In the last episode, we talked our predictions for our upcoming trip to MCM Comic Con in Manchester. This week, we're diving into what happened at Manchester Central, who we met and what you lot could expect from attending in the future. Also, we have a grass update (which is what you're all tuning in for really), and the most stupid thing Vic's ever seen in a Cinema - EVER. Did you attend this year's MCR con? If so, what did you think? Let us know over on Twitter @Vault_Unlocked.
We're back with a new episode and it's already going in a different direction than what you'd normally expect! This time we're on the road at MCM Manchester Comic Con from this past weekend. Things begin with Jeremy Graves and Keith Copping after MCM Manchester, just to confuse you, having a little catchup that also involves some details about our presence at the Tokonatsu Festival this coming weekend! Then we go back in time to MCM Manchester from this past weekend with Jeremy Graves, Andy Hanley, Keith Copping and Kat Hall as they give some you some thoughts on the event (and some ramblings in general) recorded on not only the show floor, but also during the van ride back from Manchester just hours after the event ended. (What can possibly go wrong...?) Plus we get a few moments to talk with Nathan Mills from our good friends at Koei Tecmo Europe, who were promoting their latest game based on Attack on Titan, A.O.T. II Final Battle, during the show! And if that wasn't enough we even get to speak to a man you've more than likely seen at a convention in the UK in some capacity before, the head honcho from our good friends at Gundam Mad, Gurinder Gurm, to talk about not only MCM Manchester but also what people can expect from the Gundam Wing section at the upcoming TFNation event! Gurinder is one of the people heavily involved in the planning for this, and he gives you a preview of what will be happening across the weekend! It's different show to normal, and admittedly the recording quality of the audio varies in places, but it's something different and something we're hope you'll enjoy listening to. The Geektown Radio podcast returns after a very wet weekend at MCM Manchester Comic-Con! I have the lovely Bex Trista of TristaBytes with me who was also (eventually...) at the Con, to chat about all the comics, guests, and various other geeky stuff we saw up north, plus bring you the usual tv & film new and air date info. We also have an interview with Bruce Wayne himself, 'Gotham' star David Mazouz. For the last five years, David Mazouz has been portraying a young Bruce Wayne on ‘Gotham’, where we’ve seen him grow from a scared 14yr old boy to The Dark Knight himself, under the watchful eye of faithful butler and father figure Alfred (Sean Pertwee). We had the chance to pose him some questions about his work on the show, and what comes next for the young actor. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Recorded live onstage at MCM Manchester Comic Con! We talk to voice acting legend Robin Atkin Downes, star of Uncharted, Skyrim, Batman V Superman and many more. The post #88 Robin Atkin Downes – Live at Manchester MCM appeared first on Orbital Jigsaw.

Along with all the usual tv air date info and tv news, we have another great behind-the-scenes of Hollywood interview for you, this week with Production Designer Judy Rhee.Judy is an experienced production designer whose work can be seen across tv, film and in commercials. Her previous project includes working with Steve Conrad on the Amazon series ‘Patriot’ starring Michael Dorman, and political satire ‘Alpha House’ starring John Goodman, also for Amazon. She also worked on movies such as '2 Days in New York', co-written and directed by Julie Delpy, and ‘The Greatest’ starring Susan Sarandon, Carey Mulligan, and Michael Shannon. Her latest two projects see Judy join a couple of established worlds, in the form of ‘Breaking Bad’ spin-off ‘Better Call Saul’, and Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’, both of which air on Netflix in the UK. Judy joined 'Better Call Saul' for the upcoming 4th Season, which comes to Netflix on Tuesday, 7th August 2018, and continues the story of lawyer, Jimmy McGill, and his transformation into the rather shadier Saul Goodman. We chat about the new season, what it's like stepping into such an established world, and dealing with new (and old...) sets for the show. [Recorded on 26th July 2017] So, let's get straight to a fact here: the majority of the team is knackered and probably not all there. It's been one of those weeks - not to mention that most of the team were loading a van bound for MCM Manchester Comic Con this weekend - so if it feels like we might not be our usual chirpy selves that might be why. But that doesn't stop us Jeremy, Jessica (for a short time), Andrew, Kat, Keith and for the first-time our events manager Chris from bringing you about 40 minutes of chatter. Chatter on the show week including the fact we (and Kat - as she's in the comic village representing her awesome art) at MCM Manchester Comic Con this weekend, seagulls, snap chat, the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist promotional posters, the Death Note live-action trailer and perhaps mentions (and possible updates) on the following anime in no particular order: Space Dandy, Death Parade, idol anime in general, Lupin the 3rd, Eureka Seven, Fairy Tail Dragon Cry. Plus, perhaps the most important question that will ever be asked is brought to the table! What is it? You’ll have to listen to find out! A fun podcast as always! We hope you enjoy listening to it and we'll be back next Friday with another episode for you. We'll be putting out the call for questions on our social media channels early next week, so stay tuned!
