In the book of Hebrews, you might say God is saying that His Son has done something incredible, and wants to recognize it. As we come to understand who Jesus is and what He's accomplished, it will really impact our lives in a great way. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today on a Daily Walk we begin our study of Hebrews! And if we had to sum it all up in a few words, we could say, “Jesus is Better.” Jesus truly is better in every way than anything this world has to offer, or anything we may leave behind when we come to Christ! Jesus is so much better than the angels, that He is worshipped by angels.

God didn't need to tell us anything about what lies beyond death, but He pulled back the curtain just a little. Pastor Colin talks about the reason why.
If you've ever wondered: “Why am I suffering? Why is my life so hard? Why is there so much evil in the world? After all, I'm a Christian.” Pastor Colin talks about the reason why.

Two friends have exchanged the same birthday card since 1944 simply to bring each other joy. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others.
Join Pastor Kara this Sunday, August 17, 2025 as she continues her sermon series You're going to need this: Choosing the better part as she reflects on Luke 19: 38-42
For our last episode of the series, Stefani Blackwell and I go through eight different topics that (although sticky) didn't warrant a full episode. Many of these topics are more about personal preference as a parent as opposed to moral issues, so we simply share about how we have handled them in our homes without giving straight opinions on a "right" way to do them. Now that we have larger families (and older kids), we take many preferential things less seriously than we did when our kids were younger and that is a big relief! We also discuss that these topics are so much easier to handle when you are in a good place in your marriage. We give a few helpful hints, but encourage you to check out the marriage series I did last spring on The Better Part. Check out all episodes beginning "marriage," for MUCH more marriage discussion.
