Go past the stereotypes and delve into what it's really like to navigate life as an Enneagram Type 5. Join Cody Harris (5w6) and Josiah Goff (5w4), as well as a community of other Fives, as we explore a different aspect of life as a Five in each episode.
The Enneagram Five podcast is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently, and I am absolutely hooked! As someone who has a husband who is a Type 5 on the Enneagram, it's been so helpful and enlightening to listen to Cody and Josiah share their experiences as Fives. Their genuine and transparent approach to discussing the human experience through the lens of this personality type is refreshing and inviting. Each episode feels like a casual conversation with old friends, making it an enjoyable addition to any commute or downtime.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how relatable it is for anyone, regardless of whether they are a Type 5 or not. Cody and Josiah have a way of making you feel seen and understood, with moments in each episode where you find yourself thinking, "Oh my gosh, that's me!" The episodes are cleverly crafted, funny, informative, and super encouraging. They provide unique insights into what it means to be an Enneagram Five and how that affects various aspects of life. It's both entertaining and educational at the same time.
In terms of drawbacks, it would be great to see more regularity in episode releases. While binge-listening to most of the available episodes was fun, I can't help but crave for more content. Additionally, as much as I love their discussions about various topics related to being a Five, it would be interesting to hear them dive deeper into specific areas such as relationships or personal growth. Nonetheless, these are minor critiques in comparison to the overall value that this podcast provides.
In conclusion, if you're a Type 5 on the Enneagram or if you know someone who is, The Enneagram Five podcast is an absolute must-listen. Cody and Josiah have created something truly special here by creating a space where Fives can feel understood and supported in their journey. The genuine camaraderie between the hosts is infectious, and it's a joy to listen to their conversations. This podcast goes beyond just surface-level discussions and truly delves into the complexities of being a Type 5. I am incredibly grateful to have found this podcast, and I can't wait to hear more episodes in the future.
