Sam Hughes speaks to VJ Rosales of The Filharmonic about their origins, career, challenges, Pitch Perfect 2 and more! The unique and harmonious a-cappella band, The Filharmonic's culturally diverse tone, and style exemplifies a melodic, urban-esque sound with a 90's vibe. The Filipino-American group was brought into recognition when they won NBC's “The Sing-Off”, which launched them on a national tour, performing alongside Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas and Pentatonix. Most recently you can see the band perform in Universal's hit-movie, PITCH PERFECT 2.
