In the Gospel of John (Chapter 15 Verse 8), Jesus said, “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” If “bearing fruit” is the proof that we are Christ’s disciples, what is the fruit that we are to bear? (Note: This sermon is based largely on the YouTube video “Which One Are You in This Parable? The Parable of the Sower” by Christianity Engaged.) May God bless you as you engage in worship. "If you're nor a Christian, ask yourself why. Is it because of Satan, suffering, stress, or sin?" Son of God is a sermon series of sermons that covers Mark 1:1 to 6:29, exploring the bold and transformative claim that Jesus is the Son of God. In these early chapters of Mark’s Gospel, we see Jesus stepping onto the scene with unmatched authority—casting out demons, healing the sick, calming storms, and calling followers to a radical new life. Each sermon unpacks how his divine identity is revealed through his words and actions, challenging listeners to see Jesus not just as a good man, but as the Son of God who demands a response. Join us each week as we uncover the power, purpose, and person of Jesus Christ.
In Mark 4, we see Jesus preach three different parables, all of which give insight into the kingdom of God. Jesus uses these parables to illustrate a significant truth. There are two groups: those who seek to understand the kingdom of God and those who don’t. For those who seek to understand, Jesus says, they receive the secret to the kingdom; but for those who don't, the kingdom is folly to them. Visit us online at: www.RenewalChurch.net
What stories do you tell yourself? Jesus told stories that highlighted the truths of the kingdom of God. How do his stories interpret our own and connect us to his meta-narrative?
Parables are earthly stories with a heavenly meaning and were Jesus' favorite teaching method. Through these four parables, Jesus reveals three key truths about how God's Kingdom works in and through our lives. If you have the ears to hear, listen!

Spiritual reproduction and growth is the work of the Lord who uses people of faith to grow His family.
So many stand in front of the person and news that is Jesus and still fail to understand and believe he is who he says he is. Why is that? Well, Jesus himself tells us through his practice of speaking in parables why that is. As we look at this passage we must ask a tough question: Which comes first: understanding or faith?
To do Kingdom work, one must understand. To understand, one must hear. To hear, one must truly listen.

“Do you listen to Jesus?” In answering this question we shouldn’t be so quick to utter a yes, nor should we be too quick to dismiss it. Rather, we all should ask god to search our hearts for the true answer. In todays text Jesus will make it crystal clear that His word sorts people out into two categories, disciples or opponents. He also provides the pathway for our true joy if we would just listen closely.

Join us as we explore the life of Christ and the global revolution he leads that is the Kingdom of God.
Jesus spent a great deal of time teaching his followers, and his moral teaching has been loved through the ages. But he was more than a moral teacher - he was God, revealing his kingdom, even the parts that are hard to understand or accept. Are we willing to hear what he has to say about himself, and us, and our right response?
