Week 4 of Advent and the fourth candle represents love. Listen as Krissy Bakke the hippie Chrisitan shares exactly why LOVE is the greatest gift we will ever receive. The Beatles got it right, we can't buy love. We absolutely must share it and give it to as many people as we can. Happy last day of Advent better known as Christmas Eve.

For the third week will be focusing on communication, vision and divine creativity! It will be short episodes because but a longer episode on 2026-01-01. Be the Light. Share the Light. Spread the Light. Shine!LDS AND MEDIUM PODCAST BACKGROUND:I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or LDS for short. All my life I felt awkward and out of place, not because of my religion, but because of my spiritual gifts. It was hard to combine the idea of what first seemed like two separate worlds. So my whole life I have tried. I have learnt more about my gifts, and stayed faithful to my faith. But then I heard people left the church because it seems impossible to combine the two. So I am here, to try and mend the rift. To show that it is possible to be both LDS and to have, and use, our spiritual gifts. I am not alone on this journey, but my sister, who just is waking up to her spiritual gifts is by my side and she will also share her story.Jesus Christ, our older brother, was a healer. He asked us to love one another. So let´s follow in his footsteps. Please join me on this journey, let´s make a community of strong spiritual LDS, or whatever religion you belong to, and all work together to make this world a better place. If you like what I do, then you can find me here:https://linktr.ee/ldsandmediumIf you have words of support or stories that you anonymously want me to share please write me at ldsandmedium@gmail.com. Christ Has Come – Week 4Episode Title: The Promised King & His Gift of Love*Romans 5:8; John 3:16–17; 1 John 4:9–10In this final Advent episode of Christ Has Come, Keith Harris turns our attention to the gift in which all the others converge—the love of God. Christmas is not the announcement of sentiment or seasonal warmth, but the declaration that God's saving love has entered the world in the person of Jesus Christ.Walking through three foundational passages, we see how Scripture defines God's love not by emotion, but by action.Together, we explore:How God demonstrates His love by acting first—sending Christ to die for sinners while we were still enemies (Romans 5:8).Why God gave His Son, not to condemn the world, but to rescue it through the incarnation and the cross (John 3:16–17).What love truly is, as defined by God Himself—not our love for Him, but His initiating love toward us in sending Jesus as the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:9–10).Why Christmas always leads to the cross, and how the incarnation reveals the depth, cost, and purpose of God's love. The invitation of the gospel, calling sinners to receive this love by faith and believers to rest again in the love that saves and sustains them. This episode reminds us that love is not something to admire from a distance—it is something to receive. Christmas proclaims that love has come near, taken on flesh, and walked willingly toward the cross so that sinners might live through Him.If you would like to see a written version of this study, complete with footnotes and cross-references, you can find it here.
God's Gift of Love reminds us that love is not just something God gives, it's who He is. Through Jesus, God gave Himself, welcomed us into His family, and calls us to share that same love with others. As faith and hope guide us, this message invites us to live out the greatest gift of all: love that multiplies through us.

Send us a textThe search for the “perfect gift” can be frantic and funny—we even share a Turbo Man moment—but beneath the wrapping is a longing for something that doesn't break or get boxed up. We journey from a packed day of service to a manger where love takes human form and resets what matters most.We trace the nativity like a tapestry: Mary's costly yes, Joseph's steady protection, shepherds welcomed from the margins, and magi crossing borders under a guiding star. Along the way we unpack the meaning behind gold, frankincense, and myrrh: a king worth honoring, a priest who bridges the gap, and a Savior whose love will pay the price. Even the practical side matters—provision for a family fleeing Herod's violence—showing that real love is both tender and tough. If presents delight for a moment, presence transforms a life. From there we get practical. We talk about pre-deciding to walk with Jesus in the new year, joining community, and blessing our households in prayer. We name three anchors to carry forward: the King has come, the High Priest forgives, and the Messiah makes a way. If you've been measuring the season by lists and sales, consider a different measure: the courage to forgive, the humility to ask for help, the joy of serving together, and the steady practice of love at home. Join us for a warm, story-rich hour that blends Scripture, humor, and hope—and leave with clear next steps for your faith and family. If this encouraged you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs some Christmas hope, and leave a quick review so more people can find it. Love is a many splendored thing. Love lifts us up where we belong. All you need is love. Or in the words of Anna from Frozen – "Love is an open door."There are countless songs that centre on Love – love for children or siblings, love for friends, romantic love. And probably just as many that speak about heartbreak. But what is Love, really? And how do we receive it and pass it on as a Gift of this season?A message by Samantha B
In this message, Pastor Meredith tells us that God didn't send Jesus out of obligation, tradition, or duty—but out of deep, abiding love. Through the Christmas story, we're invited to remember the greatest gift ever given and the open invitation to become part of God's family.
In this message, Taylor reminds us of the Greek concept of Agape—a selfless, action-oriented love that costs everything by diving into the Christmas story of Mary and Joseph to show how responding to God's ultimate gift with obedience is the path to greater freedom and participation in His incredible plan. Don't miss this powerful reminder that we obey not to earn God's love, but because we've already received it.

If God has given you his own beloved Son, Jesus, then will he withhold anything from you? In Romans 8 Paul gives us some of the most encouraging words in the Bible. Lets unpack exactly what is being said here. (Romans 8:31-39)

Christmas at Church On The Move—The Gift, Part 1NOTES
Song of Solomon
After Pentecost, the early church didn't just admire the idea of community—they committed their time to it, and that steady presence created transformation. At St. Peter's, we're living those same rhythms: worship, house church, shared meals, prayer, and service. Here, Rev. Lisha explores why membership matters for the mission, how the time we give to one another strengthens us for the time we give to the world, and invites us to move from the scarcity of chronos (clock time) into the sacred possibility of kairos (God's time)—where showing up becomes an act of love.

4th Sunday after EpiphanyScripture Lesson: 1 Corinthians 13
We are re-engaging with the sermon series we started in September on 1 Corinthians to coincide with our school year theme of "Choosing Unity". You and I both know how polarized our world is right now and how much more fractured it can become in an election season. We have lost the ability to really listen to one another. We take sides. We take positions and, let's be honest, sometimes we forget why. Now more than ever the Church has a responsibility to be bridge builders and peacemakers in our community. When we reach the end of our lives, what we have left is love. May that be the motivator in our life together. Passage: 1 Corinthians 13 We have three worship opportunities for you to experience: 9:00 a.m. - Sanctuary Service 9:30 a.m. - Online Service 10:30 a.m. - Chapel Service Please consider joining us for one of these services.
