Ceres Mussnich, Business Development Manager, Forvis Mazars.

Together with his brothers, Dr. Jim and Michael, he is committed to strengthening the companies' market position and honoring their longstanding family legacy.
Andy Holmes carries two titles that rarely appear in the same sentence. He is the Business Development Manager for the Americas at Informed Sport and Informed Choice, the world's largest anti-doping third-party certification organization. He is also the Strength Chaplain at Ottawa University, a role he helped create and one that speaks directly to what he believes coaching is actually for. On this episode of the Samson Strength Coach Collective, Holmes makes the case that toughness has been misread by athletes and coaches alike, and that the weight room is one of the best places to correct that. The reframe is direct. Fighting is easy. Drinking is easy. Walking away from both, showing up when it is hard, being accountable to something bigger than yourself, that is tough. Holmes builds that framework with a football roster of 150 to 200 players at the NAIA level, players who come from all kinds of backgrounds and often land at Ottawa because something did not work out somewhere else. He is not running a Sunday school class. He is coaching, and the physical demands of training give him a credible platform to say things these athletes have not heard from many men in their lives.Holmes also spends significant time on the supplement safety side of his work. As someone who has spent a decade inside the anti-doping certification world, he has a clear-eyed view of the manufacturing vulnerabilities that put athletes at risk. One in ten non-third-party-tested products contains something that could trigger a failed drug test. NIL has compounded the problem by flooding the market with unvetted brands and unvetted product, and the legal exposure for strength staff and dietitians has grown alongside the money in sports. The two halves of this conversation connect. Whether Holmes is talking about what goes into an athlete's body or what goes into an athlete's mind, the underlying principle is the same: responsibility is not optional, and taking the easy road has a cost.Key TakeawaysToughness is not what most athletes think it is. The easy road is fighting, drinking, and avoiding accountability. The hard road is showing up, doing the work, and being responsible to something beyond yourself.Athletes respond when a coach cares about more than their position on the depth chart. When a player knows their value is not tied to their spot on the roster, they open up. That is where real influence starts. The weight room is a credible platform for hard conversations. The struggle of getting stronger maps directly onto the struggle of growing as a person, and athletes who train hard already understand what it means to earn something. One in ten non-certified supplements contains something that can cause a failed drug test. The manufacturing pipeline is more compromised than most coaches and athletes realize, and the legal exposure for strength staff when something goes wrong has grown significantly.NIL has created a supplement compliance gap most programs are not equipped to handle. Athletes signing deals with unvetted brands and taking untested product are putting their eligibility at risk, and the coaching staff can end up in the lawsuit.Quote"The easy way out is fighting, drinking. A lot of times doing the hard thing is being tough. That's one of the biggest things we try to teach. What does it mean to be tough spiritually as well?" — Andy Holmes

Battery storage is becoming one of the most complicated sales conversations in residential solar.Installers are now navigating different sizing requirements, shifting homeowner expectations, changing utility rate structures, evolving battery chemistries, and a flood of new products entering the market at wildly different price points. And underneath all of it is a harder question:Who can you actually trust to still be standing behind these systems years from now?Sam Buffington, Business Development Manager at Pylontech, joins Nico Johnson for a deeply practical conversation about what installers should actually be paying attention to as batteries become a core part of the residential energy system.Sam has worked across modules, distribution, and storage, and he's even built his own off-grid home by hand. That gives him a rare perspective on how solar-plus-storage systems behave in the real world and where installers most often create long-term problems for themselves.Expect to learn:

In this episode of IndieGameBusiness, we're joined by Romy Halfweeg, Business Development Manager at Poki, to break down how indie developers can succeed in the growing world of web gaming. Romy shares an overview of the browser gaming space, how it has evolved, and where Poki fits today with a catalog of over 1600 games. Drawing from her experience as a former indie developer, she explains how that perspective shapes how Poki works with developers and what they look for when signing new games. We'll dive into who the web gaming audience is, what gameplay loops perform best, and which monetization strategies actually work. Romy also covers the technical considerations developers need to think about when building for the web, and how indie teams can position themselves to take advantage of this platform. If you're looking for new distribution channels, revenue streams, or ways to reach massive audiences without traditional storefronts, this episode is packed with practical insight. Verkaufen lernen B2B: Warum es die wichtigste Fähigkeit überhaupt ist „Life is a Sales Talk." Genau da setzt gutes B2B Sales lernen an. Beides steckt an. Persönliche Weiterentwicklung passiert nur dort – nie innerhalb dessen, was du schon kennst. An deiner Einstellung. An deinen Gedanken. An deiner Choreografie.

In this Valentine's Day episode of the Green Side Up podcast, Jason and Jordan are back in the "bunker of love" with special guest Eric, Business Development Manager for Gravely Commercial Mowers. The trio traces Eric's unlikely journey from a chance airport encounter after the Equip Expo in Louisville to hanging out in the bunker, then dives into the rich, family-owned legacy of Ariens Co. and the Gravely brand—from snow machines and walk‑behind tractors to today's commercial mower lineup. They unpack the realities of the green industry: healthy vs. cutthroat competition, the "race to the bottom" on pricing, and why real business development is more about consistent action than hype from seminars. Eric breaks down his role as a BDM, how to measure the impact of that position, and why landscapers need to decide if they're Taco Bell or Neiman Marcus. The conversation also previews Gravely's Pro-Stance Ultra, 260, HD, and the radio‑controlled OVIS slope mower that will be featured at the upcoming Landscape Rodeo, along with details on the event, competitions, and why this rodeo is all about raising the bar for the industry while still having a ton of fun.
In this podcast extra, John Kempf joins Ed Baumgartner, Founder, and Andrew Dixon, Business Development Manager, of BASS Hybrids on a BASSCAST to discuss regenerative corn production. They explore transitioning from chemical-heavy practices to biological systems using microbial inoculants like Biocoat Gold to improve soil health and plant resilience. They also discuss: Using Biocoat Gold as a biological seed treatment to set plants up for better long-term success. The "rhizophagy cycle," where plants meet nutritional needs by recruiting and "consuming" soil microbes. Observations of interseeded companion crops increasing corn yields rather than just competing for resources. Delaying the "black layer" in corn by up to 12 days through optimal biological nutrition to gain test weight. The effectiveness of biological treatments even when applied to seeds pre-coated with traditional fungicides. How diverse microbial health naturally lowers excess sodium and chloride levels in irrigation systems. Strategies for reducing synthetic nitrogen dependency while maintaining high-yield performance. In this episode of the Green Side Up podcast, Jordan and Jason talk with longtime friend Andrew "Duck Fisherman" Fucarino about his unusual path from family-owned compounding pharmacy to Business Development Manager for Independent Tree Service. Andrew shares how he helped build a niche, cash-pay compounding business (including custom dry eye drops from patients' own blood serum) that was eventually acquired, why burnout pushed him out of healthcare, and how he's now leveraging his Carrollwood network to open doors with HOAs, property managers, and commercial clients. They dig into what real business development looks like in tree care—education, relationships, understanding budgets, and not wasting time on bad-fit work—while mixing in stories about duck hunting, mini-retirement, and reinventing your career in your 40s.

Every day, we drink coffee without a second thought – but few of us actually stop to think about what happens to the grounds left behind. Globally, 60 million tonnes of spent coffee grounds are discarded every year, most of which end up in landfill, where they release methane. Yet those same grounds are packed with antioxidants, oils, and bioactive compounds with incredible potential for skincare products. In this episode of Green Beauty Conversations, Formula Botanica CEO Lorraine Dallmeier speaks with Cynthia Staats, Business Development Manager at Caffe Inc., a pioneering Dutch company that's transforming coffee waste into high-performance cosmetic ingredients. We are the bread system. If you eat bread – or any grains – you are part of it. >> This series was first released in Nov/Dec 2019. We are re-releasing it now 6 years later as we are digging back in to document the collective impact of the series and to celebrate the work of those continuing to build the new grains movement. As part of this project we are collecting voice notes from anyone who listened, inviting you to share a bit of how Cereal impacted you and whether the series sparked any change or action, big or small - maybe it made you think differently about something, or maybe you completely changed career - we want to hear both and all stories! The voice notes will form part of a new Farmerama episode and digital soundmap. We are collecting these stories now, so if you would like to send your story our way, then you can send us an audio message on: WhatsApp +447466301300, or via our instagram messages. Please let us know who you are, where you are based and then whatever part of your story you would like to share. We are excited to hear from you! >> So how can we all get involved, and what can we do to usher in the new grains movement to build joy, nutrition and resilience in all of our communities? In this final episode, we explore what a more efficient, nutritious, regenerative and joyful bread system might look like. We hear some of the ways people are coming together and building networks to strengthen the movement in the UK and further afield. It's clear that in this beautifully complex, entangled system, even just a conversation can spark much wider change. This is a story of hope and a blueprint that has the potential to cause reverberations far beyond bread. It turns out that bread is political – and you, too, can take a stand for the world you want to live in. This might be our final episode of Cereal, but it isn't the end – it's just the beginning! Join the new grains movement. Talk to your local bakers, seek out local millers, thank your farmers, be open-minded, be curious. A huge thank you to everyone who's contributed to Cereal. As well as the voices you hear in this episode, many more conversations have helped to shape the series. Thanks to Andrew Whitley (Scotland the Bread), Kim Bell (Small Food Bakery and UK Grain Lab), Mark Lea (Greenacres Farm), Fred Price (Gothelney Farmer), Steven Jacobs (Organic Farmers & Growers), Ben MacKinnon (E5 Bakehouse), Anne Parry (Felin Ganol), Rupert Dunn (Torth y Tir), Josiah Meldrum (Hodmedods), Tomaso Ferrando (University of Antwerp) and Fintan Keenan. The Steel Porcupine is an unforgettable cinematic experience that exposes Russia's campaign of extermination in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian people's spirit to resist and prevail. It follows soldiers, volunteers and people who decided that survival meant resistance, not submission.Created by the makers of the acclaimed To the Zero Line, this is another film about humanity, that clearly states there is no such thing as neutrality when war crimes are being committed systematically by Russia, and on a scale in Europe only comparable to World War Two. Set to a haunting soundtrack featuring music by Philip Glass, and blending rare archival footage with original material, it is an impactful work of art and storytelling, as well as being informative.----------WORKS NOMINATED BY: Christine Khariv BOOKSArtem Chapeye - Ordinary People Don't Carry Machine Guns (2025)Lesia Ukrainka - Cassandra: A Dramatic PoemLesia Ukrainka - The Forest Song: A Fairy PlayFILMSSergei Parajanov - Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors (1965)Pavlo Ostrikov - U Are the Universe (2024)WORKS OF ARTIvan Marchuk----------SUPPORT THE CHANNEL:https://www.buymeacoffee.com/siliconcurtainhttps://www.patreon.com/siliconcurtain----------TRUSTED CHARITIES ON THE GROUND:Save Ukrainehttps://www.saveukraineua.org/Superhumans - Hospital for war traumashttps://superhumans.com/en/UNBROKEN - Treatment.
