What can we, as Christians do to counteract it? 4.) Why do you think God didn't just say "Free the Slaves"? 5.) You should be known first for your allegiance to Jesus Christ rather than for your politics. Do you agree? Why or why not. 6.) Does the Bible say anything about gun control? 7.) We can have different convictions about issues where the Bible is silent. Do you agree? How can you love someone who disagrees with you? 8.) Murderers don't need guns to murder. It is a sin and heart problem. More laws don't stop lawbreakers. Do you agree? 9.) The very fact that we are able as Americans to discuss and debate these issues is a sign of our freedom. America is "flawed but free." Do you agree? Why or why not? 10.) How are you praying for the future of our country now?

How should we respond when Roe V Wade is overturned? 7.) Can people who believe in abortion be a part of the church? 8.) How can we support women who have already had an abortion? 9.) How should we be praying about the future of this subject in America? 10.) Are you optimistic about the future of America in this area? Why or why not?
Small Group Questions: 1.) How is chapter 7 like chapter 2? 2.) What are the differences between the four empires in the statute and represented as beasts? 3.) The Roman Empire is presented as the fiercest empire. In what way? 4.) The ten kings rule over the revised Roman Empire. How do you see that shaping up? 5.) Everyone interprets prophecy in light of their current events. How do we? 6.) When the ten kings arise, the little horn displaces three kings. The little horn is the anitchrist of Revelation. How do you see that shaping up? 7.) The stone which represents the kingdom of God destroys the kings and kingdoms of man. How does that happen according to Revelation? 8.) The revised Roman Empire has to exist when Jesus returns. How could that come to pass? What would have to happen? 9.) Chapters 2-7 are in Aramaic. Why? 10.) Chapter 8 switches back to Hebrew. Why?
Small Group Questions: 1.) Chapter 8 tells Daniel and us the immediate future for Israel. Why would that be helpful to them? 2.) God told Daniel about Alexander the Great's empire and even his destruction hundreds of years before it happened. How does that make you think about prophecy yet to be fulfilled? 3.) Daniel read the prophecy from Jeremiah, yet he prayed for its fulfillment. How do those two things work together? 4.) In Daniel's prayer he identified with the sins of Israel even though he did not personally commit them. Why did he do that? 5.) Gabriel told Daniel that the temple would be built in 49 years and then another 434 years would pass before the Messiah (Anointed One) would be cut off. Why would it seem that the Messiah appeared to accomplish nothing? 6.) After the 483 years the Church Age began. We don't know when this season will end but we know it is followed by the final seven years. What is that seven year period called? 7.) Where else did we study the tribulation period? 8.) Pastor Terry believes in a pre-tribulation rapture of the Church. Do you? 9.) The Church is a mystery in the Old Testament. It began in a mystery, and it ends in a mystery. Jesus said no one knows the day or hour of its ending and his return. When do you think this will happen? 10.) In Daniel God laid out the future of the Gentile world and the Jewish world. Where are we now?

Why was Nebuchadnezzar pleased with the interpretation? 4.) The Roman Empire is represented by the two legs and then ten toes. This kingdom is divided. This seems to be the Revised Roman Empire. Do you agree? 5.) In the case of Joseph and Daniel, God raised up Jewish leaders to rule world empires. What is significant about that? 6.) Where are we now in history according to the statute? 7.) Why was the stone cut without human hands? 8.) What does the stone represent? 9.) How long does the kingdom of the stone last? 10.) God show Daniel the rest of the Gentile empires. Why is that so amazing?
