This episode includes a great discussion on the role of applied physiology research in the physical therapy profession and the effects of fatiguability on activity limitations.

In this interview we discuss the findings of this study and the role of physical therapists in pulmonary rehabilitation programs for patients both awaiting and following lung transplantation.

In this interview we discuss the findings of this study and how measures of diaphragm contractility can be implemented across a variety of clinical settings.

We discuss her work which investigates the influence of vascular function in patients with stroke and the role of exercise therapy in this population. We also discuss her career as a researcher, including her experiences chairing the interdisciplinary scientific statement development group on exercise training for patients with stroke and the process of developing and directing a research lab.
