Top Ten from 2025: #9 Raising Healthy Kids: Free Tips with Emily Johnson (Episode 275) 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." *Transcription of original episode* Raising Healthy Kids: Free Tips with Emily Johnson (Episode 275) Hi, I'm Emily Johnson. I am a homeschool mama of two beautiful kiddos, married to my high school sweetheart, and the owner of Gracious Healing, a online nutritional practice that works with families to get to the root of their health issues with a holistic view and approach. I deeply love Jesus and pursue Him in all that I do, including health. After walking through decades of undiagnosed health issues, I was lead to the world of functional medicine and eventually into the holistic health world. After finding support for my body and that of my kids (who have been on their own health journeys) I was able to pursue further education and began working with clients on a 1:1 basis, to help them find the hope and health that I have found. Gospel Scripture: (all NIV) Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:24 “and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:25 (a) “God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.” Hebrews 9:22 (b) “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:11 “Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Luke 15:10 says “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 1:13–14 “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession- to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:15–23 “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” Ephesians 2:8–10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.“ Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.“ Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

In this episode, Dr. Tony Ebel makes the case that one of the most powerful things you can do for your child's immune system is also the simplest — and the most overlooked. Drawing on his upbringing on a cattle and grain farm in northwest Iowa, Dr. Tony connects real-life farm stories to cutting-edge neuroimmunology to show why getting outside, playing in the dirt, and embracing exposure is foundational to raising healthy, resilient kids. He breaks down the hygiene hypothesis, shares findings from a groundbreaking Finland daycare study, and explains why fear of germs may be doing more damage than the germs themselves. Whether you live on a farm or in a suburb, this episode will change the way you think about your family's everyday environment.-----Links & Resources:The Resilient Family Summit: Raising Healthy Kids in a Crazy Stressful Worldhttps://www.thepxdocs.com/offers/Crje8Pri-----Key Topics & Timestamps00:02 How Over-Medicalization Created the Sickest Generation Ever 00:07 Farm Life & Why His Family Almost Never Went to the Doctor 00:11 His Dad's Broken Finger and What It Taught Him About Immune Resilience 00:14 Why Chronic Fear and Worry May Be the Worst Health Threat of All 00:16 What Kids Actually Get from Being Outside: Sun, Sweat, Air & Vitamin D 00:25 Kids Spend Less Time Outside Than Prison Inmates — Here's Why It Matters 00:28 The Perfect Storm: Raising the Cleanest — and Sickest — Generation Ever 00:33 The Finland Rewilding Study: What 43 Daycares Proved in 2–4 Weeks 00:40 The Most Advanced Intervention Is the One We Left Behind 75 Years Ago-- Follow us on Socials: Instagram: @pxdocsFacebook: Dr. Tony Ebel & The PX Docs NetworkYoutube: The PX DocsFor more information, visit PXDocs.com to read informative articles about the power of Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care.Find a PX Doc Office near me: PX DOCS DirectoryTo watch Dr. Tony's 30 min Perfect Storm Webinar: Click Here

What happens when a world-famous chef starts questioning the food system, modern wellness culture, and the way we've been taught to think about health? In this rerun episode of BS Free MD, Drs. May and Tim Hindmarsh sit down with Australian chef, author, and wellness advocate Pete Evans for a conversation that goes far beyond recipes and nutrition trends. Pete shares how his journey from professional surfer to celebrity chef eventually led him toward a deeper exploration of healing, intentional living, and the emotional connection people have with food. The discussion dives into the power of real, minimally processed ingredients, the importance of reconnecting with cooking at home, and why food may play a larger role in overall wellness than many people realize. Pete also reflects on the cultural and spiritual side of eating — from slowing down and sharing meals to questioning the systems that shape modern health advice. This episode is less about rigid diet rules and more about curiosity, awareness, and reclaiming a healthier relationship with what we put into our bodies. In This Episode Pete Evans' evolution from celebrity chef to wellness advocate Why real food and cooking at home matter more than ever The connection between food, community, and emotional well-being How modern lifestyles may be disconnecting people from health The role of intentional living and mindful eating Why questioning mainstream narratives became part of Pete's journey Thoughts on healing, simplicity, and returning to foundational habits About Pete Evans Pete Evans is an Australian chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and television personality known for his focus on whole foods, wellness, and lifestyle-centered health approaches. Over the years, he has become a prominent voice in conversations around nutrition, cooking, and alternative health philosophies. He is also associated with the documentary The Magic Pill, which explored dietary approaches to chronic disease and metabolic health. Welcome to BS Free MD — the podcast where medicine, freedom, family, culture, and curiosity collide. Hosted by Dr. May Hindmarsh and Dr. Tim Hindmarsh, BS Free MD is known for having bold, unfiltered conversations that challenge conventional thinking in healthcare and beyond. From wellness and medical freedom to culture, science, parenting, and current events, the show explores topics many people are thinking about — but few are willing to openly discuss. With a mix of humor, honesty, skepticism, and humanity, May and Tim bring on physicians, scientists, authors, advocates, and thought leaders for conversations designed to help listeners think critically, ask better questions, and live more intentionally. Whether you agree, disagree, or land somewhere in the middle, BS Free MD invites listeners into thoughtful dialogue without the corporate filter. Listen & Follow BS Free MD
Keep winning! Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald interviewed Robin Wilson. Topic: Clean Design, wellness, asthma and allergy–aware livingFeatured Work: Clean Design: Wellness for Your Lifestyle Robin Wilson, a clean design lifestyle expert and founder of the Clean Design Home brand, joins Rushion McDonald to discuss how everyday household choices directly impact health—particularly for people living with asthma, allergies, and chronic inflammation. Drawing from her personal experiences as a lifelong allergy and asthma sufferer, Wilson explains how creating an allergen-aware home can dramatically improve quality of life. Purpose of the Interview The primary purpose of the interview is to: Educate listeners about how indoor environments contribute to asthma, allergies, and chronic health issues Promote Robin Wilson’s Clean Design philosophy and book, which provides room-by-room guidance for creating healthier homes Raise awareness that simple, practical lifestyle changes—not expensive renovations—can significantly improve wellness Normalize conversations around asthma, allergies, and environmental triggers as serious, manageable health conditions Rushion also uses the platform to share his own deeply personal experiences with allergic reactions, reinforcing the life-changing importance of Wilson’s message.. Key Takeaways 1. Your Home Should Be a Breathing Sanctuary Wilson emphasizes that many people focus on outdoor allergens while overlooking indoor exposure. Shoes, coats, pillows, furniture, and bedding often trap pollen, bacteria, and toxins that worsen symptoms once brought indoors.. 2. Pillows and Bedding Are Major Health Triggers One of the most memorable segments centers on pillows: Many people keep pillows for six years or more Old pillows accumulate dander, pollen, drool, bacteria, and allergens A pillow that stays folded is a sign it needs to be replaced Wilson introduces her “rule of threes”: Wash pillowcases every three weeks Wash pillow protectors every three months Replace pillows every three years Rushion shares that replacing a problematic pillow helped eliminate a chronic cough that seriously affected his life.. 3. “Allergen-Aware” Is More Honest Than “Hypoallergenic” Wilson avoids the term hypoallergenic because allergies vary from person to person. Instead, she advocates for ingredient transparency, empowering consumers to decide what is safe for their bodies and homes.. 4. Small Habits Create Big Health Outcomes Key daily practices include: Removing shoes immediately upon entering the home Washing hands before eating Changing clothes after being outdoors Cleaning from the top down (ceiling fans, surfaces, floors) Protecting mattresses and pillows with zippered covers Wilson stresses that consistency—not perfection—is what reduces exposure over time.. 5. Asthma Is a Serious Chronic Condition Wilson compares asthma management to diabetes care: It requires ongoing lifestyle adjustments Ignoring triggers increases the risk of severe attacks Clean environments reduce flare-ups and emergency situations She explains that nighttime asthma and allergy attacks often occur when cortisol levels drop during sleep, allowing reactions to surface.. 6. The Book Is a Practical, Room-by-Room Guide Clean Design: Wellness for Your Lifestyle is designed as a reference guide, not a cover-to-cover read. It addresses: Entryways and living rooms Bedrooms and nurseries Kitchens and bathrooms Home offices, basements, garages, and outdoor spaces Wilson also includes low-toxicity cleaning tips inspired by her grandmother, such as using baking soda, toothpaste, and even Coca-Cola instead of harsh chemicals.. Notable Quotes “One in five people suffer from asthma or allergies… and the home should be a sanctuary for easy breathing.”. “Break up with your pillow.”. “You might be allergic outside—and then come inside and double your allergen load.”.t “Asthma is like diabetes. If you manage the triggers, you reduce the risk of a serious episode.”. “It’s all about effort and consistency.”. #SHMS #BEST #STRAWSteve Harvey Morning Show Online: http://www.steveharveyfm.com/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Where do you do your best thinking? It's probably not where you spend most of your time working. In fact, the environment you choose can quietly influence how clearly you think, how creative you are, and how well you perform. There's a simple shift that can make a noticeable difference.
