A new MP3 sermon from Whitcomb Ministries is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: The Necessity of God's Power (Part 2) Subtitle: (EGT) Biblical Apologetics Speaker: Dr. John Whitcomb Broadcaster: Whitcomb Ministries Event: Radio Broadcast Date: 10/25/2025 Bible: Isaiah 64:6-7; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 Length: 25 min.
Dr. John Whitcomb instructs us further regarding "The Necessity of God's Power" in this message, continuing his series on "Biblical Apologetics," which was first delivered at Appalachian Bible College in Mount Hope, W.Va. This sermon reinforces the certainty that God's Word is true from the beginning to the end by explaining more about how to share our faith with those who disagree and resist the message of God's grace. It goes into detail regarding the power source that influences unbelievers—namely Satan and his demons, and how they relate to history and prophecy. With host Wayne Shepherd, we consider how to respond Biblically when unbelievers are less than enthusiastic about our witness for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for joining us on this edition of "Encounter God's Truth" from Whitcomb Ministries. We encourage you to make full use of this program by sharing it with a friend who could be encouraged by it.
This week on "Encounter God's Truth" from Whitcomb Ministries, Bible teacher Dr. John Whitcomb presents part one of a message called "The Necessity of God's Power." We go to Appalachian Bible College in Mount Hope, W.Va., along with host Wayne Shepherd, to learn how the Bible clearly explains that every person possesses a sin nature that renders us totally depraved. This desperate condition requires God's perfect ability in order to make it possible for anyone to believe the gospel and be saved. This can never be accomplished by our feeble attempts to manipulate or trick people into accepting the gospel. In this lesson, Dr. Whitcomb unfolds the place that arguments and evidences for the Christian faith should have in our witness—in light of both the total depravity of man and the inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. God's Word is true from the beginning to the end! Thanks for listening to it today on "Encounter God's Truth."

We continue our conversation, Part 2 with Wilma Hollis for Spicy Christian Women - Becoming All that and a Bag of Chips. It starts early in life, the things we are drawn to. “Growing up, who did you look up to?”“I looked up to people who told the truth. I looked up to, the pastor that I had growing up. I looked up to a journalist.I looked up to people who defended you know someone who would say, that was wrong, you shouldn't have done that. We don't have enough of that now.”What do women need right now?“Our role as the primary nurturers doesn't change just because the times change. If anything, there's a… there's more of a demand on our need to nurture. There's more of a demand to make the kids feel safe, to help, you know, people in your world feel like everything's gonna be okay. And so, in these times, it's so important that we nurture others, that's still… that's still necessary, but also make sure that we nurture ourselves.”Yes, that. Wilma has been on the podcast before in Seek it and Speak Itepisode 226 and Your Life Speaks to You episode 179.You can find her at Wilma Hollis. Thanks for being part of the UY conversation. The Unabashed You website has a page for each guest of photos, quotes and a blog with embedded audio at unabashedyou.com. Today on Bridging the Gap, pastor Lloyd Pulley will draw out some important lessons from the story of Ananias and his wife Sapphira. In Acts chapter five, Ananias And Sapphira sell some property just to get some accolades. What they receive is the judgment of God. It makes us wonder if they were really Christians at all.

This woman has a lot of wisdom to impart. Wilma Hollis is our guest this week for “Spicy Christian Women - Becoming All that and a Bag of Chips.” Here is part one.Her calling in life - the power of words. She encourages us to know this.“I need you to know that every word you speak has power, that you shouldn't say anything that you don't want to have happen in your life. You know, I'm sick and tired, I was scared to death, you know, you get on my nerves. One of the quotes I like is, if you don't seek it, don't speak it.”We agreed that God is always speaking. “How does God speak to you?”“How does God speak to me? God speaks to me in so many untraditional ways. You know, everyone says, oh, well, when I read my Bible, when I go to church and hear a sermon or listen to a teaching… No, I mean, those things are wonderful, and God can speak to me like that, but generally, it's in very unexpected ways. When I'm in a conversation with one of my adult daughters, scrolling - it can be anything. Someone can send me a song and say, hey, listen to this, and man, if it comes at the right time, it hits at the right moment. That was for me.”Listen for some inspiration. Thanks for being part of the UY conversation. The Unabashed You website has a page for each guest of photos, quotes and a blog with embedded audio at unabashedyou.com. Today on Bold Steps with Pastor Mark Jobe, we’re going to be talking about the Gospel. It’s a message that’s easy enough for a child to understand … yet it’s deep enough that its complexity still confounds some of the most educated people in the world. And in today’s message, we’ll see why the apostle Paul writes that those who listen and grasp a hold of its power will never be the same! If you live or work in a big city, you’ve probably seen a number of cultural norms and trends being played out right before your eyes. The same was true for the apostle Paul, too. He wrote a letter to the largest city of his day, Rome, to explain that without the Gospel, there was no power to change. Today on Bold Steps, Pastor Mark Jobe, will be talking about this life-giving power. Jeffrey Epstein's relationship with Les Wexner was not just financial—it was the foundation of Epstein's rise from a mysterious money manager to a figure embedded in the world of extreme wealth and power. Wexner, the billionaire founder of L Brands and longtime CEO of Victoria's Secret, granted Epstein unprecedented access to his fortune, his homes, and his reputation. Epstein was given power of attorney over Wexner's finances, a level of trust so unusual it raised questions about the true nature of their bond. This arrangement allowed Epstein to control massive sums of Wexner's wealth, acquire luxury properties, and build the image of legitimacy he later used to lure victims and cultivate influence..Yet Wexner has long insisted that he, too, was deceived by Epstein, claiming that Epstein stole money and betrayed his trust. That narrative, however, collapses under scrutiny. Maria Farmer's testimony places abuse at Wexner's heavily guarded Ohio estate, and Epstein's use of Wexner's assets—such as the Manhattan townhouse he effectively gifted him—suggests far more than a duped investor. The fact that Wexner enabled Epstein's ascent, while escaping the same level of media and legal accountability as other Epstein associates, underscores how wealth and influence insulated him. Their relationship was not incidental; it was the keystone that transformed Epstein from a grifter into a predator with access to the corridors of power.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Being equipped for the work God has called us to do … that’s the topic today on Bold Steps with Pastor Mark Jobe. He is going to be talking about the power we have as people of God. And he’s said many times before that Christians seriously underestimate that power and provision.
