This Designers for Learning webinar was held on Wednesday, September 2nd at 7 p.m. (CDT). We kicked off our latest project with a brief live webinar to welcome volunteers to our latest instructional design project. The objective of the webinar was to (a) welcome volunteers to the project team, (b) provide a general overview of the project, and (c) field questions / comments about direction and next steps.
This Designers for Learning webinar was held on July 28, 2015. The purpose of the webcast was to discuss plans for our next service-learning project with those who have expressed interest in participating in the design and / or facilitation of the next iteration of our Designers for Learning service-learning projects that focus on the instructional design of open educational resources (OER) for adult basic education.
In this open house webinar held on June 23, 2015, several participants from our recent instructional design service-learning cohort joined us to showcase their design work and describe the experience. We also spent a few minutes talking about upcoming plans for our fall project.
Tracee Vetting Wolf joined us on Friday, June 5, 2015 to share her experiences designing and facilitating an open online course on the Canvas Network platform. Wendy Gentry and Jennifer Maddrell shared design ideas we are contemplating for the next iteration of our Designers for Learning service-learning projects, and discussed with Tracee the impact of designing and facilitating a significantly larger scale experience than we have tackled to date.
