When is the last time you did something that genuinely scared you?In Week 1 of Uncharted, we begin our journey through the book of Joshua and discover a truth we desperately need in today's world: courage isn't the absence of fear—it's trusting God enough to take the next step anyway. As Joshua stands on the edge of the Promised Land following the death of Moses, God gives him a simple but powerful command: "Be strong and courageous." Why? Because the source of our courage isn't found in ourselves—it's found in the presence of God.If you're facing uncertainty, a difficult decision, a step of faith, or a season where the future feels unclear, this message is for you.You don't have to be fearless to be faithful. You just have to trust that the One who goes before you is bigger than what lies ahead.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Quatorze ans.

Making money online used to mean perfect Instagram feeds and 100K followers. Not anymore. This week we sat down with TikTok Shop creator Ayanna Sabrina to talk about the wild west of live shopping and why it's one of the biggest money making opportunities for women right now, especially if you're over 30 and done playing small. No, you don't need to dance. No, you don't need to be an “influencer.” You just need to know how to talk to people and show upIf you've been waiting for a sign to start a side hustle that doesn't require a degree, a boss, or pretending to be 22... this is it. This isn't just about TikTok. It's about women claiming space in the next wave of e-commerce before it gets saturated.

That's the look of a new No Man's Sky update. This week, we've got impressions of the first few hours of IO Interactive's 007: First Light. What happens when you take James Bond, throw in a little Uncharted, and a little Hitman: World of Assassination? Apparently, you get one of the year's finest AAA offerings, because this game is amazing. We've also got a whole rundown on Bubsy 4D, now that the full game is out. And with a second Requiem playthrough completed, we've got a lot of talk on what works and what doesn't in the latest from Resident Evil. And there's some interesting news this week, on the lead-up to June's big slate of showcases. Check out the show on BlueSky @MarkersOnTheMap.
Guest post by Shefaly M. Yogendra, Ph.D. Her book "Uncharted Spaces. Reset the Agenda. Reimagine the Boardroom." is out now. A recent Institute of Directors Ireland snap poll of Irish business leaders found that most directors use AI tools with varying degrees of confidence, and a majority believes AI adoption is critical for competitiveness and relevance. However fully two-thirds are not confident about their understanding of the impact of the Regulation of AI Bill 2026 on their business. Fewer than half of the boards have discussed AI governance in the last year. This suggests a gap in broader AI fluency and hence potentially deficient guardrails and governance mechanisms. While there is huge opportunity, risks need to be managed smartly too. E.g. a 3GEM research report found that while 89% of Irish SME workers actively use AI tools in their daily workflows, only 44% of those organizations have a formal AI policy or strategy. In plain English this is a shadow IT challenge. On steroids. How could Irish SME boards enable strategic success for their businesses, such as by ensuring safe, responsible, compliant AI adoption? Here are some actionable ideas. Relevant skills: A recent EY CHRO 2030 survey found that Generative AI adoption and the transition to a green economy are both accelerating at the same time. This means that skills that did not really crystallise even five years ago are needed urgently. It is crucial to get hiring right and to build strategic, ongoing skills development capacity in the business. This change would start with the board and the executive leadership team, underpinned by a regularly updated, dynamic skills matrix. The skills matrix needs to move away from box-ticking with the static safety of well-known employers and past big titles, and move towards active exploration of experience, capabilities, and evidence of growth and reflection. This will of course change sourcing, interviewing, and appointment of candidates, and then how the board evaluates its own construction continually for relevance. Relevant mindsets: In addition to hiring for demonstrable capabilities and skills, future-relevant boards need mindsets that shape the business for future success. A changed mindset would view compliance and governance not as burdens or checklists but as enablers of growth and client acquisition. Cubic Telecom's well-known governance evolution serves as an illustrative example. Following a capital event where SoftBank became a majority owner, the board reconfigured itself to balance global ambition with local roots and operational agility. SoftBank-appointed directors serve alongside strategic customer observers from Audi and Qualcomm, while the founder and CEO Barry Napier helps bridge the company's Irish product roots with its international ambition. Barespace provides another live example, this time of how high-calibre, enterprise-grade governance could be designed and implemented well, right from the start. Following a €2.9 million seed round in September 2025, the company appointed prominent Irish VC and tech veteran Brian Caulfield as Chair of the board. Its strategic advisers include Rick Kelley and Barry Napier, who bring growth and strategic nous to the boardroom right from the foundational stage. The wisdom of these choices is borne out in the experiences of building new businesses, where specialists, hands-on warriors and famous names all play specific roles in the shaping of the business. Relevant cadence: Future-relevant boards need a different workflow and cadence than the current practice of quarterly, compliance-centric approaches. Rolling strategic reviews would serve the business well especially with shrinking and super-short technology hype cycles. These hype cycles do not need reactive, kneejerk responses but steady and calm leadership to steer the business through a time of rapid change. Wild success, however we define it, is not accidental but deliberate. Culture as the underpinning e...

I love James Bond movies. I grew up with them. I just talked about having gone through every Bond film a few weeks ago (there's 28, if you include The Rock, and you should!). When I watched the marketing for First Light, it looked like a Hitman game. A very well done, excellently made, Hitman game. And that meant I was out. I'm not hating on Hitman. Blood Money is a classic, and as far as I'm concerned the peak of the series because after that I never got into it again. World of Assassination is supposed to be incredible - if you love Hitman and haven't played it - get after it. This is by no means trying to talk you out of anything Hitman. But... Is James Bond right for a Hitman game? It didn't land for me. For whatever reason, James Bond means car chases, fast action, gun fights. In game form, that screams shooter to us. First or Third person, but shooter. Not stealth, not sandbox, not puzzles. None of those things are bad, and judging by the reviews IO interactive did a fantastic job. So, why is the game tracking low sales? Well, who is this game for? Hitman fans? James Bond fans? Uhhh... Uncharted fans??
Are you aware that there is a significant aspect of theology which directly affects Jewish outreach and evangelism, yet it is scarcely even acknowledged by today's Messianic movement?

252 Bobby and Jon are back for another candid, unscripted Tailoring Talk Magazine catch-up, this time covering Bond First Light, Project Hail Mary, electric cars, Apple rumours, Netflix recommendations, Dune, Bentley track days and the continuing saga of Jon's broken Nissan.Bobby and Jon return with another unscripted Tailoring Talk Magazine ramble, beginning with the upcoming Bond First Light game and somehow ending up with Apple rumours, folding iPads, Bentley track days, Netflix spy dramas and a Nissan dealership fire. This episode starts with a proper Bond and gaming catch-up as Bobby and Jon talk about why gaming has become therapy, why First Light might be the closest thing to new Bond for a while and whether the new 007 game looks more like Hitman, Uncharted or something in between. From there, things move into Project Hail Mary, including Bobby and Carolina's trip to see it at the BFI IMAX in 70mm, why the film has become such a rewatchable favourite and why some stories deserve to be seen on the biggest screen possible. There's also a healthy dose of electric car chat, including Bobby's early verdict on the new MINI, automatic parking, EV range anxiety, Jon's Kia EV3 plans and the truly ridiculous latest chapter in his long-running Nissan saga. Also discussed: Apple Focus Modes, using tech to separate work and home life, the BFI cinema experience, Billie Eilish cinema chaos, Dune, Denis Villeneuve's future Bond film, Netflix recommendations, The Boys, Daredevil Born Again, Bentley track days, Apple racing livery, the rumoured iPhone Fold and whether a folding iPad would actually make more sense. As always, it's candid, chaotic and completely unscripted.Timestamps / chapter markers00:00 - Hello, bonjour and guten tag00:32 - Bond First Light is almost here01:10 - Gaming as therapy and Bobby's Bond fix02:17 - First Light gameplay: Hitman meets Uncharted03:11 - Marathon, Pragmata and Final Fantasy on Switch04:42 - Is the new Bond too chatty?05:39 - Bluff mode, NPCs and Bond problem-solving06:25 - Bond outfits, DLC and the deluxe edition08:31 - The gold Bond controller09:28 - Largale Ray's Bond-style title sequence10:40 - Project Hail Mary at the BFI IMAX12:20 - Why Bobby loves Project Hail Mary so much13:01 - Seeing Project Hail Mary in 70mm15:20 - Blu-rays, streaming and owning films properly16:05 - Speed Racer in 4K17:54 - Carolina's Project Hail Mary obsession19:17 - Jon's Amazon hedge trimmer confession21:01 - What to do when Amazon refunds something that later appears22:45 - Bobby's MINI EV verdict23:53 - Advanced parking and automatic reversing25:58 - Jon's broken Nissan saga continues27:14 - The dealership fire and the Ombudsman case29:21 - MINI software updates, games and ITVX in the car30:30 - Kia EV3 and CarPlay Ultra31:01 - Bobby's MacBook Air and work-life separation31:40 - Apple Focus Modes and separating work from home33:57 - Cinema etiquette and switching phones off35:13 - Why the BFI audience experience is better36:39 - Dune Messiah and Denis Villeneuve39:00 - When will the next Bond film actually arrive?41:37 - Legends on Netflix and spy drama recommendations43:02 - Netflix value, Three Body Problem and Rebel Moon45:22 - Daredevil Born Again, The Boys and Disney Plus46:29 - Bentley track day and factory tour plans47:29 - Phil Schiller's Apple racing livery48:00 - iPhone Fold rumours49:02 - Folding iPads and naked iPad use49:58 - WWDC, Vision Pro and Steam gaming rumours50:52 - Wrapping upJames Bond, Bond First Light, 007, Project Hail Mary, BFI IMAX, electric cars, MINI EV, Kia EV3, Apple, iPhone Fold, WWDC, Dune, Denis Villeneuve, Netflix, The Boys, Daredevil Born Again, gaming, PlayStation, Tailoring Talk Magazine, Roberto Revilla, Jon Evans Hosted on Acast. Known for his charismatic roles and deep connection to geek culture, Fillion has amassed a variety of collectibles that reflect his love for gaming and science fiction. This discussion naturally transitions into a detailed examination of Nathan Fillion's action figures, highlighting some of the most iconic pieces in his collection, including figures from his roles in popular series like Firefly and Castle. The guys share anecdotes about the significance of these figures to Fillion's fandom and how they represent his journey as an actor who has embraced his nerdy side. As the conversation evolves, they delve into the world of video games, specifically focusing on the Uncharted franchise. The guys reminisce about Nathan Drake, the charming treasure hunter and protagonist of the series, and how Fillion once starred in an Uncharted fan film that captured the essence of the game. They discuss the impact of fan films on the gaming community and how Fillion's portrayal resonated with fans, sparking interest in the possibility of a more prominent role in future adaptations. The discussion takes an exciting turn when Joe introduces the new teaser trailer for Zach Cregger's upcoming adaptation of Resident Evil. The guys analyze the trailer, sharing their thoughts on the direction Cregger seems to be taking with the beloved horror franchise. They explore the elements that make Resident Evil a staple in both gaming and film, including its rich lore, iconic characters, and the blend of horror and action that has captivated audiences for years. As the episode progresses, the conversation shifts gears as they delve into the nostalgic realm of classic television with a talk about the anticipated Murder She Wrote movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis. The guys reflect on the original series, which featured Angela Lansbury as the brilliant amateur detective Jessica Fletcher, and discuss its lasting impact on the mystery genre. This leads them to a deep dive into the history of the show, examining its cultural significance, memorable episodes, and the unique charm that made it a beloved staple of television. In an intriguing twist, they explore a fan theory that has circulated among Murder She Wrote enthusiasts, which posits a surprising connection between Jessica Fletcher and some of the show's most infamous villains. This theory not only adds layers to the character of Fletcher but also invites listeners to reconsider the narrative structure of the series and the clever writing that kept audiences guessing until the very end. The guys share their personal thoughts on this theory, sparking a lively debate about the nature of storytelling in mystery shows and how fan interpretations can breathe new life into classic narratives.Official Website: https://www.comesnaturallypodcast.comOfficial Merchandise: https://shop.spreadshirt.com/comes-naturally-podcast/iTunes: http://tinyurl.com/kqkgackFacebook: http://tinyurl.com/myovgm8Tumblr: http://tinyurl.com/m7a6mg9Twitter: @ComesNaturalPodYouTube: http://tiny.cc/5snxpy

Most videogames that receive cinematic adaptations are big - the likes of Uncharted, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog and Resident Evil, all of which have been adapted, some several times, are among the biggest games in history, and their cinematic versions are typically intended to be blockbusters. Exit 8 is not. It is an independent Japanese game made by one person, turned into a low-budget, high-concept, Japanese horror film. And most cinematic adaptations of videogames are not very good. The medium has a long history of failing to translate well to film. Exit 8 makes a success of the transition, finding plenty of space in the slight source material to tell a story about routine, fear of change, and personal improvement. We discuss what makes the adaptation work and where it might not, think through the story's internal logic, and, as we did with Godzilla Minus One, remark upon the film's visual quality given its small budget, asking where all that money goes when Hollywood spends ten times the amount to achieve the same results. Exit 8 is a welcome surprise, particularly to Mike, who really thought it'd be rubbish. Recorded on 27th April 2026.

It's mid-May, which can mean only one thing: We're at the point in the calendar when most companies release their financials for the previous fiscal year. Sony is one such organization, reporting a relatively flat year-on-year picture both generally, and with PlayStation in particular. With PS5 sales slowing down all the while the console is becoming more expensive, and with recent Housemarque exclusive Saros seemingly selling softly, does Sony have an uphill battle to keep PlayStation relevant? Or will the inevitable PlayStation 6 -- not to mention PS5's likely-strong swan song next year -- be enough to keep the ever-distracted masses engaged with the ecosystem? We discuss. Plus: Sony's second and third party lead gives a candid interview, 007: First Light goes gold, a new externally-manufactured DualSense controller has hit the market, PlayStation Plus Game Catalog receives a refresh, and more. Then: Listener inquiries! Why did so many people believe Game Informer was teasing a Grand Theft Auto VI cover? Wu Zhuoling (吴卓玲) https://soundcloud.com/zhuoling_wu Music Producer | Live Electronic Artist | DJ | Co-founder of Small Projects Records A chameleonic pioneer at the forefront of China's live electronic counterculture, Wu Zhuoling has built a reputation for deeply immersive performances and genre-defying sound. Performing exclusively with hardware, she creates live sets that guide audiences through a fluid sonic journey - from soothing ambient and experimental downtempo to soulful electronica, progressive IDM, and driving leftfield techno. Her music reflects a distinct artistic identity shaped by her cultural roots and over twenty years of production experience. Before turning to electronic music, Zhuoling was a folk singer and fronted a trip-hop band in the 2000s, an influence still felt in her melodic sensibility and lyrical story-telling. In her current electronic work, she weaves intricate sound design and rhythmic precision with organic warmth, crafting sonic landscapes that feel both progressive and deeply human. Zhuoling has performed extensively across China's major clubs, live houses and festivals, as well as at art exhibitions, fashion shows, audiovisual showcases, and open-air venues set against natural landscapes. Her international footprint continues to expand, with tours in New Zealand (2024) and the United States (2025), alongside performances in the Netherlands, Germany, and Japan. Her standing in the Chinese electronic scene is reflected by being invited as support act for the China tours of several renowned international artists such as Max Cooper (2024), Rival Consoles (2026) and Bonobo (2026). Her acclaimed releases - Another Shore (2022, LP), Uncharted (2023, EP), Reverie (2024, LP) and Uncharted II (2026, EP) - mark her evolution as one of China's most distinctive voices in live electronic music. Today, we explore what it means to invest in a world defined by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA). We discuss why geopolitical shocks... especially supply-driven ones... are creating persistent trends across markets, and why trend-following strategies are thriving despite strong equity performance. The conversation dives into how investors process information (or fail to), the limits of central bank responses to supply shocks, and why markets may not be fully pricing in current risks. Mark also shares new research comparing hedge fund strategies under different volatility regimes, highlighting why managed futures stand out as a robust diversifier. The episode closes with a forward-looking discussion on AI, replication strategies, and the growing role of narrative versus data in investment decision-making.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Mark on Twitter.Episode TimeStamps:00:00 – Introduction: Preparing for the unpredictable00:36 – Entering a VUCA world: volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity02:00 – “Uncharted territory” in markets and beyond05:30 – Central banks, leadership changes, and policy uncertainty07:16 – Oil markets, OPEC shifts, and geopolitical tension10:16 – Trend-following performance update and market context14:06 – Reverse engineering CTAs and the role of AI18:42 – Replication strategies vs. true alpha22:41 – Trend-following performance metrics (April update)24:43 – Supply shocks and why they're harder to manage28:53 – Are markets underreacting to geopolitical risk?31:53 – Information overload, ambiguity, and trend persistence34:54 – Why more data doesn't mean better decisions38:34 – Government intervention vs. market-driven trends40:30 – Pandemic policies and unintended inflation43:00 – New research: hedge fund strategies vs. volatility regimes47:16 – Why managed futures stand out as diversifiers51:11 – Narrative vs. data in investment decisions55:36 – AI, sentiment analysis, and the future of models58:46 – Simplicity vs. complexity in strategy design01:00:49 – Bundling vs. unbundling investment strategies01:03:18 – Momentum crashes and new research directionsCopyright © 2025 – CMC AG – All Rights Reserved----PLUS: Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you in your investment Journey:1. eBooks that cover key topics that you need to know about In my eBooks, I put together some key discoveries and things I have learnt during the more than 3 decades I have worked in the Trend Following industry, which I hope you will find useful. When Joy, known online as Compassion & Consoles, joined MommaFoxFire on Even Tacos Fall Apart, the conversation went deep fast. Joy is a licensed professional counselor, a doctoral candidate focusing on anxiety and trauma, and someone who uses her own lived experience with mental health to inform the work she does. This episode covers trauma reactions, gaming as a coping tool, how schools fail kids with unrecognized trauma, and why the DSM does not have all the answers.More info, resources & ways to connect - https://www.tacosfallapart.com/podcast-live-show/podcast-guests/joy-compassion-consolesJoy pushes back on the narrow definition in the DSM, which limits trauma to things like threats to life or sexual assault. Her take is more practical: if an experience overwhelms your ability to cope, not just in the moment but over time, that counts. Chronic, ongoing situations where you have no escape and no control can be just as damaging as a single acute event, even if a textbook does not say so. Invalidating someone's trauma because it does not fit a checklist is its own kind of harm.Social support is the single biggest protective factor after trauma. Studies consistently show that having even one safe, supportive adult can make an enormous difference, especially for kids. Other risk factors include pre-existing anxiety, avoidant coping patterns, genetics and family history. The less control someone feels they have in the aftermath, the harder recovery tends to be.This is where Joy gets fired up, and rightfully so. Children who have experienced trauma often cannot put what they are feeling into words, so it comes out as behavior instead: running out of classrooms, ripping up work, shutting down completely. That behavior gets labeled as defiance, ADHD or ODD, and the actual cause never gets addressed. Joy is direct about it: she has never worked with a kid diagnosed with conduct disorder whose behavior was not better explained by trauma or anxiety. Slapping a behavioral diagnosis on top of a trauma reaction does not help the child, it just gives adults someone to blame.Joy is a single-player, narrative-driven gamer. She talks about how games like Detroit: Become Human and the Uncharted series offer something genuinely valuable: story, agency and a chance to emotionally invest in characters in a low-stakes environment. She also gets honest about anxiety spiking during combat sequences and having to walk away from games entirely, which opens up a real conversation about how gaming intersects with stress responses.Drawing from both research and personal experience with an eating disorder in her late teens, Joy explains why thought suppression backfires. The more you try to block a thought, the louder it gets. Mindfulness-based approaches, which focus on noticing and accepting thoughts rather than fighting them, are a better fit for trauma recovery. The episode closes with a look at mental health needs in the workplace. Reasonable accommodations are legally required, but many people do not feel safe enough to ask for them, and many employers do not know how to respond when they do. A pool table in the break room is not employee support.Find Joy on Twitter at Compassion & Consoles and follow Even Tacos Fall Apart for more conversations about mental health, gaming and the messy, real stuff in between.
A duo of interesting stories quietly circulated around the PlayStation ecosystem over the last few days, with potential clarity shone on some lingering, years-long issues. For starters, beloved ex-Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida recently spoke at a gaming event in Australia, where he revealed more precious information on his departure from first party, noting that ex-CEO Jim Ryan ultimately fired him from his role for not acceding to his demands. Meanwhile, an ex-Naughty Dog lighting artist seemed to spill the beans on some of the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding Uncharted 4, which -- as you may recall -- was a tortured project. But no one knew things were as bad as they seemingly were, until now. In the world of PlayStation, this past week was one of mystery. For instance, the director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy seems to be rather blatantly teasing a new Uncharted game on Instagram. But is he actually? Meanwhile, the promise of PlayStation on PC seems to have gone totally up in smoke, with the quiet removal of related iconography from the PSN. Could it be a sign of things to come? Plus, Sony's aggressive new position on the PlayStation Store continues to bear fruit, as even more games are deleted and unpublished that never belonged there to begin with. Are we finally getting the storefront we deserve? Other news this week includes intrigue surrounding an interview with Sony CEO Hiroki Totoki, changes incoming for PS5's UI, potential teases for remakes or remasters of Persona 1 and 2, the wet fart that was the Tales series' 30th anniversary, and more. Then: Listener inquiries! Do you have to play the original Resident Evil trilogy on PSone to be a "real" fan, or do the remakes suffice? Why is Square Enix so hesitant to do anything with Chrono Trigger? With Capcom's Pragmata right around the corner, what are our last-minute thoughts? Is Dustin hiding his PlayStation Trophies because he's a fake gamer?
