Bill started his career writing for "Friends," "The Nanny," and "Boy Meets World." He then co-created Emmy and Golden Globes winning "Spin City" before creating "Scrubs" which thrusted him into the category of "big time television show creator." Bill and Rick discuss their meeting, his teenage daughter's (Charlotte Lawrence) new found stardom as a pop star, bonding over basketball, how a proven show creator sells a tv show, and a sneak peak at Joel McHale's performance as Bill in a short Rick made about Bill kicking him out of a basketball game.
