Doomed? We could have told you that 23 episodes ago. When it comes to horror franchises and slasher masters, it doesn't get much bigger than this! This week, Cody and Matt head to Camp Crystal Lake to fix some gutters, play strip Monopoly, and. . . well, die. They talk the Mrs. Voorhees's that could have been, the local color around Crystal Lake, behind the scenes tidbits, and how fashionable the local whacko is. It's not Summer until a few teenagers get brutally murdered in rural New Jersey! Thanks for listening and Dammit, Ralph! Instagram/Twitter: @nighthowlspod
On the week of Friday the 13th, there is only one movie to do. The guys start it all by breaking down where they put this movie among the horror greats and how much they love Kevin Bacon. The guys go over hitchhiking, summer camps, snakes and just how dumb are these kids supposed to be? They get into their favorite scenes, attempt to pick their favorite lines and go over the incredible performance from Betsy Palmer. In lieu of The Recast, the guys give their Top 5 Movie Killers of All-Time which leads into a very heated debate as they close the show. You won't be doomed…if you listen to this one!Twitter: @ReelItBackPodInstagram: ReelItBackPodFacebook: Reel It BackPart of the Walk-Ons NetworkThank you for listening!
Ah, it's that special day again! And things seem to be warming up, as we get closer to Spring. You know what THAT means! Summer is right around the corner. Time to prepare for summer camp! The Common Craig and Nicole decide to check in on a camp counselor training facility, to see if anyone manages to survive, in Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981). And then from there, wait. Is that a three-dimensional killer??? You'd better believe it is! Not only that, but I also see a few eyeballs, a harpoon, a van with a reserve gas tank, a hockey mask and a three-person biker gang. Where is that disco music coming from? OH! That's just Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982)!
Well, it HAD to happen. A Friday the 13th was bound to come around on the calendar, at some point. This one just happens to be in December, so Camp Crystal Lake is kind of cold and empty. But there's ALWAYS a killer hanging around that place, to warm things up. Or maybe we'll leave that to Jack and Marcie, IF you know what I mean! Poor Nicole, who has to put up with enough of the Common Craig's love for Friday the 13th, as it is, NOW has to talk about it on the podcast, too! As we discuss the original unlucky day at Camp Crystal Lake, Friday the 13th (1980). And then from there, we try to assist in reclaiming the Coin of Ziocles, after it has fallen into the wrong hands TWICE, on two separate episodes of Friday the 13th: The Series.
This week we run back the famous slasher movie, Friday the 13th! Join us as we learn about the perils of teen sex, drug use, strip monopoly, hitchhiking, and taking your eye off of a little boy in a lake. InstagramTwitterFacebook

Scotty's eighth episode of Slasher Scotty is an interview with the original policeman himself from the Friday the 13th franchise, Ron Millkie, who played Officer Dorf in the original 1980 Friday the 13th film. Together, Scotty and Ron discuss Ron's experience riding the police motorcycle, her experience on set, what it was like working with Sean S. Cunningham, how Kevin Bacon was on set, and what he is up to today.
