We are all looking for a miracle. Something extra, something special that gives us an additional sense of conviction in our life. Relevant miracles were performed by all Prophets for their people in order for their faith to deepen. Our Prophet SAWS was no exception and with everything about him, he received the best and most grand of all miracles, particularly the eternal miracle of the Quran. Join us as we analyse the concept of miracles as well as exploring those awe-spiring miracles that were given to the Prophet SAWS, all of which are authentically recorded in the books of history for us to ponder and reflect upon.

As I try to bring information that is beneficial to the listeners. In this episode I thought about 5 personal tips I have seen over the years that I'd like to share for those who are embracing Islam for the first time. My goal is (with Allah's permission) to inspire you to seek beneficial knowledge that can help you connect to Allah and his Prophet (SAWS). It's truly a beautiful experience to embrace Islam. Culturally we experience difficulties that those families that have been generationally Muslim don't have to experience. My intention is to speak up so you don't feel you are alone during the tough times.

Dua Aldasouqi is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and the founder of A Muslim Dietitian. She is also a graduate of Qalam Institute's Seminary program and a current Alimiyyah student. She aims to serve her audience by providing them with the tools needed to navigate through the sea of nutrition information. Dua strongly believes that it's important to ensure the food we eat is pure, halal, and tayyib. If we are well informed we can in turn better inform the market. She also genuinely believes that our relationship with food should not be complicated. Eating is an organic process but our bodies and minds are overstimulated with different flavors and information that we need help resetting. In this interview, we sit down together to discuss:

What is self purification in Islam?Being patient and having conviction in Allah: Patience defeats lust and steps between us and our sins. It also keeps us steadfast on acts of obedience so self-purification (expelling and adorning) cannot be attained except by patience. Allah says, “Truly, those who persevere patiently will be requited without measure.'" ( 39:10). Having conviction in Allah keeps us steadfast in the face of our demons and with both these two qualities we can acquire the Imamate (leadership) in religion. Allah says, “We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command when they were steadfast and when they had firm faith in Our signs." (, 32:24).Supplications: The weapon of the believer and the sanctuary of the human being to his Lord. It keeps us safe from all evils and it helps us to obey Allah. The Prophet (SAWS) used to pray, “O Allah, guide me to the best of manners, for none guides to them except You. Protect me from bad manners, for none can protect me except You.”
