By giving more weight (priority) to God and His Word, earthly powers and authorities to hold less weight with us. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49443660
A healthy relationship with God requires an intimate connection through wholehearted prayer. This enables one to witness the fulfillment of God's promises and experience profound spiritual growth. God's boundless love is evident in the gift of His Son, Jesus, whose sacrifice atoned for sins, offering reconciliation through faith. Just as God's devotion was complete, so too should one's devotion to Him be. Sermon outline @ http://bible.com/events/49436458
Do not dwell on past victories or current struggles; instead, focus on the future and the new work God has planned for you. God will honor you if you believe in Him, and you should honor Him by living a faith forward-looking life. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49371280
Christians have a God-given responsibility to submit to governing authorities and to conduct themselves with love, integrity, and respect toward others, recognizing that ultimate allegiance belongs to God. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49342475
Faithfulness to our spouse, and church is affected by a love and commitment to God, which leads us to share that love with others thereby answering God's call for faithfulness. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49338853
Neglecting God’s instructions demonstrates a lack of respect and honor towards God. How will we ever expect others to honor God in our worship if our lives do not give proof of the same? Malachi issues God’s warning to remain faithful in your worship of Him, not just go through the motions. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49335908
Even when fear and doubt cause us to lose sight of Jesus during times of testing, He remains with us, offering rescue for those who call upon Him. Today’s passage reminds us that true faith is not the absence of fear but rather the choice to fix our eyes on Jesus and take a leap of faith. Through the disciples' experience on the Sea of Galilee, we learn that challenges are opportunities to experience the depth of Jesus' love and the transformative power of His grace. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49328644
The Lord's Supper is a time to examine ourselves and our commitment to follow Jesus, no matter where that road may lead us and who we walk that road with. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49325422
As the "Day of The Lord" (His Return to Earth) approaches, we, as believers, have the criticial responsibility to prepare ourselves and guide others toward readiness. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49321371
True faith requires trusting in Jesus, even when we cannot see the outcome. It moves us to act on that trust by boldly approaching Jesus with our needs, knowing that He hears our cries and responds with compassion and power. This type of faith is illustrated this morning by a blind beggar by the name of Bartimaeus. His answer to Jesus’ piercing question, leads to transformation and a life dedicated to following Him. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49318383
Living a life that pleases God is a process called Sanctification (Pursuing Holiness). It's a journey filled with victories and failures, struggles, and blessings. Through his Son, who resides in our hearts, God declares us righteous. Being holy means aligning our lives with his Word. It's not only possible but expected and rewarded by God. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49315069
Our love for God and one another will be the bond that holds us in Him while we go through affliction. God is using this affliction to grow our faith and connection with Him and others. Sermon Outline at http://bible.com/events/49311338
In a world where fulfillment evades many, contentment stands as our ultimate blessing, transcending the boundaries of salvation. It is the gateway to inner peace, which in turn ushers in a profound sense of fulfillment. Our focus holds the key to unlocking contentment, inviting us to redirect our attention and reorient our lives today. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49300338
Through his unwavering trust in God's provision and purpose, Abraham's life journey embodies the essence of a true hero, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49297910
Much prayer and effort went into Abraham's search for Isaac's wife. His servant made an incredible journey to find the wife God was providing for Isaac. Will we put in the effort to see God answer our prayers? Sermon Outline @! http://bible.com/events/49295141
The assumption that Christians who grieve are not trusting God enough is unfounded and unbiblical. God's story of Abraham, who lost his wife at the ripe old age of 120, beautifully illustrates this. Grief is an inherent part of having faith in God. It enables us to move forward while continuing to believe that God will provide blessings in the future. Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49291896
Through tests, we can assess our growth and identify areas for improvement. At crucial moments in our lives, God puts us to the test to reveal the depth of our faith and the strength of our character. These tests often present challenges that are difficult to comprehend and necessitate a significant leap of faith. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49288388
God's promises are unwavering. Although their fulfillment might not align with our expectations or make sense at the moment, our role is to remain obedient. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49285368
We often face the draw to return to sins we believed we had conquered. It is a genuine temptation that can lead us astray. However, God's unwavering faithfulness stands in stark contrast to our human tendency to repeat mistakes. As we delve into today's passage, we encounter a setback in Abraham's growth toward becoming the revered leader known as the father of the Jewish nation. Despite this setback, the amazing truth is that God remains faithful to us, even in moments when we are not faithful to Him. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49281876
The compromises we make today will have a negative impact on our future and those we love and influence. Ask God to show you today the areas of compromise in your life for the purpose of removing them before you and those you love are too far gone! Sermon Outline @
When consitently reject God's instructions on how to live, you will reap God's judgment from making poor choices. Sermon Outlline @ http://bible.com/events/49271683
God has given believers an opportunity to intercede for those in need and in danger of judgment. Will you intercede on their behalf? Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49268463
True obedience requires a total commitment to God in all areas of our lives. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49261573
Life is uncertain for everyone, including Christians. Many times we reluctantly fight against uncertainty instead of leaning into it with our trust in God. When we let go of our desire to understand and control uncertainty we must trust God. This opens us up to experience his amazing grace and faithfulness. Sermon.net @ http://bible.com/events/49254598
The battle between the Rebel Kings and Kedorlaomer's forces serves as a backdrop to show the need for Lot's rescue. The story highlights the illusion of control that people often have over their lives and how life events beyond their control can shatter that illusion. It also emphasizes the importance of seeking God's will and guidance in decision-making to avoid potential pitfalls and consequences. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49251248
Do you ever wish God would give you a do over? He will! Learn from Abraham's life where God gave him a second chance to make right choices to follow His will. This renewed commitment gave Abraham the fresh start he needed to fulfill God's covenant to be the father of His chosen people. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49247096
Biblical heroes are everyday people whom God uses for His purposes. Abraham, for example, had flaws but became a hero of faith. Though you may not feel like a hero, someone sees you as one. Accept God's call and let Him use you despite your imperfections. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49243265
The greatest interruption that occurs in a person’s life is for God to call them to salvation and service. God pulls us out of our comfortable lives to begin a journey that will enrich our life with purpose, bless others and change the world. Abraham models what it means to be a person who imperfectly but faithfully answers God’s call on his life with faith and obedience. When God Calls You Must Answer! Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49240447
God had a plan from the very beginning of time to rescue you from the sins that so easily restrain and trip you up. God sent His one and only son Jesus to die for our sins. Only Jesus could be the perfect sacrifice because He was 100% human and 100% divine. Because of this He understands your struggles and temptations. He willingly gave His life to pay the price for our sins. Because of Jesus' sacrifice, we can be forgiven and have a relationship with God again. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49225268
A Christian should never give up on their faith, even when they have fallen short, because God is always there to forgive and help them get back on their feet. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49221707
The transformative power of the cross is the central theme of Christianity, offering believers a new life through faith in Jesus Christ. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49218595
The saying "What you reap is what you sow" speaks to the cycle of cause and effect in our actions. Our world is corrupted by sin where selfish human desires drive everything. People seeking to serve themselves first can be seen in every area of life. However, the truth is that there are many who suffer physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The scripture reminds us that as believers in the church, we are called to help others before we help ourselves. Through the power of God and our obedience to His word, we have the ability to make a difference in the world. The question is, are we willing to rise to this challenge? Will you and I be the church God has called us to be? Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49214696

No Greater Love Produces Biblical Fruit And Love For Other Believers As Much As Being Connected To Jesus! Sermon Outline @ https://events.bible.com/en/event/edit/49211599/share
Sin is a powerful force that seeks to keep us separated from God. Separated from a relationship with God, to keep our fellowship estranged and ultimately to keep us from being with Him in Heaven once again for eternity. We must understand the impact of sin on our lives and be ready to deal with it by our will and God’s strength. The curse of Eden is still alive and well today! Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49208094
This morning’s lesson from the garden teaches us to be careful about the voices we listen to. Last week we established that Satan is our enemy who seeks to destroy us because we are precious to God. He uses deception and our own emotional insecurities to influence us to make poor choices. To disregard God’s instructions and promises to us. He accentuates our “felt” need in the moment with no regard for the consequences that will follow. The consequences of Adam and Eve’s sin impact us to this day. There is a great divide between God and Humanity that cries out for the need of a Savior.
As believers if we only serve those around us in the church, we are neglecting the very people in the community that God has given us to serve. If our only priority is meeting our own needs and of those we already know, we will never see the need in our community, thereby NOT doing what Jesus has told us to do.
God established a relationship with you and I as His greatest creation. He designed us to have a relationship with Him that included a balance of work and rest and love and service. Balance in those areas lead us to live a life that pleases God and is beneficial to us. We live the life God designed us for. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49196972
Your value is found in the love and care God showed for you in your creation. Your purpose is found in serving Him which is what we all were created for. This is where we find true fulfillment and our ultimate reward. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49193608
As today marks the final day of 2024, many of us will be making our plans for the new year. While resolutions and intentions are crucial, the fact of the matter is that we will do what we choose to do based on our priorities. Putting yourself first may seem natural and even honorable, but doing so at the expense of your faith will lead to a sad life. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49189501
Today the burning pink candle of the advent wreath proclaims joy! Called the “Shepherds Candle” It represents the joy the Shepherds experienced when first learning that Jesus the Messiah was being born. God the creator of everything in heaven and the earth was coming to live among us! The darkness of evil in the world would soon be pierced with the light of Jesus Christ. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49184575
The sermon discusses the theme of Christmas Faith, focusing on Joseph and Mary’s belief and trust during the extraordinary events surrounding Jesus’ birth. It emphasizes the importance of trusting God’s plan, even when it seems difficult to understand. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49181145
Thankfulness is vital to our worship of God. The act of thanking God reminds us of the love, goodness and faithfulness He has given to us over the years. Even when we did not realize it at the time. Being thankful reminds us that God loves us, listens to us and answers our prayers. Are you ready to worship God through thankfulness this morning? Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49166703
Today’s scripture is a reminder and a warning concerning God's word and the end times. It says that God's word created the world and will destroy it. We should live holy and blameless lives, awaiting God's judgment. We should trust God's timetable, not our own, and guard against scoffers who mock Jesus' return. Sermon Outline at http://bible.com/events/49163156
False teachers are still present in the world today. Peter identified that this was a problem even in the early church. We must grow in our faith and knowledge of the Bible in order to identify false teaching. It is evil, sinister, and everywhere. God will judge false teachers and rescue those who remain faithful to Him. Make sure you know the difference. Sermon Notes @ http://bible.com/events/49160876
Christians but know God's word and believe it is the authority for everything. Live their lives according to it and lovingly show others its infallibility and inerrancy. Sermon Notes @ http://bible.com/events/49157384
The most authentic demonstration of a genuine faith is for believers to live in a way that aligns with their beliefs. This requires intentional growth in understanding one's faith through the study of Scripture. As the day of Jesus' return approaches, it is increasingly important for believers to have a firm grasp of their beliefs and the reasons behind them, to live in accordance with biblical principles, and to love other Christians. Sermon Notes @ http://bible.com/events/49153549
In times of darkness, believers are called to take their faith more seriously. We must lead, stand firm, and encourage others to do the same, for the glory of God. Jesus is the answer to the questions of life, and if we do not stand up for Him, even in suffering, who will? If you believe that God has called you to place your faith in Him, then He has also commissioned you to stand up for Him. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49149841
Suffering as a believer in Jesus is part of the Christian experience. You should not be surprised by suffering, even when you do what is right, but know God will reward you for your faith. Suffering builds endurance, endurance brings growth and growth brings strength. Sermon Outline @ http://bible.com/events/49143348
As Christians, we should live in submission to authorities and spouses, even if we suffer for it, because God will ultimately vindicate us. Sermon outline @ http://bible.com/events/49139365
Christians receive God's blessings when they give their lives to Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Our relationship with God also comes with obligations to live out that commitment while we are living in this world. If you claim His blessings, you must honor His obligations.
