With God the honeymoon never ends. He is infinite in power and wisdom and creativity so that there will be no boredom for the next trillion ages of millenniums.
In this passage, we encounter a wedding that has run out of wine. This situation was not only sad, it had the potential to bring great shame and even legal trouble upon the groom's family. But fortunately for them, Jesus was there. When the wine ran out, Jesus supplied a superabundance. And John tells us exactly why he chose to record this story. Join us to find out.Sermon Outline:I. The Joy that Runs OutII. The Joy that CostsIII. The Joy that Never EndsSermon Discussion Questions:1. Where have you seen this happen when life was at its best and the joy still faded? What did you (or they) reach for to get the spark back?2. What's the difference between bringing a need to Jesus and leaving it in his hands versus telling him how to fix it? Is there an area right now where obeying Jesus doesn't seem practical?3. What does the sheer extravagance of this miracle tell you about Jesus? Where are you tempted to think of him as a God of bare minimums rather than abundance?4. Why do you think Jesus connects the wine at this wedding to the cross? How does it change the way you read this miracle to know the joy it pictures cost him his blood?5. What's the difference between having your theology straight and trusting Jesus? Who in your life needs to hear that they can start following Jesus before they have it all figured out, and what would inviting them look like this week?

Persistent Depressive Disorder (formerly dysthymia) is a chronic form of depression that can make life feel emotionally flat, exhausting, and hopeless for years at a time.In this video, I break down the difference between major depressive disorder and persistent depressive disorder, plus the treatments, lifestyle changes, and mindset shifts that tend to help people living with chronic low mood. And most importantly, I talk about something I think matters deeply with long-term depression: how to keep building a meaningful life even during periods where joy feels out of reach. If the usual depression advice hasn't helped, it might be because it wasn't built for your type of depression. In this episode, I sit down with Tom French, author of The Gap Years: Climbing, Skiing, and the Journey Back, to talk about adventure, reinvention, and what it truly means to reconnect with the outdoors at any age. What if the Iran war never really ends—but instead settles into a dangerous, permanent limbo? In this episode, Ravi Gupta sits down with former Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer to unpack the confusing reality behind Trump's Iran strategy, the collapse of diplomacy, and why the world may now be worse off than before the war began. Together, they revisit the Obama-era JCPOA nuclear deal, debate whether any future agreement is still possible, and explore how America's shifting foreign policy has damaged trust with allies and adversaries alike. It's a sobering conversation about war, power, diplomacy—and what happens when no one can clearly define what “winning” even means anymore. Pastor Bob concludes our Acts series with a powerful message, “Acts: The Book that Never Ends,” reminding us that the work of the Holy Spirit continues today. He calls us to live among others in a way that reflects Christ, to run our race with joy and purpose, and to embrace a life of generosity. As we follow Paul's example, we are encouraged to stay present in our communities, rooted in our calling, and faithful in living out the Gospel each day.
Blood for Oil 2.0: Iran War Windfall – Big Oil, MIC Profiteers, TSA Slaves & the Corporate Screwjob That Never Ends! Today's episode is a full-on deep dive into the absolute clusterfuck we're living through right now: the Iran war that's jacking gas prices up $1+ a gallon, making Exxon and Lockheed richer than God, while the average American gets bent over the barrel – again. We're talking record profits for oil companies and weapons makers, a partial government shutdown leaving real federal workers unpaid (but not the lawmakers, of course – they're still cashing those checks), skyrocketing prices on everything from groceries to plane tickets, and the same old story: Republicans or Democrats in the Oval Office, it doesn't matter. We vote for the puppet, but the corporations pull the strings. For Chad, it's not just about chasing turkeys or wrapping up another waterfowl season. He's shifting gears. From the field to the business, to the grind of a long season, to preparing for what's next. In this episode, Chad talks through the reality of building a life in the hunting industry. The travel, the pressure, the partnerships, the opportunities, and the responsibility that comes with it. From Season 18 of Benelli's The Fowl Life to relationships with brands like Travel Wisconsin and Nutrien Ag Solutions, it's a behind-the-scenes look at what it actually takes to keep it all moving. He also dives into what it means to truly be part of this culture. It's conservation, giving back, working with veterans, supporting the next generation, and respecting the resource every step of the way. This isn't just about hunting. Listen in and hear how the season never really ends. It just changes. This episode is brought to you by Caesar's Palace and Entertainment, Banded Brands, Hi Viz Sights, Eukanuba Premium Dog food, Safari Club International, Jack Link's Jerky, Avery Outdoors, and Banded Casual Wear.

In this clip, Tom Satterly recounts a harrowing moment of total collapse on a near-vertical mountainside during Delta Force Selection where, exhausted and starving, he lost his compass in the thick brush and nearly walked away from it all. From the 120 candidates who started, only 18 made the cut, proving that the Unit isn't looking for "monster studs," but for relentless individuals with the mental fortitude to keep moving when their bodies have already quit. Entrepreneur and EOS implementer Sid Joshnani joins me to unpack what really happens when a business grows fast, becomes dangerously dependent on one client, and nearly collapses under its own fragility. Most business stories skip the middle — the sleepless payroll nights, the rejected credit cards, the clients who stretch payments while you carry 35 salaries on your back. This episode doesn't.Sid shares how his IT services company grew to $3 million in revenue — with one client representing 75% of it — and how that concentration nearly pushed him into bankruptcy. We walk through the tension of chasing late payments from large corporations, the anxiety of holding only $150 in the corporate checking account, and the uncomfortable realization that dependence kills leverage. From there, the conversation turns tactical.Sid explains how discovering EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) helped him move from firefighting to systems thinking. We break down pipeline discipline, activity-based metrics, hiring dedicated sales leadership, understanding unit economics, and why the ability to walk away from a deal only comes when you've architected your business not to need it.We also explore the emotional side: leaving Deloitte for entrepreneurship, briefly returning to consulting to survive, moonlighting to stay afloat, and the psychological weight of carrying other people's livelihoods. This isn't a glamorized founder story. It's a candid conversation about de-risking your business before it de-risks you.The lesson isn't avoiding struggle. It's building a company that can survive it.TL;DR* Client concentration risk can destroy otherwise profitable businesses* Large companies use extended payables as a financing tool — small vendors absorb the pain* The best negotiation position is not needing the deal* Revenue diversification creates leverage* Activity-based metrics matter more than lagging financial indicators* Cash in the bank is stability — not vanity* Unit economics must work before operating systems can scale them* Discipline and consistency outperform bursts of motivation* Entrepreneurship isn't freedom — it's responsibilityMemorable Lines* “The best way to negotiate a deal is to not need it.”* “When one client is 75% of your revenue, you don't own a business — you own a risk.”* “Big companies use small vendors as a finance tool.”* “Discipline and consistency always win.”* “You can't scale chaos — you have to systematize it first.”GuestSid Joshnani — Entrepreneur, EOS implementer, and Founder & CEO of RecrudoFormer MSP owner who rebuilt after near collapse and now helps companies implement EOS while also leading a staffing company connecting founders with offshore talent in the Philippines and Latin America.
Monique and Kevin discuss Rev. Jesse Jackson's recent death, marking the end of an era in Black civil rights activism. They reflect on their childhood reverence for Jackson as a civil rights icon alongside MLK, while also acknowledging how his legacy evolved into a "race hustler" who perpetuated grievance narratives and racial division rather than calling people to gospel repentance. They react to a clip from filmmaker and documentarian, Chad O. Jackson. Later, they react to a young social media personality who argues that multiculturalism/diversity weakens societies. It's a candid, "spicy" mix of nostalgia, sharp critique, humor, and a call to prioritize discipleship and true gospel hope.

In Part 5, we get into the real reason cards hit so hard for so many of us. Not just value, not just the chase, but the actual emotional and even physical reaction collectors can have to certain cards. We talk about what creates that feeling, what separates cards from other collectibles, and how the hobby's structure, history, and shared “language” shape the way we collect. The chat brings strong perspectives on nostalgia, enjoyment, and what keeps the collecting flame going over decades. We also touch briefly on a current topic that popped up on social media, then close with updates on POPs & COMPs, the Hobby Spectrum survey improvements, and what's coming next. If you're watching this episode in parts, this is the one that gets surprisingly personal about why we collect at all. POPs & COMPs update: The book has been uploaded to Amazon KDP and is currently in the review queue (up to 72 hours). Once it clears, we'll be ordering a proof copy to verify everything before it goes live. The Hobby Spectrum: If you haven't joined yet, get on the waitlist for an early access code. We're temporarily holding new codes while a handful of survey question revisions are being deployed, including a couple with more sophisticated logic. If you've already taken the assessment, you can retake it every 30 days. If you feel like your approach is evolving or you want a cleaner result after the updates, take it again when you're eligible. What's coming next: More functionality is on the way, including improved search and filtering and the ability to add who you collect so others can find you and connect on the platform of your choice. Podcast listeners: Even when there's no live show, episodes will continue to hit Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and everywhere you listen. Thanks for watching and for bringing the chat energy every week. It's The Pop Culture Professors, and we analyze the first three episodes of The Night Manager, season two. We consider the season as a continuation of Le Carré's narrative, and consider how far the themes of this new iteration of the series match those of Le Carré's wider body of work. We look into the ideologies (and views on ideology) that underpin the series, and consider the extent to which the Pine character, cycling endlessly from one identity to the next, is a hero for our post-truth age. More Than the Uniform: Greg Froelick's Pursuit of Purpose This week on the Team Never Quit Podcast, Marcus and Melanie sit down with former Navy SEAL and private aviation businessman*, Greg Froelick—a man who has dedicated his life to excellence, discipline, and service both on and off the battlefield. Greg's journey began after college, when he chose to serve his country and earned his place among the elite ranks of the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams. His time in special operations sharpened his perspective on resilience, teamwork, and intentional living—lessons he now carries into every corner of his life. After leaving the military, Greg transitioned into the medical sales industry, where he quickly proved himself in a competitive arena. His combination of grit, professionalism, and mission-focused thinking eventually opened the door to his next chapter with EMCJET, a premier group in the private aviation space. Today, he plays a key role on the EMCJET team, helping deliver world-class service with a warrior's level of precision and accountability. Greg recounts his experience aiding in the recovery efforts following the July 4th Camp Mystic flood disaster. He and Marcus reflect on their immediate decision to head to the affected area, coordinating the logistics required to make a meaningful impact—joining forces with several fellow Navy SEALs to provide help where it was needed most. Greg's story is a reminder that your mission doesn't end when one chapter closes. Whether in uniform or in business, he continues to serve — helping others live with intention. In this episode you will hear: • We shouldn't be on no defense - Department of Defense. This is the Department of War. We don't go on defense. You step up, and we'll come in and crush the shit out of you. (19:02) • Got into private aviation. It's like a real estate agent for private jets. (22:46) • [The gate at Camp Mystic] was twisted. You can't talk about it and do it justice – the way it was twisted steel. (34:46) • We're not by any means a search and rescue outfit, but we knew that we could help. (36:31) • We're this close to being signed up to be a care coalition. It's a safe place to land. (36:51) • You're at that point where “I hope I don't find anything” [and at the same time] “I hope I find it.” (41:01) • When the cadaver dogs showed up and the backhoe maintainers showed up – Game Changers. (41:16) • The one's that'll never get any attention or no one will ever know who they are the drivers of the maintainers. (41:51) • How many times did we walk on somebody before we even found ‘em, because they were buried under the dirt from the Cypress trees. (43:30) • This is why it was key to have the cadaver dogs because of everything else that was dead around it: horses, pigs, deer, dogs. (44:02) • Everything aside from the situation – A lot of good came from all that. (46:55) • The more people sometimes – the harder it becomes. Everybody just wants to help. We were fortunate to get in the way we got in. (48:27) • No one was there yet. It was just us. Some hauntings scream for attention. Others linger so long they become part of the wallpaper. It began innocently enough: a new house, two young daughters, and an imaginary friend named Shawn—a boy her four-year-old claimed to see every night at the foot of her bed. But when toys began to slide across the floor, drawers slammed shut on their own, and footsteps echoed in empty rooms, it became clear Shawn wasn't just a child's game. Friends stopped visiting after glimpsing a tall dark figure in the upstairs hall. Even a local ghost-hunting team —armed with cameras, EVP recorders, and experience—fled after one night, leaving behind a single chilling photo of a glowing orb clinging to the basement ceiling. Another lost photo, captured in daylight, showed a gray, child-sized figure standing behind her daughter during a birthday party. The activity never really stopped: lights flicker, toys burst into song on their own, TVs turn off and on, and at 3 A.M. a presence often wakes the eldest daughter—sometimes lowering to one knee beside her bed as if keeping vigil. This is more than a haunting; it's a story of endurance in a home that feels alive. #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #ShawnTheGhost #HauntedHouse #3AMHaunting #ParanormalActivity #GhostHunters #CreepyTrueStory #SupernaturalEncounters #UnseenPresence #HauntedFamily #TerrifyingHaunting Love real ghost stories?
