Hi friend! Last week it was great hearing Sarah Tucker share her story with us when she walked through getting a disease called Endocarditis which caused her to have open heart surgery 10 years ago. She shares about God’s Faithfulness as her friends and family rallied around her during a really difficult time in her life. You can go one episode back to hear it on episode 117. The right mix of emotional intelligence and understanding of competing forces in a geographical area are keys to being a leader —in both the private and public sectors. As an international executive and a business owner, respectively, Dr. Woody Myers and his wife Stacy Myers, understand what it takes to be great leaders. It means putting people first. Finding the common thread that binds people, regardless of background, and having empathy are keys to running successful businesses and successful governments. In Part 2 of our this “All in” series, we delve into why it’s necessary to take calculated risks when you want to create success —and the right type of radical change.
Sitting on the sidelines won't make change happen. In this episode of “Take a Moment,” you’ll hear from a dynamic couple who know transformation doesn't just happen by chance. It takes action and bold decisions that might be uncomfortable for some but are in the best interest for the future. With more than 30 years in healthcare leadership, Drs. Woody and Stacy Myers delve into what shaped them into change makers and leadership qualities that are key to making moments of change count.
In this episode you will be introduced to Stacy Myers a healthcare professional for almost 30 years. Two of her passions are children and caring for those in need. Biography In 2010, I experienced a major lower back (L4/L5/S1) disc herniation/damage. Although surgery was the recommendation by 4 different specialists, I was not a candidate due to my age; I was told I was too young. The double fusion surgery I need isn't typically done until a person is in their 60's unless it's an emergent case and mine was not such. I ended up losing my job as I could no longer perform my duties (lifting patients, lifting equipment, being on my feet for extended periods of time, etc). After 8 years of daily pain, I found HempWorx CBD Oil. I was only familiar with Marijuana CBD Oil which was not (and still is not) legal in my state of residency. I knew nothing about Hemp Oil but I did my research, learned it was legal in all 50 states, read numerous medical studies/abstracts, discussed it with my husband who is a physician, and two weeks later, made my purchase. I took my 1st serving, 3 drops under my tongue that night before going to bed. I slept better than I can ever remember, didn't awaken once, my back pain was GONE, and my symptoms from overall body pain were gone! I was in awe! I was cautiously optimistic. THE RELIEF finally came. https://www.facebook.com/StacyMyersRRT Learn more at https://myershealthventures.com/ Melissa Alves can be reached at Facebook https://www.facebook.com/melissa.alves.7121 Email melis@ourgreaterpurpose.com

Making healthy and nutritious meals for my family is so important to me! In fact, it's one of the biggest areas I focus on within my home. I am thankful for the resources to be able to cook and provide food that will nourish my family to have the energy and stamina to serve the Lord in everyday life! But I also know how overwhelming and hard it can be to begin cooking healthy (or to jump back into it). In today's episode, I've got Wardee from Traditional Cooking School sharing her SIMPLE tips for getting started with real food in a healthy kitchen.
