With the threat or loss of jobs, don't feel guilty if you cannot afford to buy children the presents that they really want or that you THINK! they want. Having conversations with children will prepare them for lifes challenges but you might also be surprised by their resilience and what REALLY matters to them. I asked 2 of my nieces to ask 3 simple questions to their children Stefan & Sapphire aged 6, and Kimiko aged 8. Their responses might surprise you.
