Do we grow in Christ by working at it, or by God working in us? In today's sermon, Josiah examines that question and shows the it's both together. The main way we grow in Christ is through supernaturally empowered effort. Our sanctification is God's work, but He desires for us to be involved.
In this sermon, Josiah addresses whether God saves us for our sake, or for His glory, as well as the question of whether God created us for a relationship with Himself, or for His glory.
In today's sermon, Josiah addresses whether God wants everyone to be saved, or only the elect. He makes the case that both are true in some sense, and examines what it means that God desires all to be saved, and how that desire affects God's heart.
