Beattie Edmondson is a comedy writer performer best known for Disney family entertainment feature film Patrick and three series of BBC3's sitcom Josh, with Josh Widdicombe, Elis James and Jack Dee . Beattie is in the BBC One drama The Pursuit of Love starring Lily James and written and directed by Emily Mortimer. She is also one third of comedy sketch group Birthday Girls whose podcast Birthday Girls' House Party was nominated for Best Comedy at the British Podcast Awards. Beattie is a regular on Celebrity Gogglebox and has previously appeared on Celebrity Mastermind. On My Three Sons, Stanley Livingston grew up, with the boomer generation and with television itself. By the time we came to know Stan as Chip Douglas he had logged over ten credits, performing with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Doris Day, Ozzie & Harriet Nelson, Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Debbie Reynolds and Gregory Peck!Stan takes us back to his first gig, as a stunt double for Jon Provost on Lassie. Jon couldn't swim yet. Stan got stuck in a muddy pond and turned in a tremendously vivid performance as a kid attempting not to drown.His parents met in Baltimore, where his father ran a burlesque theater and his mom put some vahs in her dance voom. In search of reinvention, they moved to California where Stan and his brother Barry were born and raised. With an ample dose of show biz in his blood, Stan felt at home from the first moment he stepped onto a set.He shares the story of his big break at just six years old on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Stan was working as a neighborhood kid extra when Ozzie threw him a line and he delivered. Stan appeared on ten episodes of the show, until he landed My Three Sons and his brother Barry took over. But according to drummer Rikki Rockett, the plans fell apart at the negotiating table.The sticking point? Money. Rockett revealed that while he, guitarist C.C. DeVille, and bassist Bobby Dall were all ready to sign, Michaels demanded a much bigger slice of the pie. Specifically, Rockett claims Michaels wanted about 600% more than the rest of the band—essentially $6 for every $1 the others would make."You just can't work that way," Rockett said. He explained that while he loves playing, he doesn't want to work hard just to make someone else rich while he gets a fraction of the pay.Is there bad blood? Surprisingly, Rockett says no. He compared the situation to family, saying, "It's like hating your parents." He insists he isn't fighting with Michaels, they just couldn't agree on the business side of things.When asked if the band would consider touring with a replacement singer, Rockett shut it down, calling that a "last resort" and insisting there is no better frontman for Poison than Michaels.What now?  "The Ruptured Duck" (October 10, 1961) On the surface, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis tells the story of a teen boy who falls in love with every girl except Zelda Gilroy, who pines for him hopelessly. All of this is complicated by the fact that the Sheila Keuhl, the actor who played Zelda was in real life a gay woman who ultimately lost out on getting her own spinoff because she didn't fit the idea for what a leading lady was in the early 1960s.
