Sergio Cilli is going to get hate from both sides. The pro-AI crowd thinks he's mocking their tools. The anti-AI crowd thinks he's a hypocrite for using them. He's fine with that. Cilli is a director and writer who came up through sketch comedy and the writers' room of a David Spade Comedy Central show, went on to the Late Late Show as a segment producer, built a commercial directing career through Funny or Die, and has been making people laugh on the internet for twenty years. His Instagram series Will AI Replace Us? has become one of the sharpest, funniest pieces of AI criticism online precisely because he's doing both at once -- using the tools seriously enough to know exactly where they fall apart, then putting that failure on camera and reacting to it live. The comedy isn't a take. It's a demonstration. Chris and Daniel sit with Sergio and get into how the series actually started, why the joke stops being funny the second you swap in a human actor, what the gaps in AI performance reveal about what real acting actually is, and why all those viral "Hollywood is cooked" demo reels conveniently avoid putting anyone on camera with a speaking part. They also dig into the moat question -- why AI has flattened every competitive advantage in the industry except the one that always mattered: knowing what's good. Kristin Scott Benson is the seven-time International Bluegrass Music Association's Banjo Player of the Year, recipient of the 2018 Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, and 2024 inductee into the American Banjo Hall of Fame. Since 2008, she has been a member of Grammy-nominated and two-time IBMA Entertainers of the Year, The Grascals. Kristin is one of the nation's top bluegrass banjo players, exhibiting impeccable taste, timing, and tone. With an attentive ear to back-up, she is known and respected as a true team player among her peers. Many consider her to be one of the first females to successfully be a side-musician in a top-tiered bluegrass band:“There was one grass ceiling no woman could cut through—until Kristin Scott Benson came along, that is. Almost two years ago, she joined The Grascals. Not to front the band, not to sing, not to be eye candy, but instead to drive the group with her five string banjo. Until then, no woman had ever been hired to play one of the most defining of the bluegrass instruments in an Alist, festival-headlining, all-male band….It's a high profile gig, as Kristin takes the banjo where no woman has taken it before.”Larry Nager – “Kristin Scott Benson – Cutting the Grass Ceiling” Bluegrass Unlimited: Oct, 2010.In 2022, Kristin became the newest endorser for Deering Banjos. Benson now plays a Custom Deering Golden Wreath model with a curly maple neck and speed finish. This banjo came about after trying a number of different Deering banjos and is an amalgamation of all the different models in Deering's Golden Series - the Golden Wreath, Golden Era, and Rustic Wreath. Kristin's newest release is a unique project. Under the artist's name Benson, the 2023 album Pick Your Poison was released by Mountain Home Records and is a collaborative effort between two of bluegrass music's most treasured instrumentalists: Kristin and her husband, mandolinist Wayne Benson. With decades of experience in top-tier bands, both have established themselves as stalwarts in the community. After years of paving separate musical paths, the two finally decided it was time to integrate their identities and create something new together. Benson is their first combined effort, despite having been married for over 20 years.Kristin has been featured on The Grascals' albums since 2008. As part of the Grascals, Kristin's media performances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Fox & Friends, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and CBS' The Talk, among others. The band has also performed for Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, as well as accumulating over 200 performances on The Grand Ole Opry.

How many encores can one scandal have? There were more fireworks as RTÉ director general Kevin Bakhurst and his executives found themselves brought before yet another tense Oireachtas Media Committee. Emotions were high as the payment status of late Arena presenter Seán Rocks and the perilous situation of his family were brought to light and challenged. Elsewhere, similar question marks were applied to Oliver Callan, Tommy Tiernan, Derek Mooney, George Lee and Kevin Bakhurst himself. So, where does this saga go from here? And how is the future of Patrick Kielty as the host of The Late Late Show tied in? On this Extra episode of The Indo Daily, host Kevin Doyle is joined by Irish Independent Ireland Editor Fionnán Sheahan to break down the latest revelations and rancour. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Today, RTÉ said it had previously excluded Mooney from its yearly published top 10 highest paid presenter list, as he has been considered a producer since 2020.RTÉ Chief Executive Kevin Backhurst justified the broadcaster's decision, while some have called out the parallels with the scandal which rocked RTÉ almost three years ago, after it was revealed that the national broadcaster had under-declared payments to former Late Late Show host, Ryan Tubridy…Joining Shane to discuss this is Patrick O Donovan, Minister for Arts, Media, Communications, Culture and Sport.

Episode Summary Erin and Rachel discuss Tangled (2010), the 50th animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios and one of Rachel's favorites. Based on the fairytale of Rapunzel, this coming-of-age tale features songs from Disney veteran Alan Menken and impressive computer animation. Although Erin and Rachel disagree about the viability of the romantic plot, they agree that Mother Gothel is an effective villain and Pascal is a delightful sidekick. Episode References 羽静. Some days, teachers walk into the classroom carrying more than just their teaching materials. This show explores what it means to teach on an “off” day; the quiet challenge of showing up with energy, focus, and presence when you don't quite feel like yourself. We'll look at the pressure that comes with that reality, but also the unexpected upside: how the act of stepping into the role can sometimes lift us, ground us, and even help us through. It's an honest conversation about the strain, the resilience, and the surprising opportunities hidden in the harder days.

The lads are buzzing after their second appearance on the Late Late Show, and not even the abysmal Facebook comments can bring them down! They laugh at some of the worst ones, while also acknowledging the loyal girlies who always have their backs. Inspired by Bad Bunny's recent Super Bowl performance, the theme for this week is celebrity activism.
