Donald Trump's health + former FBI Director James Comey claims the Republican Party is “white supremacist adjacent.” 4:30pm- Rich was on Fox News earlier today (did he happen to mention that?) and debuted his new Tom Ford tie which he got on a (heavy) discount—but should he have purchased a “dogs playing poker” tie instead? Dr. Coates is author of the book, “The Battle for the Jewish State: How Israel—and America—Can Win.” You can find it here: https://a.co/d/iTMA4Vb. 5:40pm- While speaking with the press in Morristown, New Jersey, President Donald Trump continued to insist that Harvard University must make changes in order to receive federal funding moving forward. The Trump Administration has called on the Ivy League university to prioritize the education of American students, eliminate anti-Semitism on campus, and hire faculty representing a diverse ideology. According to a 2023 Harvard Crimson poll, only 2.5% of Harvard's faculty openly identified as “conservative—with 77% labeling themselves as “liberal” or “very liberal.” 5:50pm- Clips of the Day: Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser goes to the pool, Emmanuel Macron's wife hits him in the face, and humanoid robot kick boxing is launched in China! 6:05pm- On Tuesday, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.—alongside FDA Commissioner Marty Makary and NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya—announced the CDC will no longer recommend Covid-19 vaccination for health children and pregnant women, removing the vaccines from the immunization schedule. 6:15pm- Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino announced that the agency will continue several unresolved investigations, including who brought cocaine into ...

My guest today has been an integral part of my feminist awakening. Celeste Barber's instagram posts - which parody the unattainable standards of the fashion and beauty industry - are both hilarious and revolutionary. Her work has helped a generation of women to feel better about their bodies - and made her a star in the process. (Plus she's been blocked by a few celebrities. Lol.) Barber began her account in 2015 as a jobbing actor. She now has almost 10 million followers, including Reese Witherspoon, Chelsea Handler and designer Tom Ford who ended up hiring her for a fashion campaign. We talk about imposter syndrome, ADHD, standing up to bullies and her Janet Jackson obsession. Kristie Clements started out in fashion as a receptionist at Vogue Magazine - and ended up being editor-in-chief for 13 years. In between the two jobs, she lived in Paris in the 1990s, at the height of the supermodel era, mixing with all the big names: Linda Evangelista, Galliano, Tom Ford. Michael Hutchence and Bono. She worries, now, that instead of changing our clothes, we can change our faces too easily and that there is a sameness in beauty today. Kirstie shares why she no longer looks in the mirror much anymore and why, in this stage of her life, a rich internal life is key.

What do Gucci, Tom Ford, and Sephora have in common? They all trust Darcy Barber to bring their creative visions to life. As the Executive Creative Director of FOAM Creative, Darcy is the mastermind behind some of the most breathtaking experiential events in the fashion and beauty world. She's the type of person who walks into a room and instantly makes it more fun, more beautiful, and way more interesting. But that's just one side of her brilliance. Beyond the high-profile brands and stunning events, Darcy is a passionate advocate for sustainability in fashion, proving that innovation and upcycling can go hand in hand. She once repurposed a pile of discarded luxury fabric from a major retailer and turned it into a sold-out clothing line—then sold it back to them. Legendary. In this episode, we dive deep into her journey from corporate life to creative freedom, her love for hands-on artistry, and how crafting, community, and playfulness keep her constantly inspired. Darcy shares why she believes everyone has creativity within them (yes, even you!), and how we can break free from the fear of failure to just start making things. Whether it's through her DIY Craft Nights in NYC, her fashion sustainability projects, or her larger-than-life event productions, she is always bringing people together to create something unforgettable. Darcy is hilarious, wildly inspiring, and effortlessly cool—her stories will make you laugh, rethink what's possible, and maybe even pick up a new creative hobby. For years, celebrity stylists were seen as separate from those consulting for brands and shaping fashion imagery. But the red carpet, like concerts and live performances, is its own battleground - one where fashion meets spectacle and commands cultural attention. Today, with "earned media value" driving the industry, the role of the celebrity stylist has become central, crafting moments that break through the algorithmic noise and recall an era when culture felt more unified. Few understand this better than Jahleel Weaver, whose work with Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and Taylor Russell has positioned him as a defining force at the intersection of fashion, music, and celebrity. In this episode, we move beyond the spectacle to discuss why the work matters more than how it's received, the power of staying present, and the creative force of surprise. For Weaver, influence is a byproduct, not the goal. "Love doing this podcast stuff, but you know, in general, I would love for the work to just speak for itself and not have to say anything." - Jahleel Weaver Episode Highlights: From Maryland to the Global Stage – Jahleel Weaver reflects on being the first American-born member of his Panamanian-Jamaican family, growing up without creative role models, and how music, film, and fashion shaped his path. The Icons That Shaped His Eye – Madonna's reinvention, Tom Ford's world-building, and hip-hop's lyrical name-dropping all played a role in defining Weaver's early understanding of style and cultural impact. The Leap Into Styling – A post-recession moment of clarity led him to take styling seriously, which led to an introduction to Mel Ottenberg—a meeting that would change everything. Building Rihanna's Visual Legacy – Since 2011, Weaver has been a key force behind Rihanna's evolving image, from styling to creative direction, launching Fenty Corp, and ultimately leading to his role as deputy creative director at LVMH's Fenty Maison. The Art of Storytelling Through Style – The difference between styling an individual and shaping an entire brand's creative vision, and why research is at the heart of it all. Mistakes, Learning, and the Internet's Watchful Eye – Why failure is essential to growth, even in an era where everything is recorded, and how staying true to his instincts became a guiding principle. Music and Fashion: A Lifelong Dialogue – Hip-hop was his first introduction to luxury fashion, serving as both a cultural educator and a gateway to brands that would later become part of his work. Launching His Own Studio – After a decade with Rihanna, Weaver added a new role, creating a studio where he could expand his creative vision across music, film, and fashion. Has Fashion Become Too Popular for Its Own Good? – Weaver discusses how fashion's explosion in accessibility has blurred the line between admiration and true passion for the industry. What is Contemporary Now? – For Weaver, it's about being fully present. With so much focus on nostalgia and the future, he sees contemporaneity as fully inhabiting the now. This episode was co-produced with SEF.Growth, the Swiss Economic Forum's Growth initiative to support Swiss startups and SMEs with growth plans free of charge.Click here to subscribe to our newsletter.About Thomas Schori:Thomas Schori is the co-founder and CEO of tide ocean, a startup turning 100% ocean-bound plastic into safe, useful products. Thomas worked for his family's business, Braloba Group, before co-founding tide ocean in 2018.Originally linked to the Swiss watch industry through its mother company, Braloba Group, tide ocean was founded when Thomas investigated the possibility of using recycled polyester yarn for watch straps. Nowadays, tide ocean has teamed up with multiple partner organizations to collect and reuse what already exists. The result is an award-winning material that comes in the form of recycled plastic pellets for plastic injection, recycled polyester yarn for textile applications, and recycled plastic filament for 3D printing.Already when founding the company, Thomas and his team realized that their business model could not be founded solely on fixing the damage of plastic pollution, but must also strive towards preventing it. This means they not only clean oceans and rivers, but they also prevent plastic from ending up in the ocean by employing plastic collectors in developing countries (like Mexico and Thailand) and paying them by the kilogram. This plastic is brought to tide ocean's ecohubs, where salaried employees sort the plastic, so that it can then be shredded, washed and reshaped, resulting in a new plastic of 97% virgin quality — quality so high that consumers can't tell the difference. These employees also get health insurance and support with language learning, IDs (which are not as common or as easy to obtain in developing countries) and education.tide ocean's opportunity is huge: 14 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year, and if we recycled merely 1% of it, we would run a turnover of 300M. Not to mention, of course, the social and environmental impact. tide ocean currently counts among its customers brands like Migros and Tom Ford. They recently raised money through the Swisspreneur Syndicate. The cover portrait was edited by www.smartportrait.ioDon't forget to give us a follow on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin, so you can always stay up to date with our latest initiatives.
