Set the intention to produce a new product that users find to be pure genius and it's remarkable how that focus becomes real.Predict that your morning workout will be intense, excellent and thorough and your thinking will make it so. Nothing happens until you start. Sounds obvious. Yet it's practiced in the breach. Look, I'm a serious evangelist for the necessity of rest, renewal and recovery. Wrote a lot about this in The 5AM Club and The Everyday Hero Manifesto. Yet the superstars I work with are wizards of making things happen. The reality is that the majority moves slowly. It takes ages for them to complete a project and week upon week to get important things done. Zero judgment here. Just reporting. And this way of being is because most people are exhausted. And bored [so they have no raging fire to execute, in their souls]. The A-Players are diametrically different. They rise early, move swiftly and deliver beautifully. No, no, no. Conservation season hasn't started just yet. You first get to harvest before you hibernate. Fall equinox marked the beginning of fall a few days ago, and this super full moon (harvest moon) indicates energy, vitality, and resourcefulness. You're going feel an uptick of energy for about one month until it reaches its peak and THEN you will start conservation before hibernating near the Winter Solstice (look at the flow chart).  Nature, seasons, rhythms, and cycles ebb and FLOW.  What this means for you practically is that you must get your ducks in a row now. Use this energy to organize and prepare what you need in a way that will sustain you for the upcoming months. What do you need to gather that will keep you creatively fulfilled? What do you need to initiate NOW so that you don't feel you aren't doing enough later?

Watch Episode Here.   Everybody wants to feel better. And that's a beautiful thing, something you should continually aspire to, for sure.  However, let's get clear on how that works and the difference between “feeling better” and “better feeling”. We've grown up in a society where feeling better has been driven by some form of sedation. We don't like the way we feel so we suppress our feelings. However, if we don't feel our feelings, do we FEEL better? Better feeling means being present with what you're feeling. You're better able to feel. Because here's the thing - in the unpleasant feelings there's also a massive amount of life, growth, healing, and opportunity. In this episode we explore: How the goal of feeling better may lead to self-deception and denial of the underlying issues How sedation prevents healing How to increasing your emotional bandwidth Pain's primary function in helping us grow and heal The correct way to respond to emotions so we can release them Healthy ways of better feeling our experience And much more! “We can't heal what we can't feel.” So, how about you? What are you feeling? What are you numbing?  I encourage you to face all of your feelings because on the other side of them is a brighter, more aligned, joyful life. Up to you!

Join me for your Midlife Reinvetion Workshop on Wednesdays in October 2023:  https://www.styleguidesociety.com/Style   In today's fast-paced world, personal style is often overlooked. Many people believe that style is a superficial matter or something that only matters to celebrities and fashion influencers. However, the power of personal style goes far beyond the clothes you wear. It's about expressing your personality, boosting your confidence, and making an impression on others. If you're not using the power of personal style, you're missing out on a multitude of benefits. For instance, personal style can help you stand out in a crowd, make a strong first impression, and even elevate your professional image. Not harnessing this power can leave you blending into the background, failing to communicate your unique identity effectively, and potentially missing opportunities both personally and professionally.   Here are some ways you can maximize the power of personal style:   Know Your Colors: Understanding which colors flatter your skin tone can dramatically enhance your appearance and boost your confidence. Assess Your Wardrobe: Take a good look at what's already in your closet. Identify the pieces you love and why you love them. This will give you a sense of your current style and what works for you. Understand Your Preferences: What do you feel most comfortable in? Which outfits make you feel powerful and confident? Knowing your preferences will help you develop a personal style that truly reflects who you are. Create a Style Guide or Outfits: Based on your color palette, wardrobe assessment, and preferences, create a style guide or set of outfits that encapsulate your personal style. This can serve as a blueprint when shopping for new pieces or putting together outfits. Implementation: Knowledge without action is futile. Apply what you've learned about your personal style in your daily life. Practice creating outfits, experimenting with different looks, and stepping out of your comfort zone. Remember, practice makes perfect! Your personal style is a powerful tool. It's an extension of your personality and a way to express yourself without saying a word. So, don't shy away from exploring and embracing your personal style – it could open up a world of possibilities!

Welcome to today's episode of The Mindset Mentor Podcast. Today we're going to talk about how you can start mastering TRUE self love and I'm going to give you a few secrets that I think you really need to know if you've been struggling with this. Now, when we talk about self-love, it's so much more than just gazing in the mirror and reciting affirmations (although, don't get me wrong, that's important too)... I'm not telling you the same ole things you're probably used to hearing about self love… After all, if those things were really the solution, then you wouldn't still be struggling would you? That's why today we're going to dive deep into what it is, but also what it most definitely is NOT.First things first—let's bust some myths. Self-love isn't about taking the easy way out, my friends. It's not found at the bottom of a wine glass or in the comfort of skipping the gym. Sometimes, sure, those things are fine. But here's the kicker: Real self-love often means pushing yourself to do the things that are genuinely good for you, even when you'd rather not.Yes, it's tough. I won't sugarcoat it. But I really truly believe that pushing yourself, and choosing discipline over convenience, is one of the most profound ways to love yourself deeply. In this episode, we'll unpack the essence of self-love: What it truly is and the practices that can transform your relationship with yourself. It's a journey to a place where you become your own biggest ally and advocate. So, are you ready to discover the secret to mastering self-love?If you like this episode… Make sure to share it with someone that needs to hear it and help us get the message out there so that together we can help make people's lives better and make the world a better place. And BY THE WAY:My first book that I've ever written is now available for pre-order. Welcome to today's episode of The Mindset Mentor Podcast, where today I'm going to be talking to you about why you may be feeling “lazy” lately… and don't worry! This is not an episode where I'm talking about fitness, nutrition, etc… I'm not here to beat you up like that. I'm going to explain to you why you may not have the ENERGY to do the things you want to do or need to do, and offer you some tips and strategies that you can follow to get out of a rut. Honestly, just to keep things simple… What I believe causes most people to feel a lack of energy, enthusiasm, or desire… is when you are living a life that is out of alignment with who you are, and who you want to be. When you're out of alignment with your purpose, that also means you're out of alignment with the universe. (Scary thought, huh?) I believe that the universe, or whatever god you believe in… comes thru us and communicates with us thru the way of energy. Every single thing in the universe is made of energy. If you are feeling exhausted everyday, and completely drained of your energy… here me loud and clear: You are not doing what you are meant to do. However… there is a difference between a good and a bad type of exhaustion. A good exhaustion is when you're doing something you love, that took your energy all day and you are tired… but your heart is full. You feel extremely fulfilled inside. A bad exhaustion is when you come home tired, drained, and you're already dreading your tomorrow because you know that you've gotta repeat that same purposeless pattern. In this episode, I'll help you understand how to recognize the difference in these two when it comes to your life, and I'll teach you what you can do about it to make sure that you get yourself back in alignment with the life you are meant to be living if you want to be truly fulfilled.  If you like this episode… Make sure to share it with someone that needs to hear it and help us get the message out there so that together we can help make people's lives better and make the world a better place. And BY THE WAY:My first book that I've ever written is now available for pre-order. It's called LEVEL UP and It's a step-by-step guide to go from where you are now, to where you want to be as fast as possible.Within its pages, you'll discover powerful insights and practical steps that will revolutionize the way you approach your goals, personal motivation, and mental focus.
