"He loves you! Why? Because He loves you. His love is more powerful than your failures. His love is more powerful than your shame. His love is more powerful than the impossible thing that you face. His love is enough for you." Pastor Matt Janzen.

Rev. Dr. Larry Hayward preaches on the Fourth Sunday after Epiphany. The Scripture passage is I Corinthians 13:1-13.
Today, we come to a chapter in 1 Corinthians that can easily be misunderstood if we do not observe the context. It is a very beautiful passage, very famous passage about love. It contains wonderfully crafted prose that resonates with us, and we will see that when it is applied to the local church, it is even more meaningful. The main point of the text is this: the Christian life is marked by love.
Although this passage is often used in the context of relationships of love and marriage, it's true context goes much deeper. Paul is admonishing the church to love one another equally, regardless of what Spiritual Gifts God has blessed them with. If we truly love our brothers and sisters in Christ, it will be shown in how we see them and treat them. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49094319

Lead Pastor Mike Mozingo kicked off our new series, LOVE, by challenging us to read, learn, and apply 1 Corinthians 13. Love is kind and patient, it is not being a doormat or an enabler. This series applies to all of us, no matter your relationship status! Continue listening to learn more about how God has called us to love all.
