Branding is more than just a logo in 2019. It's the way that customers recognize and experience your business. With social media being the easiest and most cost effective way to reach any audience, branding your business on those platforms is crucial. What's the best example to turn to for successful, engaging branding? Celebrity twitter might have the answer. "With Drake or Kanye or some of these celebrities in music, they treat their brand a certain way and really branded themselves to get successful," said Nick Minor, Business Development Manager at MarketScale. "Not only are they doing music but they’re doing movies, being sponsored by Apple Music, that’s a big one. This is something that businesses can do as well, leveraging what they’re doing to get more business." Minor, having previously worked on branding initiaitves with the Calgary Flames' AAA affiliate, joined us on this episode of MarketScale Thought Leaders to give his personal insight on why looking at the way that celebrities represent themselves as a brand, constantly differentiating themselves from other celebrities, is a technique that business need to adopt to stand out. B2B marketers have consistently cited brand awareness as their top goal over the last 5 years, and Minor is here to get you closer to that goal.

The Miami Dolphins dominated the Denver Broncos in all three phases of the game and came away with a 35-9 victory on Sunday. This means their slim playoff hopes are still alive, but they'll need to win their remaining four games and it won't be an easy task. Can Kenyan Drake and Xavien Howard build off the Broncos game and carry that forward over the next four games? They'll be tested quickly against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. If they can continue the success they found on Sunday, the Dolphins just might be able to pull off the upset against the Patriots. We'll also discuss how the special teams unit can build off their success from the Broncos game. With Drake emerging on Sunday, there are now questions as to whether or not he can sustain this. If he can, does this mean the Dolphins should look away frmo an elite talent like Saquon Barkley? Head Coach Adam Gase said he doesn't like to have featured backs, but MC$ and Sutton explain how his history of running backs says otherwise. As always, we take your questions frmo the Phinsider Radio mailbag. Then, we close out the show with a depressing look at the future of the NFL. Will it still be around in 15-20 years? We discuss after a brutal Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals game on Monday Night Football. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

With Drake and Ed dominating the charts, ChinWag calls on some more special guests to help sort the charts.
The Game vs. Meek Mill (14:05) It seems like Meek Mill keeps walking into L’s. The latest coming at the hand The Game. Within a week Game dropped 92 Bars an bagged that up with Pest Control. To make it something serious the Game dedicated an entire visual experience for Pest Control. Even with Meek Mill’s OOOUU Remix it’s like nothing he is doing can seem to connect in anyway shape or form. As Keith said he is a “millennial gangsta rapper” and does things about the money. Chance The Rapper’s Independence (32:28) Chance has shown that his moves are about Chance. He drops an album excursively on Apple and then follows that up with the live stream of the Magnificent Coloring Day on Tidal. Chance is doing some things that haven’t been seen on an independent level in the streaming era. With Drake getting a billion streams on Apple, we could possibly see Chance go a more profitable route at the end of the day. It’s all about progression in the music. We compared the progressions of Drake, Jeezy, and T. I. FX’s Atlanta (58:45) When it comes to TV shows, I’m very selective. When it comes to TV shows set in Atlanta, my expectations couldn’t be in any lower. So when FX decided that they were green lighting the Donald Glover’s ‘Atlanta‘ set in the ATL, I sighed but was optimistic. I’m so glad I gave it a shot. This could be possibly the best show since Mr. Robot. We check in on the first season so far. Thanks again for listening to the show!
