In this message we explore Matthew 9 and the story of the paralyzed man carried by his friends to Jesus. Before the miracle happened, Jesus first spoke words of encouragement: “Take heart, your sins are forgiven.” Breakthrough doesn't begin with circumstances changing—it begins with a heart open to receive what God wants to do. Sometimes God lifts discouragement before He lifts the problem. Sometimes He deals with eternity before He changes the present. If you've ever wrestled with doubt, discouragement, or barriers between you and Jesus, this message will remind you: guard your encouragement, keep your heart open, and trust that God is preparing you for breakthrough.

We take a small detour, interrupt our regular schedule program. I felt God lead me to have an open heart discussion about Charlie Kirk. I respect Charlie a lot, don't need to agree with everything but his faith was something I admired. He would share the gospel literately to the nations. Loving his neighbor by speaking truth right to their faces. (Again, didn't necessarily agree with all his approaches) but that he shared love! That he spread unity! That he gave grace… I know he did, I seen, heard it. Its not just Charlie death that matters, all deaths matter, which is why we cannot keep down this path! We had a movement happening; NOW we have a revival!! Violance is never the answer, but LOVE is! And nothing stops LOVE, its UNDEFEATED!! She says, attachment is very primordial and can manifest as as possessiveness, manipulation, controlling, expectations, addictions. Send us a textAfter attending a great mid-August mountain retreat celebrating Ram Dass (born Richard Alpert) with several hundred people -- complete with kirtan with Krishna Das (lead singer of the precursor to Blue Oyster Cult), Nina Rao, David Nichtern (who wrote "Midnight at the Oasis", for starters) and more; talks by Robert Thurman and more; and a deep rapport with many -- Fairfax criminal defense lawyer Jonathan Katz returned from the mountains and found himself repeating old patterns in dealing with such challenges as tailgating drivers. Three weeks later, Jon Katz joined his friend and peace teacher Jun Yasuda for a whole weekend at her battery-recharging peace pagoda in upstate New York, where the days were filled with mindful eating, doing concrete work, stacking wood, driving through the beautiful mountains to Bennington, VT for supplies, and repeatedly chanting the Odaimoku and sections of the Lotus Sutra. By then, Jon got back on track with the importance of focusing on both an open heart and internal peacefulness -- together with keeping touch with like-minded people -- as the way to integrate this practice in dealing with challenging people and situations, where sometimes the most challenging people are really ourselves.
