Hey Mickey Shortsters! It's time once again for our Halloween Spooktacular! This year, we're summoning the spirits of Disney's past and creeping back in time to the eerie origins of Mickey Mouse himself. We'll be watching Walt Disney's very first dip into the macabre — the delightfully spooky 1929 animated short, “The Haunted House.” But that's not all! We're also sharing our recent after-dark adventures at Disneyland's Oogie Boogie Bash, where the villains come out to play and the shadows dance throughout Disney's California Adventure! So gather 'round, turn down the lights, and beware… you're in for a frightfully fun time! And don't forget to subscribe and share the show with all your fellow Mickey-loving ghouls and goblins! Join the team as they celebrate the spooky season, with George finding himself the target of some hilarious tricks, including Stacey's concoction of a "snot and phlegm" potion just for him.Amid the laughter, the crew announces the much-anticipated return of Christmas Party Radio and a week-long Music Mayhem marathon to kick off the holiday transition. The main treat of the night is an incredible showcase of musical talent. Nora delivers soulful renditions of "America the Beautiful" and a crowd-pleasing "Hit the Road Jack," while Stacey shares her innovative "genre-swapping" instrumentals, blending country with saxophone and jazz with violin. From ghostly ghouls to jesting jesters, this is a Halloween special you won't want to miss

It's Halloween night on Powers Point After Dark, and the studio's got a chill in the air that's not coming from the AC. Scott kicks things off with a haunting monolog that sets the tone for a night of ghosts, laughter, and everything in between. Keith checks in from Toledo, shades on, relaxed as ever — but something strange starts to build in the background. The first half of the show rolls smooth — music, memories, and mayhem — until Blunt Talk hits. That's when things get… weird. Static cuts through the feed. Voices whisper on the line. Lights flicker. Keith swears it's just Toledo weather, but Scott knows better — the spirits aren't happy the mics are still on. From there, it's chaos and comedy in equal parts. The crew pushes through interference and unexplained noises to keep the show alive. By the time they hit the “Hire / Fire / Relocate / Escorts” segment, it's not just monsters and slashers in the unemployment line — the ghosts have joined the queue, too. It's spooky, it's funny, it's After Dark at its best — where the laughter keeps rolling, even when the spirits try to shut it down.

Happy Halloween, friends! This episode, we are going to celebrate with some very mysterious scary stories! Enjoy! Story 1 - William Story 2 - Jackson Story 3 - Jason M.
Today, the scary is everywhere! A man threw his own funeral and he wasn't dead, plus a blind man in Italy received state benefits for 50 years, problem for him is that he wasn't actually blind. A restaurant in Washington has a strict no phones policy, and people are loving it. Something appears to be up with Britney Spears and it doesn't seem good. Francis Ford Coppola is broke, as in no money, and AI could soon be assisting NFL refs. Early to bed and early to rise isn't necessarily a good thing, and as odd as it may sound, people are being warned they shouldn't lick the toads. Three women were arrested because their underwear had $650,000 worth of gold in them, and Valentine's Day is not the loneliest day of the year for singles; Halloween is! Today is our Halloween Spooktacular and it's a complete waste of your time. That I promise.
Fr. William Rock, FSSP, serves as Parochial Vicar at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Nashua, New Hampshire. In Today's Show: How to dispose of a Ouiji board Should people dress up as nuns and priests for Halloween? What did Fr. Rock dress up as for Halloween during his childhood? Is it okay to go to a Protestant church with family for Christmas? Why is Samhain misattributed to the origins of Halloween? What is the day in the life of a priest? How should we celebrate Halloween with young children? Can a layperson own a relic? And more questions from our YouTube chat! Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that's me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won't forget about other movies and shows, that's for sure! For episode 263, I'm joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes. This episode is our annual Halloween Spooktacular, though horror is hardly all that's on the agenda. Fright flicks include Frankenstein (which I reviewed here) as well as A House of Dynamite (reviewed here), though we also get into Blue Moon (reviewed here) and Song Sung Blue (reviewed here). Myles also has a horror edition of his Letterboxd game, so it's a very fun time.

“The flute makes it good” - Chris, on the music the actors perform On this week's episode, the 2025 Halloween Spooktacular comes to a close as we invite our buds, Chelsea Rebecca and James A. Janisse from Dead Meat, to chat about the 2000, direct-to-video, horror sequel, Leprechaun in the Hood! How hilarious are the first five minutes of this movie? Why didn't the filmmakers realize they needed to have Ice-T in every scene? Why don't these guys just high-tail it to Vegas immediately after shooting Mack Daddy? How hard was it for this production to make the film feature length? And who among us wouldn't want to hit a spliff with the Leprechaun? PLUS: How are we not disposing of the Leprechaun like we did Osama bin Laden? Leprechaun in the Hood stars Warick Davis, Anthony Montgomery, Rashaan Nall, Red Grant, Dan Martin, Lobo Sebastian, Ivory Ocean, Jack Ong, Bebe Drake, and the legendary Ice-T as Mack Daddy; directed by Rob Spera.
